Something was explained over the course of an interaction between 3 people, what's wrong in asking someone to read through, so that they can see the contributions and arguments of the 3 people and be able to make up their mind?

No way I'm going through the entire thread when I already got the gist. I simply left an observation and if there was a correction, a simple link would have been fine.
