He raises goats and sheeps, at the end of each yr, sells them and then divert the profit into buying some lands., now he does all these plus builds like three bed-room apartment with like 3M and sells it for 4.5M to 6M, this man is a real big man, it ttook me time before i could understand his wealth secret. Honestly if u need a long term money spinning biz. Go into Real estates.

@op. I think piggery is more profitable, only it will take time..but very very profitable. We intend to start dat here. As for eggs distribution i think its ok, but d thing get wahala o, and its not even as profitable as egg production. But nevertheless its still profitable especially if you want to be getting ur profit frequently unlike piggery which wil take longer.

@poster, y not take a portion of d money like 500k - 700k and invest in carwash or football viewing center, u can reserve the remaining money while u look out for other lucrative/low risk opportunity or gradually u can multiply the branches/outlets of the carwash, within a a year u can begin earning ur target. u need to consider some principles when investing: ready demand for the service or product, low risk and manageability, level of control over unforeseen outcomes. Etc. Just think but pls dont invest ur money on business u dont have have knowlegde about or control over directly, dont invest based on trust, people change once money reaches their hands, anyway some people are still trustworthy sha, dont do any long distance investment, oil and gas is ok, fish farming,if u have the technical know how is ok, transport biz is ok, too but u need good/indepth knowledge of how this biz works and good hands to manage them for u. A very painful incidence, had similar experience in kano, a teenage boy hawking by road side was surmoned by another driver to bring something he was selling, he didnt even look well before crossing, so suddendly i jus saw him in front if my car, so close, i applied brakes, turned d car's direction away but still my left mirror took on him, my car did four days wt d police, had to settle d boy's hospital bills and settle his parents too. I js pray God will help the old woman and console the corps parents. She may be on top speed i guess, not good for a learner....

Alrite guys here's mine, was broke sold my lapi to help add up to her tuition fees, still, during my financial downtime, sold my storex water reserve tank and pumping machine to help her final year project demands, once drove all the way from kano to Lokoja to attend her birthday (the one i single-handedly funded) night journey for that matter, at the end nko? she left me for one school capon, she is regretting her actions now, and am good now, but cant stop spanking myself anytime i remember these crazy things...lesson learnt sha.

Speaking through my past encounters around enugu axis, have never had any job around Abakaliki sha, the soil there usually has a high pH reading(somehow acidic) which is not very favorable to earthen pond fish culture, but you can excavate the ponds, pump in water, please be cautious of flooding as per the site you will select, test ur pH,u can always use pH adjusters Calcium Carbonate etc to adjust it, re-test it and when u certain its okay, introduce the green algaes etc, stock your fish, that's all. u still need help of a good consult Please, visit farms around there, they can recommend a good one...
yes...dont allow the fingerlings or juveniles to be over-stressed during transportation to your farm, if they do, shock due to environmental differentials may kill many of them.
