Nairaland GeneralPro-biafra Protests Are A Waste Of Time - Fr. Mbaka by jaybossYBNL(op): 9:07am On Nov 15, 2015

Pro-Biafra Protests Are A Waste Of Time - Fr. Mbaka, News, Fr.Mbaka, Enugu State, Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka, has condemned the recent protests for Biafra, describing the action as evil.
Fr. Mbaka made the condemnation on Saturday in Enugu during a sermon at his weekly Adoration Ministry where he urged youths in the South East and South-South to go back to their homes and businesses as the protest could lead to their death.

According to NAN, he said:

“Locking up your shops and disrupting economic activities will not add any naira to your pocket, whatever grievance you have could be resolved through dialogue,” the cleric said.
He also lashed out at leaders that were behind the protests, saying they should use their own children for the struggle not the public.
Fr. Mbaka commended President Muhammadu Buhari's appointment of ministers from the zone and assigning them with good positions.

“President Buhari’s action has proven that the South-East has not been marginalised. I would have reacted if no minister emerged from the zone,” he said.
He blamed Igbo leaders for the bad infrastructures in the regions.

He said: “President Buhari is not the cause of poor roads, unemployment and other decay infrastructures in the South East, we should blame our leaders.

“Most of the roads had been awarded but our leaders squandered the fund, even the university teaching hospital in Enugu is a no-go-area and our leaders are not concerned about it,” he said.
Fr. Mbaka called on the new Minister of Labour and Employment, Dr. Chris Ngige, to use his office to employ youths in the zone, adding that it would stop what he called another Boko Haram in the South East if not curtailed.

He ended by urging Nigerians to be patient with the president as he had good plans for the country.

Nollywood actress Daniella Okeke took to her Instagram page to write on Nigerians showing sympathy over Paris terrorist attacks but not for the daily Boko Haram attacks.

Just yesterday Phyno and Tiwa Savage was blasted on Instagram for posting about Pray for Paris.

Read below...

How many times have you offered prayers for Nigeria, shown support for the country in this trying times or changed your dp to the Green and white national colours to identify with your country on the Boko haram insurgency that has been on for over 5 years now?
In what way have you shown concern about the plight of people in the north east?
What about the missing ChibokGirls?
Why didn't you pray for them? Instead ye all went saying #bringbackourgirls targeting #GEJ...
Did you see any individual, political party or a group in France calling a press conference to blame their President/Government for the tragedy? If it were to be here (God forbid bad thing) ye all should have been blaming #PMB and #PDP /#APC by now.

Now ask yourself......

How many times has Mark Zuckerberg's facebook given you the opportunity to change your profile picture and show support for the boko haram victims in the manner they did for France today or are they less humans?
Ain't saying you shouldn't pray for Paris or show your support for them but just DON'T BE STUPID and try changing your dp to the Nigeria flag or pic mix your photo with the coat of arm as we ain't gat an eiffel tower here, show support for the North Eastern people and remember to pray for them too.
#Pray4Nigeria
May the souls of the Bokoharam victims, ISIS victims and that of the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace.

Nairaland GeneralNFL Star Facing Seven Years In Jail For Barking At Police Dog by jaybossYBNL(op): 10:34am On Nov 12, 2015

An American football star is facing seven years in prison after he allegedly barked at a police dog and pounded his chest .

Oakland Raiders Ray-Ray Armstrong has been accused of taunting the animal as he lifted his shirt before the start of Sunday’s game at the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Chief Deputy Kevin Kraus said the incident happened between the player leaving the changing room and heading on to the field to warm up before the game.

He said his deputy who was holding the dog said Armstrong told her to "send the dog."

"The dog was going crazy,"The deputy was trying to control the dog the best she could.
“We were immediately notified about the incident, and we immediately initiated a criminal investigation into the matter.”

She said the Armstrong was shouting

"Hey dog, hey dog" as he taunted the animal"Bandit was very agitated,” she said.
“He wanted me to let him go. I imagine with his training and experience he would have gone to his target who was taunting him. “I don't want to speculate on what he would have done," she said.

The Allegheny County Sheriff's Office are looking at possibly charging the 26-year-old with a third degree felony .If found guilty he could face up to seven years in prison and a maximum $15,000 fine.

Nairaland GeneralPurchase Of Vehicles: Premium Times Got Wrong Figures by jaybossYBNL(op): 4:08pm On Nov 11, 2015
In response to https://www.nairaland.com/2728511/benue-governor-ortom-buys-n.5billion

Our attention has been drawn to a publication by Premium Times concerning purchase of vehicles by the Benue State Government published on Wednesday, 11th November, 2015.

All the figures quoted in the report are wrong just as the entire import of the write up.

One wonders why this purchase which was announced by the state government after a meeting of the executive council which took the decision several months ago would suddenly become news much later.

We announced that the Benue State House of Assembly approved that we purchase vehicles for government officials in the three arms of government at a total of N1. 5 billion.

However, the executive council approved that the cars should be bought at slightly over N1. 3 billion.

From the onset ,Premium Times got it wrong by underquoting the figures which we announced and by limiting the vehicles to the Governor's aides, while lumping chairmen's vehicles procured separately, by the Bureau of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, with those approved by the executive council.

The vehicles approved by council included those for commissioners, special advisers , some members of the House and High Court Judges.

On all the other scores the report was also wrong. The vehicles have not been given out on loan except where a public official wishes to purchase it such would be made to pay.

In this regard, the regulations so quoted as being breached do not apply in the first place.
The transaction was also done in accordance with due process in the state.
It is surprising too that instead of going straight to Toyota Nigeria website to obtain the prices of the vehicles, Premium Times resorted to quoting online sources and unauthorised Toyota dealers that could sell second hand or even substandard products at give away prices.

The publication also gave the impression that Toyota has only one type of Prado which cost a particular amount, but this is not the case. We know of Prado TXL and VX which differ in cost .

Indeed the Sports Utility Vehicles, procured for the 13 commissioners are Toyota TXL model at N13.6 million each. None of them was purchased at N18 million as erroneously captured in the Premium Times report.
Even the first consignment of the four more costly VX model were purchased at slightly below N17 million.

With regard to the Corolla cars, we urge Premium Times or any other person to visit Toyota Nigeria or authorised dealers like Elizade to discover that none of the brand new ones cost the N5 million stated in the report.

Those supplied to the state government came at the off shelf price of close to N8 million each.
These vehicles have been procured once in four years which is the life span of the first mandate given to Governor Samuel Ortom.

In the case of the chairmen their vehicles are the only functional ones in each of the 23 councils.
The cost of the vehicles could be attributed to the exchange rate of the naira at the time of their purchase.
Their durability and dependability has not been questioned and is not in doubt.
At no time did Governor Ortom ever pledge not to purchase cars for public officials.

For the chairmen the Benue State Local Government Law prescribes their entitlement to official vehicles which provision is also made for such in the appointment letters of commissioners and special advisers.

It is unfortunate that the purchase of vehicles for public officials, usually taken for granted on account of necessity, would become an issue.
This is deliberate. The previous administration which has brought the state to its current situation deliberately planned that vehicles should not be purchased in the succeeding dispensation.

During the previous administration, Prado Jeeps could be procured for traditional rulers across the state who are more in number than the commissioners.

The slant in the report to give the impression of the Ortom administration living in luxury in the face of abject poverty indicated that it was sponsored.
No wonder that its publication also coincided with the arraignment of former governor, Dr Gabriel Suswam on charges of graft at an Abuja Federal High Court.

This is intended to divert attention from the arraignment and the issues involved.

This ploy should be ignored or dismissed.

I Didn't Create Any Mess, Ortom And APC Did During The Campaigns - Suswam

Former governor of Benue state, Gabriel Torwua Suswam had on October 22 said in a few days time he will respond to the issues raised against him in the publication written by Gov. Of Benue State, Samuel Ortom through his media aid Tahav Agezua.

The former Benue number 1 citizen has responded in a sponsored Facebook post yesterday explaining how Benue state was governed since the time of the first civilian governor of the state, Late Aper Aku, that he is not responsible for Benue problems.

Read it below...

Having observed with much concern and sympathy the ongoing plight of the workers and people of Benue State under the reign of the Ortom administration, I consider it pertinent to make my views known on a number of salient issues.

While growing up as a teenager, I witnessed the reign of the first Executive Governor of our dear state, late Apollos Aper Aku, a man who gave his all to the development of the state in the four years of his governorship, during which time he put in place landmark achievements which are still standing the test of time to date. But I also witnessed how he was rewarded with mischief by the political elite and rejection by the people who were manipulated and misled into scorning such an innocent man as a petty criminal.

Aku died prematurely, an abandoned, sick and sad man. Today, time alone has been merciful enough to give to him his due, and so we are left with no option but to recognise his true worth and the quality of his legacy which in his lifetime was dismissed as the worthless work of 'an-or sugar'- a diabetic.

Rev. Fr. Orshio Adasu came along years after Aku as the second Executive Governor of the state and with uncommon forthrightness and courage, against daunting obstacles, he erected landmark achievements in the state within a period of less than two years, among which is the first state-owned University in the northern part of Nigeria, the Benue State University, Makurdi which sufficiently redressed our disadvantaged status in tertiary academic enrolment in the country.

But Fr. Adasu too found no appreciation from the people he gave so much to and he died a sad and abandoned man who could not even afford the standard of medical care needed to keep him alive.

When I assumed office as the fourth Executive Governor of the state, I had a deep passion burning in me which largely derived from the quality of exposure and orientation I had acquired from eight years of robust political leadership participation at the National Assembly as a frontline member of the House of Representatives. There I came face to face with the realities of leadership as being a matter of uncompromising determination fuelled by deeply-insighted vision. I had also acquired a rich store of social collateral attended by a sufficient degree of gravitas such as armed me to the hilt for the office of governor.

So I was able to hit the ground running and surmounting the many obstacles which were replete in the socio-political terrain. My guiding belief was that I had come to build and not at all to destroy, to make progress going forward from where the efforts of my predecessor, George Akume, stopped. I still believe that it is the cumulative efforts of one administration after the other which have brought this state this far, without their having been a need for an inquest into an era from a succeeding one, until this present situation preceding my tenure of office which has seen a determination on the part of my successor, Gov. Ortom, to denigrate my person and distort the verdict of the legacy of my stewardship.
The reasons advanced by Ortom for his actions against me keep changing and increasing with the latest being that the people of Benue State have demanded of him to probe me, and I think there could be nothing more absurd than that. Ortom is certainly at liberty to make any claims as to what the Benue people demand of him, but on an empirical basis it is clear what the people require of this administration as a matter of priority; and that is that the administration clear the mess which it created by its legion of malicious lies and fabrications during the campaigns leading up to the last elections, which it now attempts to label as the 'Suswam Mess'.

Did I, Gabriel, in my capacity as the 4th Executive Governor of Benue State, create and leave behind any mess in terms of administering the affairs of this state? The anti-graft agencies which Ortom has instigated and sponsored my being taken to will determine that. Then time also which keeps unfailing will deliver its verdict on my tenure of office same as it did on Aku's and Adasu's tenures, regardless of what their traducers sought to do against them after they had left office.

Today the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state and the Ortom administration seek to runaway from the mess they created for themselves during the campaigns to the last elections by labelling it the in my name. How are the major problems in Benue State today created by Suswam?

About salary arrears, during the campaigns, I told the people that on assumption of office, I had, without prompting from any quarters whatsoever, increased the wages of workers in the state when I discovered those wages were pathetically low. I had consistently paid the workers their wages for almost eight years without fail, until the slump in national earnings from crude sells forced on my administration an inability to pay salaries as consistently as I had done, and this was not a situation exclusive to Benue State alone, but it was same for 28 other states.

Unfortunately, the APC and Ortom, in their desperation for votes, chose instead to manipulate the people by telling them lies that I didn't pay salaries just because I had corner the monies for my own use, and that I was the only governor owing workers salaries in the country. Today, the reality has dawned on everyone. I did not owe workers salaries out of choice, but because I just couldn't do otherwise with the dwindling accruals from the federal allocations and this was a nationwide problem.

Today, the APC and Ortom are faced with the naked and ugly reality of going before the people and telling them the truth that they lied to them, that they were dishonest and cheated their way to power. Instead of doing this, they have chosen again to be manipulative by seeking to mislead the people to accept that the situation on ground can be given the name associated to me. And I ask, will there be no end to the manipulations and deceit of the APC and Ortom in this state? Can they not for once be honest to the people?

On the issue of loan and bailout, the Ortom administration, in its usual gimmickry and targeting to further manipulate the people, continues to rack up ridiculous figures which it ascribes as the debt profile of my administration. Yet, it has deliberately refrained from divulging the details of how those figures run and tally up to the sole liability of my administration and not that of the cumulative era of past administrations in the state.
But at the same time the Ortom administration has in the span of less than half a year accumulated a debt profile more than twice the amount that I left behind, after a full eight years tenure in office, during which I delivered on core developmental imperatives and did leave behind a legacy which I daily go to to sleep satisfied will in the course of time vindicate rather than vilify me as the ruling administration in the state currently seeks to.

Currently, Benue workers have had to go on the streets to force Ortom's administration to pay them their basic entitlements even when the administration has borrowed more than enough monies for that purpose. It is becoming a matter of increasing concern what the motives and focus of the administration are, even if within the short span that might be permitted it if the course of justice is allowed to prevail in the matter of the legitimacy or otherwise of the electoral mandate it is presently holding. And this is a concern that is increasingly underlining the psyche of the Benue people who are daily confronted with the obvious lack of direction of the ruling administration and its penchant and appetite for deceit and manipulation.

I like to emphasise at this point that I am satisfied that I left Benue State better than I met it, and I have implicit faith that time will surely bear out the truth regarding my tenure of stewardship as governor of this state, and only then will the people judge between deceit and fact, same as has happened for Aku and Adasu before me.

I want to use this medium to thank all my friends who have stood by me, encouraging me by word of advice and prayers. It is also important to mention here that, i appreciate all the messages sent to my Facebook account and page, it may take long but I'll read them all and respond. I urge all my friends to as a matter of urgency remove themselves from all other fraudulent Facebook accounts and pages in my name. This will leave the fraudsters with no other choice than to close down such accounts.

Every bloggers wish is to have a Google Adsense account and start making money with it and am not exempted from this, I started my entertainment blog in November 2013 and ever since then I have been applying for adsense but they keep rejecting my application.

Upon Googles rejection I never gave up, I kept pushing harder not minding what some gurus normally say that you must have many unique articles before Google adsense will approve your application.

I even had a deal with a blogger who I will not want to mention his name, He was to take 40% while I will take 60% but the deal didn't go as planned so I removed the adsense ads from my blog, I will not advise anybody to take that path because its risky even though you want to do it, do it with someone you trust.

I first applied for Adsense when I designed this blog but was rejected because of Insufficient content, then I left it like that then I continued posting until I got a custom domain name.

I applied again with my new custom domain, I was accepted at the first stage but was rejected on the second verification, I never loose faith in my God. while I was in the village on the 4th of November, I decided to place the ad code on my blog again and see, I placed the ad code and within hours I received a mail that my Google Adsense account has been fully activated.

The mail I received.

I said wao, am I dreaming? No, I was not dreaming, Its reality.....Now its time to make money LOL.

So how did Adsense approve me with just 8 blog posts?

For Adsense to approve you like me, you have to consider the following.

1. Site Navigation - I designed the blog using Awesome Inc template which is easy to navigate and you don't have to zoom your device to read the blog, its pages are well arranged in a way that any blog reader can get what they want at anytime they land on the blog.

2. Content - Content comes second on my list because its after the design that you can then think of what to post on the blog, It's a personal blog so I was not always in a rush to post, I take time to write my blog posts, if you observe I normally leave the blog for months without updating, its because am always busy researching on what to write about or doing my other online businesses. I always write quality and unique articles for this blog, they were just eight when Google adsense accepted me, its not magic, its real.

3. Pages - I created the important pages that a blog needs for it to be accepted by Google adsense which are as follows....

A. About Page: This page describes me as a person and what I will be talking about on this blog and once someone clicks it he or she will read about me and what the blog is all about.

B. Privacy Policy: This one talks about the information the blog will receive from every visitor, i even mentioned Google Adsense as a advertisement company that i use of which i was not using at that time, the trick is just to show respect to them.

C. Contact Page: This is a page that someone can enter to send you a mail or get your contact details to talk to you or complain about your service.

D. Sitemap: This is a page that carries all the blog posts on the blog arranging them according to their labels which makes it easy for a blog reader to find the content he or she is looking for, and it helps search engines to index your content easily too.

4. Remove other ads: I removed my entertainment blog and domainking affiliate banners from the blog, Google sees it as a rival so I got rid of them before applying.

5. Get a Custom Domain: With a custom domain, Google adsense will take you more serious and not like some folks who open blogs just to get adsense approved using the blogs and zoom off.

This is all I did for Adsense to accept me, it was not by my luck but by God's grace.

Is there anything I didn't include that you think should be in the post? Let me know in the comment box.

Always share my blog posts with your friends and subscribe to the blog to receive my latest updates.

Thanks.

Sometime in May 2014, I was at Lekki Beach, a place we like to call CLASS OF WIZARDS or CLASS for short. It’s a place where young men and sometimes women come to chill out and share ideas on every topic there is to discuss.
On this day, one class member, Celestine seemed hyper happy. He kept smiling for no apparent reason. This prompted the rest of the class to ask what the happiness was about. Soon enough he began telling us about Radio Biafra, gave us the dial and started telling us about a demonstration scheduled for May 31, 2014. I calmly told him to relax on the pro-Biafra enthusiasm as although that dream was not dead, it was quite far from realization. I even placed a bet that the May 31 demonstration would be of no national significance. I won the bet.

Soon after the 2015 election and I was in Enugu, one of my favourite places to relax and I was having drinks with several young, enthusiastic and politically conscious Nigerians with whom I started a non-political movement – the Peoples Liberation Congress (PLC) – a movement seeking a working Nigeria with the full involvement of the youth population.

We were having drinks and discussing several issues and the issue of the late senator Chukwumerije came up, we compared his death to that of Oronto Douglas and majority of us were of the opinion that the latter would be remembered more than the aged former because he dedicated his life to a humanitarian cause. At a point I stood up to get drinks for a member of our movement who had just joined us. Just then I was stopped by a bearded man who I must say bore a striking resemblance to the late Biafran leader, Chukwuemeka Odimegwu Ojukwu. He asked if I was an Igbo man, given that I was wearing my trademark Yoruba native caps. I replied “Yes, abu’m nwa Aba” meaning I am from Aba. He then showed me his phone, claiming he had made some calls for us to be dealt with for insulting Chukwumerije in Biafra. I then got into a discussion with this man, explaining certain things.

The man later joined our table and introduced himself as a member of the Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB). After several minutes, we took his contact and promised to be in touch. As he left, we laughed over the fact that he was still thinking of Biafra seceding via violence.

That discussion made me embark on more research about the Biafra movement. I was to find out that the Radio Biafra my friend Celestine had told me about had started gaining the attention of the public in the East. I started asking random people I met in Enugu bars about what they felt about the whole Biafra thing. Their response was divergent. Many wanted Biafra, but a bloodless secession. Others wanted Biafra, and claimed to be ready for bloodshed too. The rest did not even want to hear of Biafra anymore.

Soon enough I was back in Lagos, although I had my ears on the activities of Radio Biafra and the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) in Enugu and other parts of the east. From what I was told, the director and major broadcaster of the pirate radio, Nnamdi Kanu was busy feeding his listeners with hate speeches and vulgarity. I was also told that he was spreading the propaganda of violence to his listeners. I have a problem with this. I, for one have undertaken a long study of Adolf Hitler, who led the most successful “tribe/race based” onslaught in history. One thing I learnt from Hitler was the power of sustained propaganda. Even though Hitler had violence as the means to carry out his plans, it is worthy to note that he spent about 20 years spreading the propaganda of love for “folk and fatherland.”

Now, Nnamdi Kanu has one of the most powerful propaganda medium ever –A RADIO STATION. But in my opinion, he is not spreading the right propaganda. Inciting people towards violence when you live in the UK and hold British citizenship is not a true revolutionary move. At least that’s not what I learnt from Mahatma Mohandas Gandhi, Martin Luther King and Nelson Mandela, not even Hitler. These men all led their revolutions from the front, not from a remote location. I insisted that if Nnamdi Kanu was in anyway serious, he should leave the UK, return to Nigeria and say those things he has been saying, so when he is picked up, his followers can “Mandelarize” him.

Radio Biafra kept waxing strong until they caught the attention of the Muhammadu Buhari-led Federal Government, who, in typical Buhari fashion began a clamp down on the station and IPOB members.

In October 2015, I took a week to visit Enugu again. This time around, I had IPOB and Biafra as one of the key reasons for this visit. Soon enough, I had several meetings with members of IPOB. Some were planned while some others happened by chance. We discussed at length, I needed to know the direction the IPOB movement was going. From my findings, Kanu was still on the same track. I was disappointed. But on the flip side, I was greatly impressed.

I was impressed because he had succeeded in planting the idea of ending this Royal Niger Company experiment, this Nigeria that has failed to live up to a quarter of its potential, as a result of a host of factors, including a host of factors (lol). I was impressed because Kanu had succeeded in making people in the South East and South South realize that there is a possibility for them to “leave.” This is okay, but I do not agree with the propaganda that is foisting marginalization as its primary argument and violence as its primary weapon. There is a greatly violent marginalisation happening in the Middle Belt, but… let me hold that thought for another day.

During my stay, I met with these IPOB people and I saw the enthusiasm they had, but it was blind enthusiasm. They did not know the consequences of such an unplanned, violence based secession. How not-so-good-an-idea such a move would be from a diplomatic perspective. And by diplomatic, I mean international relations.

More worrisome was the disdain the IPOB members and their sympathizers had for MASSOB members and any Igbo indigene that refuses to tow their train of thought. That is wrong, from a media perspective; it simply means your propaganda is not sinking in. Anytime I tell any IPOB or MASSOB member that I’m from Aba, they get angrier and I laugh some more. Aba is seen as one of the strongest hold, if not the strongest hold of the Biafra movement, but I’m not a fanatic person, I’m analytic biko.

Take the Buhari case as an example, I always ask people why they never saw Buhari as this incorruptible saint in the 2003, 2007 and 2011 presidential election? The answer is simple; a well-orchestrated propaganda was stringed together within a couple of years which made it possible for him to appear squeaky clean.

In addition to this, Radio Biafra and IPOB are not putting into consideration the millions of Igbos and South South indigenes that are living outside the “Biafran” territory. In plain English: Biafra is not a topic of popular discussion in many, many places in Nigeria. Again, Let me hold the thought I had… But Kanu needs to reach out if he knows what he is doing… which I mostly doubt.

Going back to Lagos, my idea of the realisation of Biafra remained the same: Biafra is a good idea, but Biafra is very far from being ready. I told one pro-Biafran friend of mine, “If Biafra is actualized without years of thorough planning, dem go fight the true true Biafra war within 6 months”

Not soon after I got back to Lagos, I heard that Nnamdi Kanu had returned to Nigerian and was arrested. I swallowed saliva. Things just got interesting!

As I write this, Kanu is yet to be released, I read that his bail conditions are yet to be met or something of that nature. There have been protests in Rivers, Delta, Enugu and Anambra states. There have also been solidarity marches in several countries around the world. But to what end?

I have since told people to leave me out of the Biafra argument, for now. Let us see how Kanu and his cohorts plan to use the event of his arrest to the advantage of their cause. But, if I am to give Kanu just one advise, only one… I will advise him to change the direction of the propaganda. Kanu should imagine the kind of global support the IPOB movement would have garnered if he had continually pushed for a referendum.

That’s the kind of thing that would sell without having to gain unnecessary enemies in the international community before his dream is even actualized. No smart revolutionary goes to public domain to solicit multi-billion dollar funds to acquire weapons. I’ve listened to Kanu several times on Radio Biafra and watched a few video clips. The young man is smart. But not smart enough in my opinion. In every revolutionary move, military tactics can never be overlooked. In fact, it is the most important thing to put into consideration, but you do not bring it to the front burner. It is left in the background while diplomatic strategies are employed and explored to the fullest.

The wiser solution in my opinion is to go back to the drawing board and begin pushing the idea of a referendum. A referendum will have a large majority of people from Southern Nigeria voting in favour of secession.

In case Kanu is not aware, some Yoruba people are also getting very tired of the Fulanis.

But, what do I know?

Nairaland GeneralGov. Samuel Ortom Dinned In A Local Market by jaybossYBNL(op): 12:37pm On Nov 08, 2015
Benue state governor, Dr.Samuel Ortom yesterday visited the Gbajimba Market in Guma Local Government where he interacted with the people and dinned with them.

The governor of the people as he is fondly called by his people ate pounded yam with fresh fish before they left.
