harry01: True talk bro , but a girl that wants to make her hair for 12k
Such gals are more. It was one of such dat woke me frm sleep, asking for recharge card (@ abt 11pm). When am thinking abt how to beat Lagos traffic to get to work this morning. These types I don't pity them. I only pity some few who just compromise to avoid starvation.

Well I don't support prostitution in anyway and for any reason (poverty inclusive) becos I believe that there are other better alternatives to meet ones daily needs....The situation in this country too isn't helping. I met a young lady recently. She is one of these product marketers common in Lagos close to my workplace. Over time we became friends because she was always disturbing me to buy their products. She told me over the weekend dat for 2 mths now they weren't paid cos of low sales except for some few sales commission. I tot she was scamming me so I took time to verify. Some of her 8 co-flatmate n co-marketers had to result to different things to survive, including sleeping around so dat they could feed. I have seen young gals hustling to survive alone in this Lagos. Things that I heard and experienced in Lagos abt this issue are hard to express here on NL. Like I said before, there is no justification for Prostitution, but while we condemn the Act, let's us also realise that for some, if the socio-economic situation was better, perhaps they wouldn't have had to sell there pride for money....

worry359: That just means that he has not offered enough money yet!
I guess it because they are still grieving. I really feel for the family.
Family › Re: HELP!!! Accidental Murder By Car: Can He Go To Jail??? by jauntty(op): 12:50pm On Aug 07, 2014
coogar: they won't grant him bail unless he rubs the palms of the police officers. you better tell your friend to pay up as soon as he can before things escalate....

you dunno lagos police officers - they would soon substitute him for an armed robber son of a billionaire. the billionaire's son would be released & your friend would replace him.
That's why I don't ever want anything to do with Nigerian police. You can be innocent and yet some will falsely accuse and beat you to confess to a crime you never committed

richarts: 5. He should get ready to part with a large amount of money to lawyers and the police but he should spend wisely or else he will waste money.
.
I was informed now that he has gotten a lawyer and are negotiating his bail terms. Something else came up. The lawyer was suggesting that they settle Out-of-court. (Compensation) but the family is saying that "they cannot sell their son for money. "

coogar: vehicular manslaughter!
it depends on what really happened. was the driver drunk? did he overspeed? was the child at fault for crossing the road carelessly?

you have to provide those facts before one can tell you how to go about it.......
He was not drunk. Really don't know about the speed. It was an express road so I guess it was on the high side.
