[Female hysteria - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia] is good, have a look at it! https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Female_hysteria
Female hysteria was a once-common medical diagnosis, made exclusively in women, which is today no longer recognized by medical authorities as a medical disorder. Its diagnosis and treatment were routine for many hundreds of years in Western Europe. [1] Hysteria of both genders was widely discussed in the medical literature of the nineteenth century. Women considered to have it exhibited a wide array of symptoms, including faintness, nervousness, sexual desire, insomnia, fluid retention, heaviness in the abdomen, "wetness between the thighs", muscle spasm, shortness of breath, irritability, loss of appetite for food or sex, and a "tendency to cause trouble."[2] In extreme cases, the woman might be forced to enter an insane asylum or to undergo surgical hysterectomy. Female hysteria was often attributed to sexual frustration, with females being unable to reduce stress via vaginal intercourse, this led to physicians recommending private clitoral stimulation at home. Such as horseback riding. Women unable to do so on their own received relief via a genital massage from a physician, although this caused a concern in the medical community, who would invent the víbrator to do the massage for them. The vîbrator later became a commercial product, so women who had little knowledge of how their bodies work, could relieve sexual frustration at home. By the 20th century, female hysteria was a thing of the past, as vïbrators became widespread and non-sexual frustration symptoms were attributed to other problems. |

Bye. Would soaking the device in holy water help in keeping it holy? I see no reason why using it as a calculator or anything else would render it unholy. How many people can afford to buy a separate device just to install a Bible? |

I would sincerely like to know what exactly made you change your beliefs. Maybe there's some new enlightenment that can be useful to all the people that may have been motivated by your comments to become adherents. Thanks enitan2002: Each every one of us has different paths to tread, hope you will find yours. The Grail Message led me to the path of atheism, if you keep asking questions just like the message advised, you will soon find your way out of any spiritual/religious fold. made my day. lordnicklaus: Not the Bible chapters but the books of the Bible are not in chronological order. Bible translators were responsible for the present form of the Bible: Translators such as Williams Tyndale, Martin Luther, Bishop Anthanasian and so on aided in the translation of the Bible. While translating the Hebrew/Aramaic text and they found a particular text or phrase confusing, they consulted the other ancient translations such as the Septuagint and the Vulgate to verify the translation.
Below is the Complutensian Polyglot bible, the work of Jimenez de Cisneros and Alfonso de Zamora. The first compiled multi-lingual text of the Bible with the original Hebrew/Aramaic text on the left, a Latin translation in the center and a Greek translation on the right and an Aramaic translation below with an accompanying Latin translation. The Complutensian Polyglot is the source manuscript for various bible translations alongside texts such as the Textus Receptus or Received Text, Codex Sinaiticus, Biblia Sturttgartensia, Codex Syriacus, Codex Vaticanus, Erazmus Text, Leningrad Codex and Aramaic Peshitta. All are compiled bible texts.
https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/b/b0/Complutesian_Polyglot_1522.jpg/300px-Complutesian_Polyglot_1522.jpg My apologies. I meant books, not chapters My question is (just in case it wasn't clear), out of the many books and scripts written, who decided what book would make the final compilation, the Bible as it is today. Who decided what was the inspired word, what was apocryphal, what was heresy and what was not. |

lordnicklaus: Look I don't know if you are playing games. Nicaea and Constantine had nothing to do with the history of the bible. They only had something to do with the church especially The Roman Catholic church. If you think they had anything to do with the bible, then I would be glad to find out if you would be glad to explain... So far, you've stated that the Bible isn't one book and that it was written by different people over the years. You've stated that the Bible chapters do not appear in chronological order. What you've not told us is how the bible appeared in its form. Who took the decisions and how. Over to you. |

Exposure, yes, she is probably currently the most exposed Nigerian model. She is getting that, and she's got a lot already for anyone to say she's exploited. She's not even two months out of hawking and she has a house of her own. How exploited does that get? Is she using any particular skill or acquired experience? Getting a lot doesnt necessarily mean fair. It depends on what you call a lot. You need to find out about how treacherous the world of showbiz can be. |
