Travel › Re: Travelling To Canada Part 9 by Jayne07(f): 1:09am On Jan 14, 2016 |
sotall: Jayne...i think you need to look inwards for what you really have a passion for. This is because, that is the only thing that will keep you going when the going gets tough. Having had a BSc. microbiology, you should by now as a matter of academic exposure and possible career prospects know where you want to be in the nearest future and how to get there.
I am particularly interested in your issue because i also did microbiology in school and also already planning my way to have a postgraduate degree in occupational health and safety in Canada. If you ask me, the major reason for choosing the course is because contrary to the opinion of your uncle, occupational health and safety cuts across many industries including health, mining, oil and gas, construction, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, e.t.c, hence the probability of getting a decent job after employment is good especially if you know your onions. Nursing is also a very lucrative course and has impressive prospects especially if you plan to stay back in Canada after your study. Hence it boils down to what you have a passion for. If you still want to opt for occupational health and safety, i would advise you also check the university of British Columbia. They have a thesis-based master as well as project-masters for PGD in the course. I am particularly interested in the project-based masters because it includes a 6 months fully paid work experience on the course. Hence, you already have experience in the field. Thanks a lot, I was looking at Lambton college, they have co-op work experience and I do love the course...but Nigerian family won't wanna hear that. Thanks tho |

By the way, stop expecting to be spoon-fed. I already pointed you to the right documents, yet it appears that you didn't look through it thoroughly. Bros pls biko visit my issue... Tnks |

gunpoint: I don't get people myself. Maybe i was not clear in my enquiry. I just want to know what a letter raising such issues to cic would achieve given the circumstances i mentioned. For the people talking about loosing my job, in a customer facing role in the bank were a letter can need to be drafted on the fly, a bank allows staff carry letterheads out so long as what ever is drafted is signed by two staff members. What i don't get is how with the fabled Canadian strictness, even if i wasn't contacted, why the bank was not contacted too? Ur story isn't straight. I feel she's mayb ur babe that u actually helped to get to Canada, she got dere and ditched u and now ur trying to bring her back to get back at her. #myOpinionTho. Either way u'd still do wateva it is u av in mind |
