Pidgin2: This is why He is sometimes called "Ancient of days", He never changes, He is not affected by time, so yes, He still uses those words, if He didn't I would be skeptical
As for His choice of words, it an assurance He gave to the brethren to build His faith, how does this affect your existence? So if we are to believe apocalypse scenarios, in this nuclear age, God will fight his wars with chariots and bows and arrows? |

In 2015, God still uses words like "behold" and after singling you out to speak to (something that a lot of people have been praying for), he chose to speak a single sentence, not telling you how to achieve world peace or anything useful but to announce himself as Lord of all flesh, something you already ought to have known?
Pray tell me, what was your diet beforehand? |

Christianity Etc › Re: Difference Between Atheism And Agnosticism by jayriginal: 9:01am On Feb 28, 2017 |
ScepticalPyrrho: why don't you check it up yourself? I don't need to my brother. I've dealt with it in the past before. Ill give you a clue though. An atheist is someone who doesn't believe . . . You seem to be equating that with "an atheist is someone who believes that there is no. . ." And that's where your error comes from. An atheist disbelieves, not that he believes in a negative. Now your definition of an agnostic is one who neither believes nor disbelieves. This is where the issue is. If he doesn't believe, he necessarily disbelieves. Disbelief doesn't mean he believes in the opposite proposition. Basically what you probably meant to say is that an agnostic is someone who neither believes in the existence of X nor believes in the non-existence of X. They are two different things and I hope you see the contrast. If a person doesn't believe, he disbelieves and that makes an agnostic an atheist. As JackBizzle used to say, an agnostic is an atheist without balls. I wouldn't go that far though but you get the point. |

greatgod2012: I can still remember the way PMB was so loved and praised in 2015 and in just two years after, see the level of insults and hatred people who were hailing him then now have towards him! That's actually not true. The 2015 elections where arguably the most divisive ever. PMB was hated by a great majority even before being sworn in. On the other hand, GEJ was the most loved leader but quickly squandered his goodwill with his rudderless and clueless style of leadership. PMB has also lost a large portion of his fan base but the point of this rejoinder is to refute the fact that PMB was widely loved. He wasnt. |

That's why a very sizeabe population of CU grad are into full/part time ministry. The problem is not that these unis are too expensive but that our economy is so bad that we can't afford it. Bro, I'm not sure of what you're saying but if after all the fees you're still saying am instead of I'm, wahala dey oh |

eleojo23: You did not answer my question.
In fact, proof reading exists because there is the tendency to make mistakes while writing.
Let's just say that the guy did not proof read what he wrote.
So we can assume that the error came from failure to proof read and not necessarily from a poor grasp of the English language/grammar. Its actually poor grammar. I can never make that kind of mistake but if I do, simple proof reading should correct that. It's a freaking banner for the sake of Zeus |
