Agriculture / Re: I will invest in a business idea - Agriculture by jaybabs1(m): 2:15pm On Jun 21, 2015
Hi VentureCap, I propose : 1. Raising broiler to just 6 - 7 weeks harvesting and dressing them and forwarding them to our privately owned/operated chicken restaurant/suya spot set up in strategic locations. The broilers can be grown in week batches. This way profit is fully extracted from each chain of value addition. We can also produce our own feeds to reduce cost of production but that's on the long run. Second proposal, open fish barbeque for producing grilled fish packaged in foil or take away pepper soup fish in three or four strategic locations and source the fishes from farms

Politics / Kano Computer/phone Market Burnt Down by jaybabs1(m): 9:05am On Feb 04, 2015
I just got news this morning that the largest computer and phone market in the Northwest region of Nigeria was burnt down completely yesternight. I don't have any details nor pictures. But I am concerned about the large number of youths that has been rendered unemployed, the gross loss of assets and valuables. That place feeds over 5000 people daily. Government should help o, Mr President Sir, this is an avenue to help and as well gain the support of the kano populace.
Politics / Re: Fayose Warns Apc And Buhari Over Attacks On pres. Jonathan by jaybabs1(m): 9:14pm On Jan 23, 2015
abuc:
In as much as I don't support Asari Dokubo and Ayodele Fayose recent actions, someone must be able to advice our Northern brothers to rebrand from violence to peace loving people. It was actually a bad PR for APC what happen in Katsina and Bauchi. If their supporters cannot listen to their advice, how would they be able to lead the entire Nation when they get to power. Violence for violence does not solve any problem but will lead to dangerous escalation. Rwanda Genocide in my Mind (God forbid)

When Lai Mohammed accuse Dokubo about the Arm deal in South Africa last year, Dokubo openly said he will physically attack Lai Mohammed. Alhaji Lai Mohammed have to plead with the Presidency to caution Dokubo because he's known to carry out whatever threat he makes. The Presidency intervene unofficially cheesy. Why can't Buhari and APC ask their Northern followers to be peaceful. Why must they be pampered when they cause chaos with the usual statement "Na so they be". This must STOP in order to avoid an emerging crisis.

Nobody should underrate Dokubo and Fayose. During Obasanjo tenure, Dokubo moves around Portharcourt with AK47 and bullet vest and the authorities could do nothing. His boys engage the Nigeria state in guerilla warfare and oil production was reduced to 700,000 barrels per day. This guy is tested and trusted with violence, I don't want to see that side of him anymore. Fayose on the other hand is tested and trusted. With the kind of things he has done in the past, I don't think he's scared of death. He's the only one that can be bold enough to attack Buhari the way he did in the past one week without any fear. He openly confronted OBJ even when he was not Governor with so much courage and audacity. Despite the cult following of Buhari, Fayose dared him and continue to do so.

Asari Dokubo and Ayodele Fayose are 2 lions the Presidency should caution. They are capable of fomenting trouble due to the unwarranted provocation from our Northern brothers. I don't want to experience war. I'm not a coward but war is not a party. I experience a little crisis in 1999 where light weapons were used and I can testify that War is dangerous and everyone loose at the end of the day.

The signs in Nigeria are not good ones. We must not add to the problem through Social Media.

Objective and Sensible Comment; Nigeria is already fragile, we all need to pray and work against chaos. 'ara o rokun ara o ro adiye' Meaning(IMO)- If the country plunges into crisis both the originators and the helpless masses will be at the receiving end, toh!

Op, i've heard similar experience, it hurts, you need to bring out the man in you and forget her, yes, its not easy, but she ain't worth you if she isn't loyal and i suppose her love for you wasnt deeply rooted, anyway, ladies of this days hardly have any real love for guys, they only live and get concerned about the 'NOW' they dont remember your past sacrifices and love for them, they are like where are you working 'now' how well can you cater for my needs 'now' please give yourself a 'think-through-therapy' say to yourself 'there are over a hundred better, more responsible ladies out there, and i will meet the one who deserves my genuiness' take heart.

Wadosky: my brother house rent in abuja is very high .
abuja is a very beautiful city but considering u r not financially stable ,you r not going to be staying in places like gwarinpa, asokoro, wuse, garki, maitama,.places like lugbe, kuje gwagwalada maraba nyanya masaka could match ur income.kubwa deidei suleja dutse can also match ur income.
a small self contain in lugbe can go between 250 to 300k per annum with or without water supply.
security is not that tight in abuja, daylight burglary is common in some certain areas.
foodstuffs are cheap when u go to bush markets around abuja.
transportation is affordable when you use big buses.
this pal spoke from real everyday experience.
All i can add is when u arrive u need to do alot of networking and publicity about ur profession. Network via associations, your religious denomination, traders selling materials you use for your profession, your friends and use your complimentary cards and small handbills. Package yourself and pray well. You'll be good. Then you can consider staying with a good friend before renting your own apartment.

Car Talk / Re: Nigeria Women Cant Drive! by jaybabs1(m): 3:56pm On Oct 31, 2013
Women drive real well, and their driving mode is usually a 'Rules-abiding', 'slow-smooth-and-steady' motion. its just that they tend to get frightened at the slightest provocation and this affects their driving judgements. But wait o...one lady once gave me a chase of my life..along Jigawa(kazaure) - kano. Single-lane express. We did like 160km/hr - 180km/hr. I was doing my 120..je je...she whipped past me at about 160km/hr and i got challenged....the race began...some women are PROs....

Lol, My Sister's One Year and three months Old daughter is guilty of all of the above, that girl is a 'bundle of Wahala' just late yesternight after everyone was asleep including her, she woke up solo and headed into the kitchen got herself drunk and drenched with Kerosine-imagine. Often she pulls off heavy luggages of the table or cupboard and empty everything on herself, she cud get lost in the house, You search for over half an hour and find her munching either fried meat, biscuit or fish under the bed. But she is a real beauty and very sharp.

Dear OP, Anyhow and anyway it turns out after ur second test, u must be brave, be strong and overcome ur emotions (not an easy one though cos this thing-love has a way of weakening its victim's reasoning and logic) she better be a forgotten past than to be a future problem, u wudnt want to start a new family on the foundation of crises here and there, be sure that baby is urs else.... even if u forgive her, problem awaits ur marriage with her in future. However, i wud rejoice with You if that first test is proved incorrect, that wud save lot of stress. I feel ur pain.

My Bros, i advise u check the exhaust emission sensors factory-attached to ur exhaust system. Those mechs may not re-fix the sensor plug when fixing ur new exhaust system, if the sensors plug has being fixed then try to check the sensors itself if its ok. But why change the exhaust system in the first place, since ur car only had transmission issues?
