Hehe... I think this thread needs to hit front-page again to expose guesswork artists masquerading like they've heard prophecies.... All being said, people like this ( @grewlaw and @drlivelogic ) have wrecked more havoc to the Church then the so-called unbelievers... @lalasticlala |
Just imagine...and a police man is standing next to him laughing... |
Ruben225571:Let me ask you.... when you bought ada at 1.3, what did you have in mind? Did you think it will really non-stop because you bought? When you bought at 1.3, what was your plan should it continue dipping to 1.2? Crypt0 is a highly volatile market,if everyone comes here to moan anytime there's a 8% rally or dip in the market, we'd not have enough pages on NL... That's why I advised you to leave crypt0 to avoid future tears... Cos ada may fall to 1 and you'd truly well lose 30% of your funds |
Ruben225571:First, you sound confused.... If you bought at 1.3, ada will need to fall to 1 for you to be down 30%. A drop to 1.2 is 10%. Secondly, ada has clearly outlined support and resistance zones.... It's sensible to only buy at support. Lastly, you sound too desperate and seems you're looking for some quick money... You're more likely to lose money trading crypt0 that way. My advice would be to sell your ada as it is and leave crypt0 |
Taystee:If I'm looking to catch dips for a small rally up, I prefer to buy when there's confluence across board... i.e bitc0in and certain majors are at support....e.g this am when ada fell to 1.2 |
Ruben225571:At what price did u buy ada?? |
Taystee:Hehe..... I never see this kind stop b4.... Why 30,996?. |
Innoxxacs:Not really... Or is it liquidity zones you mean? |
Innoxxacs:U can post the link when it's on YouTube...... Not so sure about alyts though... Alot look broken on HTF's. It'd take sometime for a sustained recovery on them |
jedisco:One thing I find concerning is eith..... It's shown weakness on this rally..... It's broken down from a significant daily support and it's now retesting it... Two things I'm looking at... Scenario B which is a reclaim and flip of the trendline. This would be a good bullish sign... Scenario A would be to confirm the area as resistance and then a dump... Obviously, if eith starts dumping, alyts wouldn't keep up... All-in-all.. lots of majors are at resistance... Not the optimal time to FOMO in my opinion
|
jedisco:Bitc0in now at upper resistance... And a number of aylts have hit resistance also..... Not sure what happens next, but if you caught the wave up, this zone might be a good time to take profits or put stops On betece... 3 options I'm looking st here are... A flip of the 4hr ema and breakout above 36k... a retrace to retest 30k before a bounce and lastly perhaps the much awaited capitulation... Personally, I'm leaning towards a retest of 32-30k... Eitherway, I'm ok with whatever plays out
|
jedisco:Still on this.... Ada has been one of my favourite coyns and it's obvious why... Nice bounce at 1 dolls...proper flip of 1.2 dols and rally to 1.4..... Ive come to see that one is more likely to be successful in this market trading a few coyns than holding a hoarde of coyns and hoping for one to 'blow'... Know you coyns, know their levels against betece and eith and your workload is reduced...
|
JIBO4REAL:No vex... would rather we keep discussions here |
prince3009:Trading view |
OpenHeaven2019:Hehe... This market can be tricky sometimes... Bitc0in always has a way of doing what the majority don't expect it to do... When the capitulation to 3k occured, most were shoked as they thought 6k would hold as it had held for so long... Sometimes, that kind of capitulation is good to reset a market and hasten reaccumulation... Right now, the market sentiment is sort of split... Some want lower, some want higher... U get mind for your Sol... Good enough, it's one of the few alyts that are still above the weekly ema support... Undoubtedly, if bitc0in keep misbehaving, it'd break down.... Another thing is that it's a relatively new coin which has gone on a recent pump... Hence the levels against usd and betece are not as well tested... So they can capitulate From the daily chart, the significant levels are split at about 5 dollar intervals (couldn't clearly outline them on a mobile chart)... From the weekly chart major levels are at 20, 40 and 50... At these levels one would expect a reaction.....
|
Smithwilliams826:The method that I believe works for me... I focus more on support/resistance zones... Based mainly on the market sentiment.... Sometimes, I just hold... |
OpenHeaven2019:Thanks for this... Frankly speaking, I don't see why someone would sell any bitc0in they bought for less than 35k for a loss..... Worst case scenario, in some months, bitc0in rebounds. Those selling bitc0in at a loss now so they could buy lower may likely buy at same levels they sold... Of course, it's different with alyts....and unfortunately, most folks are neck deep in alyts.... One of the reasons why I want a capitulation to occur is so I can place long-term buys and relax fow a few months.... Reminds me of what happened at 6k...when bitc0in crashed to 3k... |
Logged onto NL and saw the front-page thread... Seems the FUD is worldwide...hehehe... Bitc0in still where it was 4 weeks ago It's been a brutal few weeks, yes... But na those wey dey hodl feg and safemoon I dey pity pass...... The beauty of a bear market is that no one argues what coyn controls the market... It just becomes obvious... Betece rules this market... Know this and know peace |
One of my guides in bear or slow moving market is this... I look for one or two coyns in addition to betece... Good coyns with structure...and stick with them ... Understand the levels... Know what supports are significant and less so... Know the levels against betece also..... If it starts showing weakness against betece, then its better to be in betece... Take ADA for e.g... The levels are very clear and relatively easy... 1, 1.2, 1.4, 1.6, 1.8, 2.... And it's been respecting these levels for a while.... I don't overcomplicate it either... just ride the levels.... Knowing when to buy and when to sell.. In these market conditions, 10- 20% every 1-2 weeks on a trading portfolio is very good return (if you're lucky)... Most important thing is to protect the capital so when the time comes, one can buy heavily... Against betece too (2nd chart), it's not done badly... It seems to be going to retest the weekly ema.....
|
Ibime:My brother, mk we dey push am... But no wahala.... Bear markets are stressful but sometimes relatively easier to trade... Personally, I'd prefer everything to nuke mk we start afresh |
jedisco:Nice response off the bottom of the trend line.... seems scenario B is playing out.... If thats the case, 2 points I'd be looking at for a possible rejection are the 4hr ema which is currently at 33.6k and the top of the channel which is close to 35.7k...... Eitherway, it's likely support will still be tested again BTW, sweet bounce on ada and link... Was a risky trade but support did its job.... Took profits on ada at 1.2 which is 20%... May look to re-enter lower but I wan go watch match.... Enough for today...
|
SaintUlot:No be only u... I think it's better it nukes and gets done with this rubb*sh PA But then, I'm trying to catch small knife though by trading this.. bottom of the trendline is at 29k...... I'm trading it on ada and link... Small buys at 1 on ada and 15 on link.... I believe those levels should see some reaction at least.... Very happy to cut if I dont see one
|
jedisco:Still on betece...and reason why I'm waiting... Currently, it's having have the 4th test of 30k.... There are definitely stops below these levels and wouldn't surprise me if the market goes for them Three scenarios I'm looking at; A- a bounce off this level... A sustainable rally from here without taking the lows out seems less likely to me at this stage... But then, a short squeeze to 34k ish before further selloff seems more likely B- dip below 30k to 28.5k ish and then reclaim of 30k... If this happens, I'd target an entry on a retest of 30k C- breakdown below 30k and further rejection off 30k leading to a capitulation.... This would be the most brutal... If this happens, I'd target 25k to start scaling in on long-term buys.... Still patiently waiting... Betece would usually respect structure... And as we've seen, 30k has showed it's significance... I don't want to be trapped on the wrong side of that level...
|
afroxyz:Yeah.... we know it's largely FUD... But how the market responds matters... The market responds to whatever news it likes.... No need fighting it... Same way we enjoyed the relentless good news on the rally to 60k, let's also tolerate the FUD now.... |
Levels I'm watching... On eith... 1750, 1450, 1200 Link.... 15, 12.5 Ada.... 1, 0.8.... Ada has held 1 for so long.... Below 1, it could easily get dirty.. Betece.... If it dips below 30k, there's a potential for a bounce at 28-29k... Eitherway, if a dip happens, I'd only be interested in buying from 25k below or a reclaim of 30k if it doesn't dip to low 25k... If things don't break, I'd wait for a reclaim of 33.5k -34k on betece No rush... In such conditions, having free fiat is key |
Doge monthly chart.... Chaos.... Betece rules this market... Know this and know peace
|
CryptoMatic:Yeah.... if printed on support and price still holds structure after it, then that's a good thing... Otherwise, it could be disastrous... Personally, after such, I prefer to exit and see what price does.... The second one is at 35-36k the middle of the range. A downside even to 30k is 20% already... Generally speaking, buying spot betece at low 30k isn't so much of a worry (for the long-term) even if price goes lower... Why I've been micromanaging my trade of late is simply cos I want to have good fiat if prices go below 30k to mid 20k.. If that happens, I'd buy, relax and leave the market for a while.... |
jedisco:On this.... Got my bids at 33500 (which was a daily support) filled yesterday... Level gave a good bounce before selling off..... Gladly, I had stops at 34.5k which were hit... Currently chilling in fiat and waiting...... Have small low bids on ada and link Personally, a fourth retest of 30k is not one I'm keen on. It looks like another capitulation is looming... At this stage, I think it's better it happens and we get over with this annoying PA..... Another thing I noticed on the weekly betece chart on investing..com... The charts here end on Saturdays as against others which end on Sunday... I've found it helpful in giving another market view... As attached, the weekly close last week wasn't a nice one... Reminded me of what happened at 64k....
|
jedisco:Still think a capitulation hasn't occurred on alyts yet.... Structure on them has began to break but they're just about holding.... The current daily support level on eith (2000-2180) is one to watch... It's been a significant one far back as February. If eith loses that level in the coming days, alyts will tank....that level has been tested multiple times with smaller bounces each time. Also, the daily ema (yellow line) is still acting as resistance and pushing price into it..... This is not me being bearish at support... But if trying to knife catch alyts, caution is important...
|
Ibime:Careful with matic, against betece, it's below the daily ema and though it's currently sitting on weekly support, the weekly structure doesn't look so good... If it loses the current weekly support, there's a good way down... |
I don't like the way most alyts are looking... Most are either below resistance against betece or hanging on to critical support on the usd pairs..... Except betece starts showing strength soon, looks like another capitulation is due for them.... On alyts, I'd tread carefully |
Chiagozieking:Binaz now allows some editing on their mobile charts... |
