It can buy food-but tithing was never used for the Church to collect money, and if you are strong in obeying the laws on tithing at least you should obey the laws God gave to the Jews. Malcahi 3 bring all your tithes into the store house-so next time you pay your tithes give to your storehouse a can of soup at least, someone could have a full belly today..

This is what happens when children pick up the Bible to interpret.

Which church get store houses?

When has all the tithe become foodstuf?

Are banks not store houses for keeping money?

Where do all the tithe translate to food. And can't money be used to buy food? And can't food be converted to money?

You just added food to your scripture. If your a Christian, you should know the consequence

Non tither's are not against tithing-we are against you who tithe out of scripture, today's tithing is un-biblical.
If you chose to tithe at least do it the way the bible tells you to tithe, the law on tithing was given to the Jews.

Malcahi 3 bring all your tithes into the storehouse that there maybe food in my house.

Please explain the Bible way of tithing

When he was President did we not import fuel and sell crude oil?

If he could not do it then that he had absolute power, what make you think he can now that he will have limited powers?

Your question is basically a "red herring", the premise of my posts is that the story is in itself allegorical. Whether you would have to catch One fish or Two to obtain the coin is irrelevant, don't you think ?

I maintain is real story. When you talk about allegory, everything in the story represent something. But in your explanation, many players in the story were missing.

Former FCT Minister and Kaduna APC Governorship candidate, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai says only a brainless person will doubt that a man who served as a General in the Nigeria army has no certificate. He said this at the APC Youth Forum in Lagos yesterday March 12th
"I will not talk about the certificate because that is brainless. Only someone without a brain will say that a person that has enrolled as an officer in the Nigerian army and rose to the ranks of General doesn't have the equivalent of an O'Level certificate" he said.

http://crunchevents..com/2015/03/only-brainless-person-will-say-army.html?m=1

There are many brainless people claiming to have brain and want our class who ask question to swallow their brainless statement.

If you can't confidently produce your certificate as a public servant, you have non. You don't need microphone to tell us your daft.
Politics / Re: My Worries About Gen. Muhammadu Buhari by jdilight(m): 3:13pm On Mar 14, 2015
KazeemDiary:
MY WORRIES.

Yes, continuity in government has to do with inheriting both assets and liabilities, but I am worried that the Gen. Muhammadu Buhari led government will inherit decayed assets & monumental liabilities, if the mischievous moves of the PDP to rig President Jonathan back to office fails.

To mention a few.

GMB will inherit the ongoing dastard activities of the dreaded terrorist group, that has ransacked communities and killed thousand of Nigerians.

GMB led government will inherit the alarming rate of unemployment and abject poverty, which has promoted criminality in the past 16years of the PDP rule.

GMB led government will inherit the erratic nature of power supply, which has made notable indigenous and multinational companies leave the country, and also affecting small and medium scale businesses.

GMB led government will inherit a nearly collapsed Banking sector, battered Security Exchange Commission and a Nigerian Stock Exchange in shambles, where the value of stocks is nothing to write about.

GMB led government will inherit decayed refineries and a militants monitored oil pipelines, where rate of production is below 10 on a scale of 100 and an inevitable militants orchestrated monumental post election damages.

GMB led government will inherit decayed educational facilities, after the incumbent administration claimed to have constructed 13 tertiary institutions while existing ones remain underfunded.

GMB led government will inherit dilapidated roads, after the incumbent administration claimed to have constructed over 25,000km of roads across the Nigerian state.

GMB led government will inherit a poor functioning Aviation Industry with decayed airport infrastructures, and where financial misappropriation is the order of the day.

GMB led government will inherit a low produced Agricultural sector, where over N6B was spent to procure mobile phones for Farmers and another billions was event to provide farmers with fertilizer, this has not reduced the price of food stuffs, instead there is a continual increase.

GMB led government will inherit the ongoing ethnographic and religious sentiments which is capable of pushing our country into extinction, as promoted by the incumbent administration.

GMB led government will inherit a politicized Judicial system and a corrupt Armed forces, a product of the incumbent administration.

GMB led government will inherit a battered image of our heritage before the international community and a weak Naira.

Mark my words, Nigerians will suffer like never before, if President Jonathan is rigged back to office.

@KazeemDiary

Did Gem inherited any of the above problems or did he created them?

Meanwhile, Buhari will not near that sit.

It happened this week when I went to UI for a particular registration, I went to one of the offices to see someone, on getting there i saw lots of calendars bn squeezed, rumpled on the floor, while some new ones still remained, I listened to the conversation among the workers, (hatred for GEJ in their voice could be heard) i asked for a copy of the calendar, which I got.

Eye witness among them said the guru Maraji boys came as early as 6:30am to distribute the calenders

What bothers me about this Jonathan campaign is has his desperation gotten to gist extent?

Satguru maharaji that calls himself God. Is he the one Jonathan has distributed part of the 21billion to as well, those this make any sense at all.

I think you miss my point. If we assume the story was factual (which it isn’t) then Peter was commanded to “take the first fish he caught...” and retrieve a coin, this he could have accomplished by angling with a line and hook or a net, the method of catching the fish is largely irrelevant.

When Jesus allegedly tells Peter and Andrew he will make them Fishers of men, do you assume they then went off and literally started dragging people out of the sea of Galillee ? Of course not It is of course a “figurative” fishing, the same applies in the story of the coin in the mouth of the fish.

What gave you the impression if Jesus tell you to go get a coin from a fish that you will have to catch two fishes to get the coin?

It is better for a man to die for something than to live for nothing!!!
I will gladly lay down my life for a noble course!

But rust me, Nigeria is not worth it!

I have taken a careful look at Nigeria and I can tell you that as a result of different and extreme and value systems, we are really in a jinxed situation.

I prefer to lead a group of lambs, teach and nurture them to their full potentials that to lead a a mixture of

Lamb, goat, lion, zebra, snake, tiger, etc,

When you face the snake not to bite the lamb, by the time you turn, the lion may have eaten the goat.

We have no national ideologies!
That is why a great man like Fashola can vomit this obscenities and some people are clapping for him!

You can take the horse to the River but you cant force it to drink!
If Jonathan is treated this way even for this great idea of Almajeri schools, you then can imagine how they will react if some us that a re more radical comes up with our ideas.

If we must be a great nation we must over look the insult of those who want the I'll of this nation and contribute our quota to her.

You should not chicken out in the face of great opposition. You have what the people are crying for.

Thanks for your recommendations!

But honestly, I do not have what it takes to lead a nation like Nigeria!

You think I will be the President and a child who scored 69% is denied admission while the one that scored 1% is offered the same admission?
You think I swallow it, if secondary school students attack and murder their teacher because she seized the copy of the Koran used by one of them to cheat in an exam?

You think I can take it, when Kano state has Islamic Police and then turn around to oppose true federalism?

Do you think I can take when they destroy liquor up north but then turn around to take share from taxes for the sales of liquor in the south?

Will I be there and accept this educational system that robs us off our creativity and give us mere papers called certificates?
I make bold to say that Africa is backward today because our education has been reduced to the learning of English Language and definitions.

Will I be there and allow food importations?
God knows I will ban importation for all kinds of food!
If we cant produce our own food, then let us die of hunger.

I am student of Paul of Tarsus, "If any man will not work, let him not eat" Says Paul

We sell our natural resources to import this and that. We even sell them to buy arms to kill one another.

You think I sit comfortably there, when our so called Leaders are talking about Igbo Presidency, Turn of the North, Yoruba this, Ijaw that, etc.

Will I make appointments by quota instead of the best qualified?

Bros, I don't have the temperament!

In my world, we either agree to work together and do it or nothing at all.
We have a nation where we cant agree and accept one another, yet we insist we must be together.

Honestly, I hate the day Mr. Luggard set his foot on African soil!

This is the reason your the best man for the job. But you need to add one more thing. Will you be ready to die in other to create a great nation?

Your Excellency!

Your name rang bells to my ears each time I hear it.
The tales of your performance in Lagos crosses the shores of Nigeria.
To some extent sir, your name even came up several times as a presidential hopeful (but this is Nigeria, you are not from "catchment area"wink.

In the midsts of touts like Amechi, liars like Lai, "lords" like Tinubu, and tyrants like Buhari, I still listened to you with attention and wished you belonged to the camp of real progressives.

You do make sense almost each time you speak!

However Sir, your recent comment about Jonathan an the Almajeri schools is kill joy!
You have destroyed what ever admiration and respect some of us have for you.

I knew that this is politics and you must to all you can for you party to win.
If you use the inability of Mrs Jonathan to speak Queens English (I don't speak it myself), I can understand.
If you accuse Jonathan of being responsible for the misrule of the PDP from 1999 (incidentally, OBJ and Atiku are now in your camp),or I can understand.
IF you accuse Jonathan of looting N30 Trillion (As mentioned by Soludo, though I am aware that he annual National budget never crossed N5 Trillion), I can still understand.
If you shout that one Dollar is now pursuing N500, I can also understand.

I can go on and on....but I am sure you have got my drift.

But to speak against one of the greatest silent Revolution of Jonathan's administration (The invention and Implementation of Almajeri Schools) is not only mischievous but insensitive as well.

The average Northern Moslems lock up their daughters in the bedroom and covered their faces, while their sons are sent out to the streets with plates ( a practice inherited from some primitive teachings in the name of God).

The average Northern Moslem leaders saw nothing wrong with the practice:
Great names like Buhari, IBB, Abdusalami, Atiku, Shagari, Balarebe Musa, El Rufai, Lawal Kaita, Ango Abdullahi, Adamu Chiroma, and the rest of their great leaders, both present and past, never bothered, never cared.

Even Yaradua never bothered..

Education is the right of every human! While the children of the elites like Buhari are schooling in London (we all know how poor he is, else his children might be studying in the moon and not any where near the earth), the Almajeri's are left on the streets, without hope.

Those are are the easy recruits for Islamic violence in the north! They are the easy prey of predators like Boko Haram Jihardists.

Enters Jonathan!

Even if he only dropped the idea, that would have still be great toward solving the problems created by primitive religious ideologies in the North. Yet, he went ahead to implemented such!

If not for any other reason, that these kids have something else to occupy their minds instead of hearing that "Boko is Haran"!
That is a step in the right direction!!!

Fashola, how dare you!!!
How dare you open your mouth to speak against this great idea from a great mind??
Must you allow your mind to be twisted just in the name of "Opposition"?

What is exactly the change you folks are talking about?
IF building schools for the Almajeris is not a change, please sir, what is change?

I dare to say,

Shame on you!
Shame on the APC
and shame to all who support this deceit!

cheers to all.

When true patriots speak the nation rejoice. Your among the few men the nation are looking for to lead them to glory.

EFCC has released a statement saying that the letter which surfaced online today suggesting that President Jonathan had ordered the agency to probe the financial operations of APC leaders, is fake. Statement from the agency below and a picture showing the difference between a real document from the agency and the fake one above..
"The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, wishes to alert the public about a letter supposedly from the office of the Chief of Staff to President Goodluck Jonathan, mandating the Commission to initiate discreet investigation against some prominent political figures in the country.
The commission urges the public to discountenance the said letter as it is forged document, intended to mislead the people.

The features of the letter are markedly different from that on a genuine letter from the office of the Chief of Staff to the president.

As evidence that this is a clear forgery, we reproduce below the fake letter alongside a copy of an authentic letter from the same office.
