Oyetboy:Ugly? I am yet to see the ugliness. Send a picture of the phone you used in commenting let me see. Mchewww. |
Replying from a BOOM J7. I agree, no doubt. Without breaking the bank, I have this lovely phone and my music experience has been top notch. But I guard my earphones that came with it jealously sha! I no wan loss am |
And when my HTC screen broke, I was asked to send it to Dubai. To Warranty cover for me. Don't even get me started about Samsung. Mcheww!! lative: |
I know some people are wondering why Tecno made the WinPad 10 and then used Windows Operating system and an Intel chipset. In this interview that is posted online, an Intel staff, Tecno Staff and Microsoft Staff answered the question and added some more details. There is an interview online about the WinPad 10. You might have missed it. Catch up with it online here: https://soundcloud.com/jesseoguns/winpad10-highlight

JumiaOnline:The tablet already debuted. It is available in the market right now for N57,000 in some markets. See what the tablet/PC can do and why it was made. https://twitter.com/JesseOguns/status/617257082765635584 |
Olarewajub:This thing is more than a tablet--It is a Tablet when you need one and a PC when you need it. I have one on my desk now and I can tell you, it is a sweet spot, for the price it is being sold for. You get One year of Office 365 Free 60 Minutes of Free Skype Call it is 32 GB of ROM, 2 GB of RAM, doesn't make calls, but allows one to use SIM and use mobile internet data Etisalat and Airtel are bundling some data bundle with the device. You should go to a Tecno retail outlet to play with one to see that this is not just talk, it is a device well thought out and born out of a partnership between Tecno, Intel and Microsoft. |
I am planning to be there. I got a ticket for myself already. ![]() I can't wait. |
donhils:N24,000 or N24,500. Depending on the store you are buying from. See it here for N23,400 http:///tecno-boom-j7-1643584 |
Amaechi5:No. But I bought it from Konga and got a bonus Tecno power bank |
P11:The phone is cool and just at the right price. I almost can't believe it is the only phone I am using right now. |
For me Tecno has come a long way. From the time when they were called Chinese phones that make imitation of Nokia and BlackBerry to this point where Phantom Z made a cool impact in the market. They launched the BOOM J7 in April and the phone in their words “is a music phone”. It has a dedicated app developed by Tecno called the BOOM Player which is cloud based, working just like Spotify and Spinlet – You can stream your music from the cloud, play your locally stored music through the app and you could also download music from the BOOM Player to your phone to play when there is no Internet connection. http://livinginlekki.com/2015/06/09/a-day-on-the-road-tecno-boom-j7-in-lekki/

Zukoslim:Fall hand kwa? There are 4 things that makes the BOOM J7 Stand out! 1. The Double Power Amplifier -- A mid range phone with superior sound quality from the loud speakers and the headphone that comes with it. I have one with me. 2. All Metal Hi-Fi Earphones --the metal material used in the earphone ensures that the sound that booms out from it is not interfered with and is super rich. 3. BOOM Player -- BOOM Player brings to you Nigerian and foreign music. You can stream and download to your phone amongst the over 2,000 songs and growing--more contents will be added going forward. BOOM Player is exclusive to BOOM J7 for now. 4. Smart Touch --although the smart touch is a signature of Tecno and is present in previous Tecno phones. It is also present here. Finally, you do not have to break the bank to get a TECNO BOOM J7. It is N24,000 and the 2020 mAh battery capacity delivers excellently, coming with Power Saving Mode and Ultra Power Saving mode to allow your battery to last longer. What else can I ask for. #ItsBoomTime |
MaestroLB:I'm thinking, even if no one is trying it, this proves to the fact that the phone is a strong and durable phone. ![]() |
There a lot of thing I know the Tecno smartphones can do, hitting a nail into the wood is not one of them. In this video on Youtube, a Tecno BOOM J7 is used to drive a nail into the wood. Looks like a gimmick, but look closely, you'll see it really happened. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ne0cUeCqQOo I also saw a different one on someone else's Instagram Page: https://instagram.com/p/3ciuijEdBD/?taken-by=knewkeed

Iamfrank:This is me when I want to go to bed and I pick up my Kindle reader. I don't read for more than 10 mins and I sleep off. Best thing is to try to not read on the bed, get a reading table and share. |
handsomeclouds:I have a TECNO BOOM J7 now--I do not have to break the bank before getting it. I got it at N23,500 at 3CHub. I don't have to break my bank account to buy a phone. There is a 12+1 months warranty on the phone. I am going to make sure I use it. I am also glad that the TECNO logo is not displayed blatantly in front of the phone. |
Assuming you shared what you did after your phone developed fault, that would have justified you. Did you visit their Carlcare Centre? I have been a long time iPhone user, I have owned all the iPhones except the origainla iPhone, iPhone 3/3GS and iPhone 6. iPhone have issues at times and you are free to take them to the repair centre. What did you do after you had the issue with the phone? Matttthew: |

Samsung Mobile Nigeria called me a few days back and handed me a review unit of the Samsung GALAXY Tend Lite to examine. The Trend Lite is an Android phone with very basic specifications with impressive battery life. The phone is available for sale in the market for N15,000 in NIgeria. What has my experience been with the phone? Read: http:///XSgOlh |
I know some folks say for the kids. I don't even know how I feel about kids. I do not have one of my own, yet, but I enjoy playing with kids of other people. irishCream: |
I have observed that some people decide to get married in order to cure loneliness. I am sorry to burst it, there are married people that are still lonely together. Before you choose to spend the rest of your life with someone, it is important that you already enjoy your own company; the person end up being a complement of you. Even in marriage, there are times when your mate wants to be left alone. Everyone needs to have specific interests and a solution to cure their own loneliness. Know this for sure, you can not make someone do anything, you can only decide what you'll do and how you'll respond to a situation. If you choose to marry, it is a great thing. If you choose to remain single, you have committed no wrong, although, you'll have to contend with your African parents that might not be happy with you. |
I held the phone in my hand briefly this afternoon. I'm impressed. I have used the Tecno T3 and other non-Android Tecno phones. The T3 was buggy and lag y. On the other hand, the N3 is smoother, cleaner and speedier. I can't wait to devour it and do a full review of the device. It feels like it's on ICS, though it is on Gingerbread. It'll be launched to the market before the end of the year. Watch out for some solid apps being shipped along with it, like http://spinlet.com. |
Lol. It's a fashion statement then. |
Mail to ask me for the photos. I can't upload photos from my mobile. I'll upload photos when I get to my MacBook. |

Billyonaire: Apple never invented those. But they patented it, and that's all that matters. Before you eat me raw, I am not an Apple fan. Am a great fan of Samsung. This is the meat of the debate. We can all go home now. APPLE PATENTED IT, that's all. You can blame the patent system. At least Apple lost in Japan, they lost to Samsung. |
It is a month old and still crisp as new. All accessories intact. If you are serious get in touch with me - jesse dot femi AT gmail dot com |
If battery life, chatting and internet is all you want--assuming you are not into games--the Nokia E71 or Nokia E5 is your best. With Opera mini, you can get a superb browsing experience. However, If you are a gamer also, go for Nokia 701 or Nokia 603--assuming you don't mind touch screen device. [The Nokia e71 and e5, but have physical QWERTY keypads The best of both worlds will be Nokia E6--a combination of touch screen and physical QWERTY. The only problem is that the resolution of the Nokia E6 is low, some high resolution apps may not work. With the new Belle update, the battery last long. |
