Obinnau:For it and graph, got alerts set for previous highs... When it breaks out, I reevaluate.. Don't want to be stuck in a range |
I've spoken about Theta here and my targets... Also shared when I swapped half of my holdings into eith It's been stalling too long which I don't like... Usually, the final stages of such rallies should happen quick... Also, the last weekly close wasn't a nice one (first pic).. A bearish close with 11.8 acting as resistance.. Against eith, (2nd) it's lost critical support on the daily chart... I trade what I see and not what I want... It may still move but at this stage, I believe better ROI lies elsewhere. Don't want to be stuck in a rangeSame goes for tfuel
|
I don't chase pumps but this was why I took btt... Clean bounce off 0.7 and took out resistance at 0.75.. It's a quick one and I'm targeting 0.98-0.98
|
Notyamate:Hehe... That was a hell of an entry... Swapped some more of my eith into it at 0.094 ish.. |
Obinnau:No need chasing pumps... Can half your portfolio in minutes... Edited my post.. didn't mean a bullflag.. more of support... When riding such moves, I target bounces off a moving average with stops below, and get out once they lose it..... Can be risky but I do it for the adrenaline obviously with lil sums... On Win, it's the 3rd time it's touching that support.... With each touch, it gets weaker
|
Obinnau:Hehe... This one everybody is talking about Win and how they made profits and cashed out... That's unusual... Usually such pumps tops and leaves folks offside... Perhaps, it's not done pumping or most folks here got in early... Eitherway, it and btt are giving me ideas for a quick Sunday attach... Took a quick snipe at btt with stops in profits (risk free) Looking at win... Seems to be finding support. would target a breakout if it happens.. |
millennialaku2:FLIP: On the 1st pic. A flip is a classic way to confirm a resistance is taken... When a level has been resistance and there's a rally through, folks may be weary to get in for fear of it being a failed breakout... Coming to test that previous resistance as a support and accelerate (bounce off it) thereafter gives traders confirmation that a resistance has been taken and it's not a fakeout.... Those who trade leverage enter on a bounce and can put their stop loss below e.g 0.98 on trx. Qiuck bounce: Depends on the scenario.. but a bounce generally means a pushup in price. But then just know that buyers and sellers generally cluster around certain regions and it's at these one sees a bounce or pullback. Sweep the lows: To understand this, you need to understand the effect of leverage trading on moving the market (short term) and how traders put their stop loss. Generally, price action always wants to take out those stoploss forcing traders to close their positions... When a coyn has been stuck in a range with lots of wicks to the downside which are bought up, most traders will take positions and put their stoploss below these wicks... Sometimes, a single pullback that even dips below the range (forcing all active trades to be closed and tricking folks into thinking theres a breakdown) happens before a reclaim of the range and definite push up. This is generally bullish but bearish when it occurs in the opposite direction. Look at the last 2 pics see how price dipped b4 a rally. Most of these concepts happen everyday with price action and you can pick the trend when needed

Alexxien:I mean after crossing 0.1, the next significant resistance is at 0.2 which is x2 |
Ibeme:Hehe... Which one be this one? |
AIT1:Gracias.... It's better when we all share from our experience... Na mk we profit from the market be the main thing |
PeaceIlya:That's why I take out time to explain the reason behind my positions... But when I explain, people say I'm talking jargon. Some are looking for who to tell them buy here, sell there e.t.c as if anyone has a majic ball |
bigjay01:Hehe... Are you expecting it to go up in a straight line ![]() Currently in terms of size, Zil is not in my top 5 even though I remain bullish on it. I've put in roughly a third of what I hope to put in Zil... The rest is warehoused in eith and others.... If Zil begins to confirm my bias, then I add up at specific levels |
Alexxien:Hmmm... This is usual maths [(0.97-0.65)/0.65] x 100 |
jedisco:59k held as resistance for 4 days... Betece down to retest the 21 daily ema support.... Let's see how long it's tested. Trading betece is mostly about support and resistance. On the hourly chart (2nd pic)... Lots of stops were cleared out on this dip (blue arrows)... This market likes liquidity and generally targets such zones... The next major cluster lies around 55k... Hopefully it doesn't dip that low So far, eith is holding well... Good sign for alyts As always Between the 21 daily ema and ATH is where alyts would really party.. On dips like this, I lookout for alyts that have held structure... Cos they're be the first to recover...and bounce hard... So far, Fil, Trx and Sol have looked the most impressive.. Also a few other nice discounts
|
Too many alerts going off... This is another one I played this week... Entry was 0.65.. took profits at 0.97 (I don't like arguing with resistance). Plan was yo re-enter on a good dip or flip 1... Chart is clean, levels are clear... X2 aint bad
|
bizzibodi:No idea.. seems to be flipping the previous high into support... But not confirmed |
There's a stage the market gets to that all you have to do is allocate your portfolio accordingly and allow the market do its thing....... It wouldn't be a bad idea to already have positions or positions you're aiming to add to if a dip happens P.s I notice alot of folks getting stuck because they badly timed an entry and went all-in with their portfolio.... I'd say when playing alyts, no matter how confident you are in a position, it's good to split across a maneafable number.... I personally split my portfolio almost evenly and manage stuff as things materialise |
Nice breakout on dot... The weekly chart is interesting... Swept the lows last week and possibly stopped out golks in position before reclaiming the range and breaking out... Such breakouts are usually strong ones.... I grabbed some of this... for a quick bounce at least XRP is another one I'm watching.... I still believe it still goes parabolic this run... It seems to be forming a cup nd handle pattern on the weekly chart. A proper weekly close should confirm that.. A measured breakout should take it to 1. Eitherway, the region between 0.6 and 0.8 is a no go area for me Lot's of breakouts across board... Alyts look bullish... Eith showing strength against betece means alot for alyts in general
|
Notyamate:It's become annoying and seemingly distributive of late... Seems there are folks with large bags who just wait for his tweets to dump... I remember he once tweeted that its supply is too centralised |
Ibeme:Sure... After a strong breakout, a bit of consolidating and possibly retest of previous highs is in order.... Theta and ONE spent almost a week before finally picking up I still got low bids set |
Another chart that's got me salivating... Another breakout from the '2' level
|
Why I'm quite bullish on zil ![]() 1. Looking at the weekly chart, it's forming a pattern thats quite familiar... The intervening period of consolidation between each rally since December has been progressively shortening... First it was 6 weeks then 3 and if it sustains a breakout, this will be 2 weeks... Such buildups usually leads to a parabolic rally... I pointed out a similar buildup before the theta parabola 2. The 0.2 region corresponds to the previous ATH from 2018... Shows that level is significant... A breakout should bring a significant move to the upside The numbered regions on the 2nd chart show areas where it stalled this rally which corresponds to similar regions in 2018.. I numbered them cos of folks that think charts are useless but still want to actively trade.... Trading can be less of a hassle when one understands patterns in charts.. 3. Lastly, it's a coin that has a history of crazy pumps For take profits, I take things step by step... A measured breakout similar to previous ones should take it to tge region of 0.3... If it turns out to be a parabola...then most parabolas that start from 2 end around a particular figure.... That said, I'd likely be taking profits into betece as levels are clearer
|
Notyamate:Quite possible for it... It's decoupling from theta was surprising |
Interesting that while tfuel seems to be forming a nice takeoff structure, theta is stuck at the lows chopping banku... Perhaps its because tfuel didn't move with theta on the last run up....e fit be say dem dey fyt
|
If betece closes this way, it'd be the 4th day 59k acts as resistance.... It wouldn't surprise me it then dips to test the 21 daily ema again.... That'd cause a temporary dip in alyts but will ultimately give them more room... Let's see how the daily closes... Got some gun powder waiting
|
Notyamate:It broke out on volume and held.... Didn't accelerate but it's coming down to sweep the lows... Will be looking for an entry at low 0.19 |
iampaulsmith:I'd be looking for a re-entry around low 0.19 ish.... |
iampaulsmith:I'm really bullish on this coin.. I believe it's got the right structure to go parabolic... I'd share reasons later I had some i got on the last dip and sold my stash at 0.197 (I usually sell strong resistance, can always re-enter on a flip)... I'm now looking to reenter... An hourly close above 0.2 should do it... Moreso, this breakout occured on high volume |
For my ada folks.... Looks precarious agaist eith... Almost at a bounce or die level... Let's not forget most alyts have done really well against eith for several weeks... Not unexpected for eith to try nd take its place... An eith rally in a bull run usually has a significance to the wider market... I'm trying to see what this would mean if it continues
|
If your alyt looks like this against eith or betece... I.e lost critical support on the daily, then why hold??
|
Sunndaywillie:Not a bad idea.. but selecting the right ones at the right price is impt. Also apportioning your portfolio accordingly too... They're very volatile and higher risk |
CryptoMatic:Yeah... Bitc0in generally tends to rally higher than the general expectation and dips same way too... The potential for growth in this market is huge moreso with institutional money in... It might still take a while with lots of fresh money needed But I prefer to take things level by level (rather than stick to targets the market must hit), breakout by breakout as the higher it goes, the more volatility increases. Cos whenever it peaks whether at 100k or at 1miilion, most people will think it's still going higher and get terribly burned |
