However there's a little problem somewhere. The author made mention of bringing other schools under existing ones as a way of reducing administrative costs. I disagree with that analysis same way I do not think returning to regionalism will help Nigeria.

Using the example of having only 10 VCs in Nigeria, the savings will still be minimal. A VC must delegate some of his duties. That means more DVCs and each of these will earn fat salaries, allowances and other perks of office.

It will be the same thing in disguise.

Sometimes, we actually don't know the power that we wield. Nairaland is the largest Nigerian forum and we have close to or a bt over a million users and even more visitors. Every four in five Nigerian knows someone that knows Nairaland.

I'm tired of hearing people talk about how bad things are in Nigeria and how Nnamdi kanu and the Biafran agitations are not the way to go without actually proffering any solutions. How about we use Nairaland as a platform to start a huge political movement that may metamorphose into a political party or not.

I'm saddened at this ugly development of ASUU's strike action.

In as much as the ASUU is trying to justify its stand on the strike by emphasizing on the meagre funding of education in Nigeria.I'd enjoin them to exhibit an enviable charismatic action by calling off this strike amidst the negotiations with FG.

As for FG,I'm bittered at their late reaction.This Strike action has been looming for Months,Why was the VP and the Ministry of Education docile??..Why were they not proactive to engage them before it gets full-blown??
