The other time it was was between a former minister/politician (who is supposed to be a democrat) and a journalist. What is really happening in this country? |
The most important thing is who I am in Christ. It doesn't matter what the world say or think of me as an African, as long as I'm precious in the sight of my God who created me (fearfully and wonderfully) in His image, I'm cool. |
Hmmm see bad belle o. Real definition of pull him down syndrome. |
Violence has now become the order of the day. The other day it was a nation's president and his deputy. People are no longer keeping their cool again. What is going on? |
Na wa o. Oil price is definitely going to drop. Recession is looming. |
CAPSLOCKED:Somebody like this dude would have laughed at David and got himself into trouble when David scattered ground. Do you know the kind of Dance David did? |
For me what matters in this argument of type of dance and song is the content of your heart/mind. Are you truly offering the dance and song to the glory of God and the edification of the church? I believe that if we don't see anything wrong in doing traditional styles of dance and song in the church then nothing is wrong with break dance and rap. If we all sing reggae (a genre that belongs to the Igbo - smoking Rastafarians) in gospel lyrics and dance to such songs in 'Bob Marley style', then nothing is wrong with rap and break dance. A pastor once said something that changed my perspective on issues like this. He said "there is nothing like gospel song, what we have is gospel lyrics". This means that it is the lyrics (wordings) in the song that decides whether it belongs to the church; not the genre or style. |
I'm still looking forward to that time when a Nigerian politician will leave office and start a business and get himself and his people employed. |
Hmmm Illegal entry, when Togo and Benin people are strolling in and out of Nigeria someone walking between his kitchen and dining room. |

That girl is still a baby. She doesn't know anything about life, same for love and relationship. Let her go immediately. It's her type that will prefer a wire-wire guy simply because he carries laptop about and money is flowing in. |
The curve has started sloping downwards. It's a natural phenomenon: what goes up must come down. |
We only sit and criticize this show only when it is being aired. Once the show is over no body talks about it again. Even when they are preparing to start a new edition, nobody takes any step to stop it, but once we start watching it and the buzz takes over, then we start talking about it's effect on the society. Let the truth be told, only the government through NBC and other relevant agencies has the right to stop or effect changes in the show. But as long as they are collecting revenue from the organizers of the show, nothing is gonna happen. |
emmybiz:As long as you can verify up to that level, you can't be limited. Their verification is not too stringent like Luno. Just try it, at least you ain't paying any money to sign up or verify. |
