Clementoke: Interview: We are building a Super Eagles for the future – Gernot Rohr
I look at the U-20 all the time and I have the best ones from them with me to give them motivation, the chance. I have the U-17 captain now in Salzburg, Samson Tijani. He’s going to Hartberg on loan and they are in Europe.
Daily Times: Samson Tijani reminds me of Kelechi Nwakali. He’s a fantastic midfielder but he’s faced some problems with his career but he’s settled now with Huesca in Spain. Are you looking to invite him?
Rohr: I saw him in Egypt for the U-23 qualifiers for Olympics. He’s a good player but his club career is not easy. He deserves to play more and I hope he will get more game time.
Daily Times: Ighalo joined Manchester United and it seems his retirement wasn’t at the right time? There are talks that the Super Eagles want him back? What’s the situation with Ighalo?
Rohr: At first I must say we are in touch all the time with Ighalo. We are very close. I understood that he wanted to stop because after the World Cup it wasn’t easy for him and I was even criticised for inviting him again.
Lots of people didn’t want to see him again but now many want to see him again. We will see. He’s a wonderful player. We have Dessers now and he’s playing a good role in Genk, scoring again with Onuachu. Ighalo is experienced and his influence to the team could be very important.
He can play together with a young one in a 4-4-2. All is possible. When you have great players you have to adapt your system to the quality of your opponent and quality of the players. We can have two wonderful goal scorers.
The moment has not come yet to go into details but I know he loves his country, he’s a wonderful goal scorer, playing good games at Man Utd but all is possible with him. Coach wey sabi |

komekn: Last season in the Bundesliga with reference to a particular players is not a generalistic statement.
I can say Lukaku last season in the EPL was very good, does that automatically mean 2019/20.
Simplistic English comprehension is complicated for some people to understand. Stop trying to dribble your way out of this Mane 18 goals from 35 goals in the EPL.
Almost lmost retired Robben 5 goals from 12 games last season in Bundesliga.
Chukwueze 3 goals from 37 games in La Liga.
Stating facts may be EXCRUCIATINGLY PAINFUL for you but not for meYou made mention of chuks stats for last season as well as mane's But when it comes to Robben, we are suppose to deduce you meant his last season... That your post reeks of lots of grammatical errors.. I don't think you expect anyone to understand the bolded above Own up that you goofed. |

komekn: Your negative prejudice has so befuddled your sense of reasoning. You seem unable to comprehend the common English. The term last season is qualified by the words, "in Bundesliga".
Let me quote myself verbatim "Almost retired Robben 5 goals from 12 games last season in Bundesliga" Which is 2018/19.
But like a red flag to an angry bull you just cannot restrain yourself. Last season was 2019/2020 sir Robben was not part of the Bayern team last season 2018/2019 was 2 seasons ago Issa simple Sturv |

komekn: Leicester city got beat by League 2 Newport in the FA cup did that make Newport a better team.
MK Dons then in league one beat Manchester United well actually flogged them did that make them a better team.
AFC Wimbledon beat West Ham 4-2 last year did that make them a better team.
In a single leg cup game if you don't play well you loose. You do not get the opportunity to correct your mistakes and recover.
City lost the game from a very dubious offside foul goal and a very uncharacteristic goal keeping error. But all that, does not cover the fact City played poorly and had their strategy very wrong.
Lyon won the game. So where is the argument? On the night, lyon were better Q.E.D |

Pep's transfer spend:
€383m at Barça (4 seasons) €204.4m at Bayern (3 seasons) €841.1m at MCFC (4 seasons)
Total = €1.429 BILLION in 11 seasons
As of now, Pep since 2011 has spent €1.105 BILLION with Barça, Bayern & Man City without winning a Champions League! #UCL https:///Jvt4ICO0gz #E be things |

TheGoodJoe: From my view, I will call a penalty but it was clear Cornet went down on his own not because of the foul. But, my take was a foul. But, they did not go to VAR for that.
In this case, they went to VAR, saw the foul and refused to chalk off the goal. Well, i guess it's a Tooth for a Tooth I'm more concerned about the Offside call though, Ekambi jumped over the ball while running, that's interferance imo But like i said, an eye for an eye |

TheGoodJoe: Very precise.
I did not even take note of the foul but as for the offside, the player was definitely interfering with play. If the ball went in front of him, it could be allowed but stepping over the ball is offside and Dembele fouled Laporte. No two ways about it.
The fact is that if we played our normal game, this would have been a routine win. Guardiola also let us down.

“Surely he can’t give that!” exclaimed Steve McManaman on BT Sport commentary.
“I was very surprised the contact wasn’t given as a foul, especially as the consequences were the player who instigated that potential foul went on to score the goal. He had a material impact in that decision – so I am surprised that wasn’t given as a foul.” What about Walker's push in the 18' box against Cornet? |

komekn: They won the game, a dubious goal from a foul and offside and a huge big gaff from what has been a previously reliable goalkeeper.
However, l feel that Pep made a big mistake changed the formation and played very negative. He should have had Foden, Sylva, and Mahrez from the start.
Today Lyon won the game but did not out play or dominate City. But got a very lucky win against a better side. It happens but City played too negative. It's knock out football you can't recover in the second leg.
Now for the first time we have a French and German semi final and possibly on paper it seems it will be Bayern and PSG. However, with the number of upsets we could have a PSG vs Lyon. Lyon Won the game because they were the better team Nobody asked Sterling to goofed Or Gabriel to take the Tammy's challenge serious Or for Ederson to turn into prime Karius Lyon for the first 30 minutes were better and also after Man city equalized, Lyon came out to play Football is not all about possession mbok Put the ball in d fucking net |

Cardiff with their physicality, kick and rush, do or die football will completely DESTROY Huesca any day any place. It's not a debate.

komekn: If l engage you in this nonsensical proposition it may seem their is substance to what you present.
The most expensive player in Leganes team that they bought was Omeruo for €5 million. That in itself tells you a story.
With the money they have spent they will struggle to compete in English League one.
Segunda is not on the same level of the Championship. Tell me one team Huesca will beat in the Championship.
I will implore you to look at the entire budget of the Segunda División and look at just the budget of Fulham FC. That should tell anybody with any half level of understanding the level of the Segunda. Can we compare the budget of Westham to Sevilla as well? Or Aston Villa's spending of the last season to Villarreal? But we all know which teams are better The amount a club spend is not a direct reflection of it's quality sir And Huesca can beat alot of championship clubs abeg Is it Cardiff with their hit and insha allah abi wetin? |
