Good day everyone, I just got a conditional offer letter from Teesside for mph. I want to know if Middlesbrough is a good location in terms of finding jobs, how the students there survive and also if public health is a dead end course in the UK.

Hello house,
I am about to submit my online application for the study permit.
I was told I would need a biometrics validity letter since I have previously done biometrics in 2016 and 2017. Does anyone know how or where I can get this?

Hello everyone,
Cic says we have to show proof of accommodation for the mandatory 14 days quarantine. Any advice on how to book accommodation? Is it advisable to pay for an accommodation whilst still in Nigeria?

I paid 46,500 naira thats becuase i fall into the category of age range 15 years and above.

You might not be able to get them on phone, i also found it difficult gettting them on phone maybe due to the fact most staff are working from home but they respond to e-mails.

Send an e-mail to IOM Lagos Medical Booking <iomlagosmedicalbooking@iom.int> and they will respond.

All the best.

Thank you so much, I have sent them a mail

I did mine at IOM Migration Health Assessment Center.

The medical center is at No 1 Isaac John, Ikeja and this is not far from Maryland round about. If you are entering a bus, just tell the conductor you are going to Isaac John in Ikeja. i think the next 2 bus top. you will have to drop and cross to the other side of the road into Isaac john. You will do a little bit of walking but not too long.

It is along the road and the first building you will see on that street. NOTE: If you choose to use IOM,make sure you make your payment before you go there and go with your international passport and evidence of payment and face mask. From my experience, they are fast in sending medical result to the embassy.

There is another medical center Qlife family clinic at VI which is cheaper but i can only speak of IOM.

Hope this information helps.

Thank you so much. If I may ask, how much did you pay? I just called Qlink they said fee is 35k, the next available date is 4th november and I have to book it. I tried IOM's number its switched off

With the ongoing end sars protest, is it advisable to go to alagbon for police certificate? Is alagbon the only place it can be gotten? Any other place outside Lagos?

Good evening everyone.
I'm just about collating my documents to apply for my study permit online and I would like to do upfront medicals. Does anyone know if there's any document I'm to carry along since there's no medical request from with me yet.
Also I stay in ikorodu, if anyone can direct me to the one nearest to me I would appreciate it.
I checked online and saw there are centers in ikeja and VI but I dont know what buses to enter to get there
Travel / Re: 10 Easiest Countries For Immigration by Jayne07(f): 11:17am On Oct 14, 2020

Firstly I would like to point out that this writeup was aimed at Americans, Canadians or other passport holders of developed nations I.e Europe, the Americas and Oceania regions. As some of the countries (with an exception of Canada & a few south American countries) listed, are very very difficult "for a Nigerian" or third world country nationales to immigrate to.
An example is Austria and Belgium... I literally laughed when I saw Austria as easy to, immigrate to on the writeup.

It's easier for a Rhinoceros to pass through the eye of a needle, than to immigrate to Austria as a Third world Nationale.

As for Belgium... I giggled, when I read "get a job and hold on for two weeks and you are on a pathway to... Honestly I just kept laughing. Belgium is one of the most complicated EU countries to have an immigration related inquiry, due to their tri government system... That country has three independent governments which are very autonomous and one of them happens to be far right... basically applications to the government can take a loooooooong time before a response is delivered due to administrative bottlenecks as a result of the tri government system.

As far as Europe is concerned, Germany remains the easiest route for immigration with viable immigration paths, which is still difficult but at least obtainable.

Bros abeg don't follow this your list o. grin

Apart from Germany, would you recommend any other?

Hello I'm a Conestogan.
They're 3 options for payment.
The third is Western Union business solutions.
That gives you the CBN official rate but you'd go to your bank after printing the payment instruction online.

Exactly, I have to take the printout to the bank. First bank said no more third party payment meaning all the options given by Conestoga cannot be used. I contacted the school for their direct account number and they said it's not possible. The only option the bank gave me is to buy dollar through black market and send to flywire
I have tire

Hello I'm a Conestogan.
The CIBC option is an online Credit/ debit card payment

Cibc said if my card can't pay the money at once they'll keep taking it in bits till its complete, meaning for as many times they withdraw I'll keep paying the service charge

Flywire though their rates are high. Dollars is scarse now. You dont need your bank to use flywire. You can sit at your home. All your need is your student number and ATM card

Fly wires rate is too high

Hello house, I just entered the express entry pool. I checked dependents and only my husband is listed but not my child. Did I make a mistake while filling the profile? Shouldn't dependents show both my husband and child? Anyway to correct this? I plan to relocate with both husband and child

Does your Hubby have up to 3 years experience? If you have 10 years and hubby has only 3 years, you will both have same points for work experience.

Although you're 27 and Hubby is 29, you will have the same points for Age.

The Game changer here is your Hubby's Masters degree which will earn extra 39 points compared to your Bsc.

In summary, your Hubby should be the PA if he has up to 3 years work experience.

Hubby has less than 2 years work experience. I have 4 years

Good evening house, I'm just about going into this. Hubby and I just sent our credentials to WES for evaluation and we are about booking for the ielts exams. He has a masters and he's 29, I have a bsc and I'm 27, we have one child. I've worked the longest but not under my field of study so I'm the primary applicant. I want to ask if I can go ahead and quit my job, does it affect the application?

I have said it repeatedly: family visit visas will take the grace to be granted. I am not saying it's impossible. If you reapply again with hotel booking, nothing will change. they will give new generic reasons not mentioned before.

what then would you advice

If Nigerian, CAD185 each for you and hubby (the CAD85 is for biometrics), CAD100 for baby (no biometrics). If you and or hubby have previously given biometrics to them in less than the last 10 years, you pay CAD100 each too....

is it true to pay for an online visit/tourist visa&biometrics is done in US dollars? if this is true will hubby, myself and baby be spending up to 200k naira for the visa fee and biometrics?
