Meldrick:Damn, no one is asking him to live from hand to mouth. Common sense is just making us question the display of wealth when it's quite obvious majority of the congregation falls under the category of "Nigerians living on less than $2 a day" Na real wa oh |
r231:She probably thinks it's something that gets granted that easily. It also appears that either husband doesn't have papers himself or they got married via the back route cos if either of ma intuiton is wrong then the OP should have no working papers worries. |
violent:Tell me about it, Next door neighbour suddenly becomes stupendously rich and you had see troops worshipping him instead of questioning his wealth. As they say, anything and everything goes in naij. No be naija? |
Ujujoan:It's not that straight forward heheheheheh |
Jumping the broom is aiiight |
It funny how the don't ask/question attitude has contributed immensely to the current state of affairs in Naij. |
![]() I don't share |
Ujujoan:Very soon oh ma darling. Me i no get stress at work oh so na so so smily face i go dey bring come house. U gats to dey shine ma congo wella though. U know nau. lool |
Ujuuuuuuuuu hmmmmmmmmmm |
Ujujoan:Her husband not her fiance ![]() Ujujoan:Yes you can be hence the reason why most people here are going on about her working once she is able to. The husband action is not excusable though but the advice is on best way to go about making her relationship work. Breakup shouldn't always be next order of event, IMO it should always be the last ![]() |
r231:Uju probably thinks it's dat easy to pick up any hard working man on the streets of london |
Ujujoan:Meaning they are always right ![]() Ujujoan:Not disputing that fact but the wedding is going to be between Mr A and Miss B Ujujoan:Ok this is not part of the script. We are talking about having a wedding before or after giving birth Ujujoan:So does having the wedding before the child birth guarantees he would not run off if that has always been his plan? Ujujoan:No they don't if they aren't paying. |
Memunah:Can i come celebrate it with ya? Happy b'day ![]() |
Ujujoan:They are meant to have own choice not parent's choice => Ma point They are the ones getting married not parent hence going along with what's comfortable for 'em both. At the end of the day they are paying for it so why allow parents dictate? |
^^^ She doesn't live in Nigeria so less obligation to follow the crowd. Do you even know why most parents frown at the idea? They probably do cos of what people will say not because it's a tradition or what not |
aminalib:Like seriously? It's like living in phoenix and dating someone in vegas or there about. Anyhoo, if phone communication is important to you then let him understand that. Don't think their is any other alternative workaround. I personally ain't really into phone convo so i make that known before venturing into any relationship |
Migration office? |
How about our way? Is he OK with the idea of having the wedding after you give birth? At the end of the day it's you guys wedding not your folks so do whatever u guys r comfortable with. |
hmmmmm okiessssss Both at wrong IMO Dude's action suggests it's not the first time he has done such whilst the wife is just errm errrrm errrmmmm. They need prayers like for real. Their is a probable cause for divorce but why trick your wife? She might as well claim she knew it was him all along and only trying to figure out what he is always up to on FB. Mehn what dis FB is gon cause. Na real wa |
Thought it was concluded that long distance thingy wasn't for you. hmmmmmmmm |
lily, 145:Some men usually get stressed out when they see their woman sitting her behind at home all day watching all sort of TV whereas the other half is stressing his butt out (regardless of the situation either being ur choice or not). I appreciate you not having sorted out your papers and i'm not guessing that's the reason why he acts up all the time but all these things do add up. Question is do you want your relationship to work? If yes then surely you should be asking for things to do so as to change the current situation. As per the accent, it's something that's difficult to change especially when one is already an adult. you can however improve your communications skills by taking on short communication skills whilst you are still at home. You can also try making sure he doesn't come home seeing you watching nollywood or being on the phone acting like you don't care. At the end of the day though, he doesn't have a right to be treating you that way but i'm sure dis dude is someone u once loved vice versa so look for solutions rather than calling it quits |
Probably a medical doctor, Don't know why i had to listen to the advice of not wanting to have 2 docs in a fam. Do y'all know that medical doctor is about the only profession one is guaranteed a job after graduating. I think only 0.1% of graduates with a medical degree are without employment 6 months after graduating in the UK. They also earn big bucks ![]() |
Are you a sit at home wife? You have to open your heart out to him though by making him understand how his various nagging and complaints are making you feel low on confidence. PS: Thread moved to Family section where you can get good quality advice |

All dis FB wahala sef. Why must he prophes his love for her on the www? did they meet online? If she doesn't trust him then she has the right to break up with him as long as she has valid evidence to back her suspicions. |
