Politics / Re: Lagos “deports” 160 Northern Beggers by Jaylon(m): 1:03am On Aug 24, 2009
$osisi:

so if you have a link, the story becomes authentic?
anumanu
You think you're better than a Hausa man
at least their beggars are polite
Yours crash private parties.

Hausa people don massacre 10 igbos within these few minutes you
are defending them.

Tens more will be massacred within the next few minutes

Please get your priority straight. Yorubas are not igbo people enemies

$osisi:

did you read afaukwu's post where your fellow Yoruba people are gate crashing funerals  and weddings with babiallah plates? grin
begging is not a northern phenomenon.
That article shows your own beggars are very aggressive and dangerous.
abeg go siddon with your fist shaking
Jegede shokoya

Na waa oo

So there are no igbo beggars ? All igbos are filthy rich
Politics / Re: Lagos “deports” 160 Northern Beggers by Jaylon(m): 12:53am On Aug 24, 2009
~Sauron~:

Afaukwu is clueless. . . . . .He thinks he is talking to some village twerps here.
How can anyone say Lagos is surviving on oil money? Which stupid oil money?
The same oil money Northerners have used to develop their own states?
Some people are notoriously fickle.

it's not just afaukwu sef , there are others here who don't realize Lagos generates more
money internally than the oil allocation.
Politics / Re: Lagos “deports” 160 Northern Beggers by Jaylon(m): 12:45am On Aug 24, 2009
i think osisi and afaukwu are just mad because igbos are part of those evicted.

if igbos were not evicted, they won't give a damn about others including the hausas
Family / Re: Why Do Girls Date Married Men by Jaylon(m): 10:26pm On Jul 14, 2009
Because of the size of their wallet. Money talks.
Politics / Re: Why Did Obj Force Yar Adua On Us? by Jaylon(m): 10:42pm On Jun 28, 2009
Obj never thought this yar'adua guy would be as bad as this. The main reason I think
he chose yar'adua was because:

1. He wanted to appease the North so he had to choose a Northerner to succeed him

2. Yar'adua was the least corrupt governor according to an EFCC report

3. Anyone he hand picks to succeed him would not likely prosecute him for his misdeeds
Politics / Re: Why Soludo Was Dropped –northern Group by Jaylon(m): 12:39am On Jun 06, 2009
Do we really need a thread opened to tell us why Soludo was replaced with a Northerner undecided

Because they are not really rich to begin with. Life is not as rosy in the UK as Nigerians think.

Family / Re: Why Do Poor People Have So Many Kids by Jaylon(m): 9:53pm On Jun 05, 2009
Because they fail to use protection during sex or the woman fails
to use birth control pills (family planning).

$osisi:

point of correction Okonjo Iweala is from the SE
women are regarded to come from their husband's state of Origin

eh sorry but you are wrong on this.

If a yoruba woman marries a sokoto man, she is still a yoruba woman.

If Okonjo Iweala was famous for being a big time drug pusher, I doubt you'll
say she's from the SE.
Politics / Re: Who Are The Best Theree Governors by Jaylon(m): 6:35pm On Jun 04, 2009
Sam Milla:

Got my point.  A lot of Governors are doing great jobs now. The credit also goes to the President because its his administration.

You are very wrong with the bolded part of your post. The President deserves no credit for the performance of
any governor. Ever heard of separation of powers ?

Politics / Re: Governor Fashola Queried Over N36b Consultancy Contract by Jaylon(m): 11:34pm On Jun 02, 2009
babalobi:

The Democratic Peoples Alliance has queried the administration of Governor Babatunde Fashola for paying no less than N36 billion to a private company- Alpha-Beta Consultancy Limited from the internally-generated revenue of over N240 billion Lagosians paid in taxes in the last two years.

Are you the same babalobi (Prof at Ibadan) of MFM with all those prayer points online ? If so, I read your story and it
was really moving. God is good all the time !!!!

yeswecan:

Our retarded president complains of sleepless night due to power failure, yet he hasn't done anything about it.

He is too busy catering to the needs of the north; Yar'adua believes the last 8 years favored the south
heavily so his primary mission as president is to make up for the 'loss'.

While NIPP was put on hold, several power projects were approved for northern states. If i find
the web links, I will post them.
Politics / Re: Abuja’s 10-lane Road Project To Gulp N257bn[$1.7BN] by Jaylon(m): 7:58pm On May 16, 2009
I think the FG has lost priority with this. I'll rather see this $1.7b go to building more power stations.
