Yes you can do that. There are no cut and dry rules. All you need to do is present whatever information in a way that is clear and easily comprehensible to the visa officer. Also, why do you need a consent letter? I have never heard of the concept of a consent letter for an applicant older than 18 years of age. Best.
Thesoj answers my question? Is a lie. This application must be approved bcs of only dis sef. Thanks for answering.... I jst want to get dis right....since my sponsor is not related to me and I claim to av bin living with him since childhood, I felt my dad should concur too

Whatever you do, just make sure you pay tuition and/or have your sponsors transfer your study grant to your account.
I have paid my fees. My sponsor has sent 2m to my account.... Do I go ahead and apply it wait till he sends the remaining 2m making it 4m

First of all lemme acknowledge moniker @NonelikeGod. Ur source of strengthening my faith i appreciate as i have confidently claimed the next in line though my eye dy cry everyday.i have talked with @NonelikeGod outside here on chat. Her company sponsorship no be the kind sponsorship una dey do before them say i dy talk rubbish here. grin.if ur situation doesn't apply to hers, you might not be lucky.

@Jayne07 if you are less than 26yrs but not sure if it applies to 27yrs old of age you really do not need assets when submitting your application your intended program plans and edge to ur career serves as as home tie.i feel the personal assets they meant in ur last refusal was because you didn't submit your personal account statement since you said you are employed.but if you are more than 27yrs personal assets come to play in various individual situation like having a family, land docs, share cert which is equal to=home tie.Though atimes the situation varies depending on the individual.I don't think you really need land assets or share certificate if you can prove me right depending on ur age but if you have do add it cos it boasts ur home tie and how established you are in your home country etc.if ur dad is willing his lands to you lemme highlight according to the person that advised you on that, why should it be now? Which you know the present docs will carry the present date from the court if land was the assets meant by the VO which serves as home tie since u r nt Married and would look suspicious to the VO that this was done in the intention of getting Visa.you have to work smart in some areas of ur application.somethings are better said off here. But i will do you shakara in responding to ur PM because last month you allowed those moniker to shut me down when i was analytically examining and questioning ur situation to profer my assistance without kobo/pay and i was turned to a laughing material that day.@yemdogg take over and modify
Abeg na no do like dis

since you ve paid the first term fee, ur sponsor should pay money to yur account, atleast have your 10kdolls living expenses in yur account and he should state that in his sponsor letter, your dad can send 500,000 to you as co sponsor while he can declare like 1.5 for you also acknowledging your sponsors fund details for you . print the three bank statements. sponsors letter, co sponsors letter
, ur sop
My dad paid my fees, if my sponsor sends 4m to my personal account would it be ok? And would it be better my dad sends the entire 1.5 or 1.8m to my account or jst state it in his letter since his account is low?
TravelRe: Travelling To Canada Part 10 by Jayne07(f): 1:42pm On Aug 09, 2016
yemdogg:
It is quite simple.

Use your dad as sponsor.

Submit his personal statement of account and his company statement of account but ensure to get a letter from the bank stating that your dad is a signatory to the company account.

The purport of getting such letter from the bank is show or prove that your dad has unfettered access to the company account.

Except if the company account was opened in his name which I seriously doubt.
No no u don't understand. My dad doesn't own the company, he is just a member of the board of governors... And he's retired so no salary. The company belongs to a family friend and he's d one I'm using as sponsor. My dad's soa has jst abt 3m. I'm thinking of using my dad as a Co sponsor and state dat he will give me 1.8m per year, or have him send the 1.8m to my account too

For personal assets, your Dad should bequeath one of his properties to you via court affidavit as a deed of gift and you attach the asset particulars and the affidavit of bequeathals' together in your application. Attach your school fees payment receipt and bank telex copy (if available), get a letter from your dad consenting that your sponsor will be sponsoring you (also your dad must conform with the reason why your sponsor will be sponsoring you and your sponsor must state why he is sponsoring you in a court affidavit and in his letter of sponsorship. Attach your sponsor's business/school registration certificate.
Then put forward an explanation letter answering the concerns raised by VO in an eloquent manner. When Jesus Christ says yes, nobody can say no.
I submitted my schl fees receipt last time. Altho there was no letter from my dad. Now I'm going to add a letter from my dad and also submit some of his landed documents.

So the affidavit of my dad saying he's giving me some of his lands as gift is called "affidavit of bequetal"?

You must pay your school fees and the sponsor's/school account must be buoyant and you must fund your account as well.
I paid my fees thru my dad's account, got refused visa (personal assets, no relationship with sponsor and insufficient funds) so I have defered my admission till January. I'm thinking of adding my dad's soa dis time around but it's has less Dan 3m as closing balance plus he's retired so no major source of income. I asked my main sponsor(family frnd) to make a financial commitment of 4m,he has sent 2m remaining 2m. Sponsor gave me his personal bank statement with closing balance of 320m and his company(secondary school) bank statement of 10m. I don't knw what else to do
TravelRe: Travelling To Canada Part 10 by Jayne07(f): 7:01am On Aug 09, 2016
Hello house, please would it be better to the Vo if my secondary school stands as my sponsor(my dad is one of the board of governors) or the owner of the secondary school should be my sponsor (he's a family friend). Which would be better in the eye of the VO

Okay then.
Do you have reciepts of payment made during second sch till date?
Do you have pictures together? Old and present?
Can he make financial commitments before you apply?
..

Because if it's not a company that rolls over 100 of millions regularly (I mean a big one, I can google and see how big they are)
Why should he spend about 8Million in a year to make a profit of say 2million in a year.

He is your sponsor and has a company!!!! Shikena

Everything would look made up when the company is your sponsor and employer and not your parent. It removes all credibility there is in your employment situation. Hence the "personal asset" refusal reason.

You can make him your sponsor and the company as source of funds.
If you've stated that you work for his company (NOT HIM) submit a letter of introduction stating your yearly income.

Try not to write the letter of sponsorship on the same letter head that the letter of introduction is being written, you could make the former on a plain paper.
No receipts. No pictures. He can make financial commitment.... Sending 4m to my account is enuf right? He owns d uni I attended, one Institute, owns 3 big secondary schl and a primary schl amongst others. Monthly income of 10m+ atleast. He gave me his personal bank statement with closing balance of 320m and also d bank statement of the secondary school I attended. The company isn't sponsoring me, he is. I work for the uni and I submitted a letter of introduction from them stating my yearly income. Letter of intro was on d uni letter head and sponsorship letter was on the secondary schls letter head.

It's well ma.... Let your sponsor increase his or her financial base.... Let him write a comprehensive letter of sponsorship stating how much he will be committing per year or in total, also explaining clearly why he is sponsoring you and how you are related to him. Endeavour to submit your personal SOA next time also.

I wish you well.... #NeverEverGiveUp.
He swore an affidavit stating he'll give me 4m per year and I already paid my first semester fee.

that sponsorship isnt credible enough from my own point of view....

I believe even if the sponsor isnt an uncle or aunt...find a way to call them one....

I do not believe in all these employer, employee, family friend yarns... for yankee wetin b the meaning of family friend?
I don't know how I want to link it again sef. We av different surnames, from different states. But I've been living with him more Dan 10years and we both stated it in our letters. He's sponsored me thru out secondary school, gave me job after uni. Me I don't knw what to tell Vo again o.

Jayne, i am once again sorry for the delay, it is only a delay, it is not a refusal.

Michv, dminess22 and others have sufficiently addressed the issue of sponsor. however from the delay letter i observed that the vo also concluded that you wouldn't return to your country upon conclusion of your studies. I cannot state categorically why and how the VO arrived at this conclusion but i can make a calculated guess.

Indeed you submitted your pay slip/stub but am afraid the pay slip only buttresses your claim that you're employed and nothing else. your pay slip cannot be used as reliable/viable proof of your personal asset or financial asset. Flowing from the above, it is very cogent to submit other documents in addition to your pay slip in order to prove personal asset/financial asset. such documents can your statement of account, deeds of assignment of real property or sale agreement of real property either developed or not.

My point is if you have been working for a while, it is always prudent to provide relevant documents to show your personal asset/financial asset. you claimed to be working but you didn't submit your statement of account showing your accumulated savings or other relevant documents showing the property that you have acquired using your income. It would have been a different thing if you stated that you are doing a volunteer job/employment, that way the vo may not pay much attention to your assets.

When did you even finish school? when did you complete your nysc program? how long have you been working? Are you married ? Do you have kid(s)?

A lot of people on this thread always assume that since they are using a sponsor, they may not need to submit their own financial/property documents. This is a risk it shouldn't be encouraged. Every study permit application is unique and as such VOs don't have a general mechanism for determining the outcome of an application. For example; Mr A is a fresh graduate who just concluded his NYSC program and traveling to Canada to further his studies, obviously the VO wont expect so much personal asset/financial asset or even any asset at all from this applicant provided his sponsor is very buoyant. In fact if he attempts to sponsor to sponsor himself, the VO may be curious to know where he got the money from. Mr B however is working class and matured applicant who has been working for several years, No matter how buoyant Mr B's sponsor is, it is very prudent for Mr B to submit documents showing or evidencing his accumulated savings/ property he has acquired from his income.

Conclusively, it is prudent to always submit proof of financial asset/personal asset along side other documents whether or not you are using a sponsor. especially if you have been employed for a while.

For those bad belle peeps on this thread, to answer that question that has always been on your mind.............................NO, YEMDOGG IS NOT JOBLESS, I ONLY LIKE TO MAKE MEANINGFUL CONTRIBUTION WHEN IT IS REQUIRED. grin grin shocked
I started working January dis year, applied for trv April. Graduated from uni 2014, completed NYSC 2015. I'm not married, I don't av kids.

babe my input on this, get a good sponsor, relate the relationship with convincing documentry evidence, let him/her make some financial commitment atleast to convince this torchlight eyes of VOs. for personal assets,i think something is missing from experience it could be ur BANK acct statement if employment docs are in place.but you can still prove me wrong on this one if you added ur personal acct statement
I didn't submit my bank statement but I submitted 3 months pay slip. My sponsor is a family friend who I've bin living with for years and also my employer. All these was stated in The sponsorship letter
