Hi, sorry for not being around since.I was busy at work. Finally with the help of a friend and i we both nail NILSAT on Wednesday 25th of Nov. George could u tell me how i can use DSTV direction to determine other dish position. Thanks u.

Your question is not clear. Do u mean sharing one dish and one decoder. OR You want them to share from ur dish with their own Decoder.

Any way this diagram may be of help, it may be through LNB (with Multi mouth) or Multi switch

Long time, though many discussions here may sound irrelevant to some people, yet to others a lesson to learn from.

In my own case, George told me to motorise my 2.4m dish, instead of having 4-5 satellite at home. Thank God i followed his advise (not yet motorised but removed other dish) if not these "BOYZ" would had visited my house (thank u George).

I only want people to learn from it. There are more informations like that, which may or partly relate to FTA, once it is mentioned here u will know the next step/ alternative way to take to prevent its.

Thank u for ur concern. I too want to contribute to discussion in the forum but all the installations i shd have done are still pending. One other factor is that i go home once in a week cos of transportion fare/ distance (Ogun- Lagos state).

Reason why i chose December is that all company would close, then i would be at home for at least two weeks.

Long time,am still on it i neva install the dish. Am still waiting those guys to stop their operations they come both in the day n night .They believe owning satellite dish means u are a big man and use this to target their victims.

So for had not done any installation i dont want to send / ask questions for now. May be during December holiday i could do that (everything is set )

Let me advice u on this issue,this very marketer came to our office at Apapa, to market this antenna. The sold it for N3000, the've been selling this antenna before i got there. Immediately i got there i asked one of the sale representatives to shed more light on the product, after all bla-bla. I called him to one corner to inform him that am an installer n there was no way it could work.
He immediately begged me not to spoil his day. And i left him alone.
Pls dont fall prey to this, they are fraudstars.

Bros, without inveter how do u want people to enjoy FTA channels. People like me, i go home once in 7 days. By the time i got home there would be no lite,within me i continue to ask myself what other alternative do i have.

I must tell u that i have inverter at home but i never for one day think of using it. As my speaker (George_D) made mention of it my mind striked, i immediately tought of buying 100Ah battery for my Starmark Inverter to enjoy FTA channels.

I think without discussing inverter in this forum FTA of a thing is yet to complete.

My honourable Speaker,where did u keep ur phone, even on Sunday afternoon till this morning it wasnt going.

I called on Senate President Twinstaiye to rescue me but he did not know the T.P's off hand. To track W3 i used 10976 V 3333. All yeilded no result (although i used 90cm)

What could be the problem?

What a good motivator, thank u for all ur effort and words of encouragement u give all on this thread. I will make preparation for that, may be against December when i beleive we would be on break.

Nailing at least three bird on saturday is paramount now, my preparation is as if am about writing ICAN exam (I wish myself good luck)

Amen, thank u for ur advice. Had ealier planned for that but a friend of mine discourged me from motorising my dish.

He said if i do, i may not get some of the Aljazeera sport channels, also that the jack or something may got burnt which may force me to remove it.

My honourable for being the one of the most respected instructor in this forum, i would like u to advise me on whether to motorise or not.

Oga taiye, did u see my post. Am sure u did, can i count on u for tutorial before this friday. I need ur words b4 i emback on installation of my 1.2m strong dish.

As for my 2.4m i prefer to do that some other time. Reason for that, is that the NIGHT BOYZ are now on operation in my area n i dont want what will attract them to my house cos if i continue on installing it, i would have total of 4 - 5 dish in my house (60cm,80cm,90cm,1.2m,2.4m).

Seen the first three dish, people kept on asking if i wanted to show match, this made me to suspend installation of my 2.4m till december.

And how should LNB, be best fit. Is it to the right or to the left?

Let me come in at this point, this is what i know best.

I got mine at Oshiodi last two weeks, though i encountered problems due to my friends there they told me they way i can get the original stong decoder.

Step 1: Watch out for www.strong-technologies.com at the tail end of the carton. For the fake no website is written on the carton.

Step 2: On the card slot door u will see strong logo and strong written on the door while on the fake u will see it on the left hand side.DVBand disq logo is the down edge of the door

Step 3: STR 4663x is written at the top edge of left hand side and PVR is at the bottom.

Step 4: If u are confused u can use ur best of judgement by turning the receiver upside down then look through the air space on the cover to check the colour of the panel. Generally the panel colour must be green. if it is green is too greenish (that is fake), when it is faint or light green u are at the right shop, u can buy.
