Usmanovic95:Same way Spain won't go all out against Argentina |
ezewealth:No team in this world can comfortably and relentlessly spam attacks when Messi is playing against them. You must acknowledge him as a threat, and play with some caution. Otherwise, when you are done with your attacks, his teammates would get him the ball, and he will now show you how to "attack" . And by then, there would be very few of your teammates stopping him from showing you how to "attack" ![]() |
ezewealth:Bro, even you can't attack with your full chest against Argentina when you know that Messi is playing against you. The default mentality is caution. Even Spain....as good as they are, will still not do it on Sunday. Try it and make Messi's work easier, because I'm sure as hell that your fullbacks would also be heavily involved in that "relentless attacking" football of yours. Messi go just spell your team name with goals and assists |
emoneyrano:That was France without Olise and Pogba. They are not the same as they were four years ago. I'm a hardcore Messi fan, but I have to be honest with you...this French team is too hard to beat |
emoneyrano:Cape wetin? The reason why those ones shook Argentina is because of the Messi factor. Argentina to score goal, Messi....Argentina to create chance, Messi. As good as Messi is, what any team would normally do is to put like three players on him, and Argentina will start to suffer. It is not the same with the French. Individually and team-wise, everybody is a baller. Mbappe is just the finisher. He doesn't need to dribble past anybody for anything. Olise and the rest of the squad are putting it on a plate for him. And Dembele........abeg forget it. Only Spain is close to this team, and that's because they play a "decentralized" kind of football too. If they make Yamal their focal point, then the game is finished before it even started |
Gunayo:Where abilities ended, determination and relentlessness began. There are serious life lessons to be learnt here brother. As for Egypt, I doubt that they have the brave hearts of the Verdans |
Gunayo:It takes an extreme level of self-belief and motivation to play like the Verdans towards the end of the game. On paper and in-play, the Argentines were superior. It's evident in how they took the lead thrice during the game. But on a mental basis, the Cape Verdans had the edge. The self-belief was way too much. At a time, I began to wonder if I was actually watching Argentina v Cape Verde abi Argentina v France. Argentina won at last, but the Island nation is getting all the praises. There are serious life lessons to learn in that match. |
O boy....my heartbeat no normal again. Who no watch this match miss wetin no nice. Dem suppose cry for that person |
westside365:In a way, his negligence led to France's first goal. We know Olise is good, but at least shadow and jockey him so he doesn't see the passing lane to Mbappe that easily. Man just stood like a log of wood ![]() |
Patnome:Ismaila Sarr that has been beating Theo Hernandez and making dangerous inside-forward runs? Should be subbed because he missed a clear chance? Oga there's a science behind football substitution. Just like watching a war movie doesn't translate to having first-hand military skills needed to survive and thrive in a battle, it is not advisable to pull out legs that have already mastered the rhythm and tempo of a match....unless fatigue has really set in, or the player is having an extraordinarily bad day. Your "Ndiaye" has been subbed on, and he doesn't even know what to do with ball the few times it came to him. He doesn't know the spaces to exploit, and he isn't even helping defensively sef. Theo and Barcola are now having a field day over there. That's what happens when you listen to emotions and pull off a player who has already mastered the game's tempo |
mdgreen:First question you should ask yourself should be how such an individual was able to raise that #20m. If it is through "fast" means like gambling, lottery etc......then the idea of spending the whole funds on land and development is ok. But if it's through diligent, legit, "trust the process" means, then it's very unwise for the individual not to reinvest in a proven business that has regenerated and multiplied what he has put into it overtime. By experience I have become aware of a fact pertaining to this situation: You can never really estimate how much that house you are building is going to gulp. In fact, you are safe if you unbelievably overestimate. The reasons are not farfetched: on one hand is inflation, and on the other hand is the inclusion of state-of-the-art facilities and finishings which costs were definitely not envisaged in the original estimate. In conclusion, where funds are very limited, it's advisable that a "lion share" part of it should be devoted to reinvestment and turnovers. About 25% or 30% can use to secure ownership of the land and consequent development in cases where the latter is possible |
Dukeolumidemans:You became a biwhat? Nna misyarnings too much for this social media |
FreeSpirited:You're watching undeserved media power and the effects of crazy PR in real-time. Propaganda at its finest. They put the spotlight on who they want, and then force that person down our throat as the best to grace the game. And if you are a lazy thinker, you'd agree with them without hesitation |
plessis:I agree with you. They both are strong, and have about the same amount of aggression in them. But Osimhen is better when it comes to link-up play with teammates. Haaland by default isolates himself from everything on the pitch that doesn't have to do with the goalscoring department. The guy is just so annoying ![]() |
Imagine say na me dem dey sing im praise like this ![]() |
creolehunt:take? Then, it was still very tight. Very compact. Even the Moroccans were also cautious then. The game was locked up. Those two were not in the game, but they were not out of it either, unless you want to tell me that only 9 Super Eagles players were doing the whole man and zonal marking. Otherwise, if those two are pulled off from the field untimely, Chelle would still have to contend with a new set of problem, especially one which he didn't plan for....and his initial plan A will collapse immediately. I wonder what the new plan would be, and how fast the players would adapt to it. |
MT:Hmmmm....my brother, if that NY Judge actually means to jail those two, he'd do it on grounds that are silly and nothing will happen. And I'm certain that's what will play out. Donald Trump certainly did not take the audacious risk of abducting them and killing whichever Venezuelan force that stood in the way only to bring them to America and get them acquitted of all allegations against their persons. Maduro and his wife are goners. The court proceedings is just a matter of formalities |
BondRiv:Na the New World Policy be that |
BondRiv:The thing be like skit my brother. The jokes are way too incredible to be real. Otherwise, how do you convince someone that the rule of law was observed when one country invaded another, abducted their sitting President(someone who is covered by diplomatic immunity), took him to a foreign land and try him under foreign laws in a foreign court of law? Bastion of democracy my foot. The United Nations has truly outlived its usefulness. The best foreign policy any country in the world can pursue right now is bilateral or multilateral cooperation with other countries that respects her sovereignty and shares common interests with her. And most importantly, get nuclear assets |
IamANigerianMan:So you really expect me to tell you my business and its secrets on a public forum? Something wey dey give me my daily bread on a regular? You dey play. Try and understand the Op. Building of commercial house should be done with spare funds. If it would affect the business adversely, no put body. Las Las, run am on a one-year-one-block basis |
IamANigerianMan:Oga, you don't know me before, so I assume that you speak from a place of ignorance. The Op is right, in a way. Considering the short term, putting all that money away in building a house for rent is a waste of funds, especially where this would affect the builder's business . I'm a landlord, and I clearly understand him. The funds should be reinvested into the same business that brought the #70m in the first place in order to make more money. Personally speaking, the least I can do with that money in a year is to double it if I put it back in business. In conclusion, being a landlord of a multiple-storey building with apartments to rent out is very cool, but considering the short-term ROI,then it's not a very nice investment. |
IamANigerianMan:Are you really serious? Like getting 10% profit from that money is unachievable in a year? |
Breaking news: The tide has turned. The Naira has fallen against the dollar again |
The surest way to catch a cheat, as far as I'm concerned, is to act like you are not interested in finding out at all. There's that atmosphere of nonchalance that encourages a culprit till they make a very obvious mistake on something they should have kept secret. Do nothing, find out everything. What you wish to do next after your findings is up to you |
NairaMaster1:He didn't indicate that his question was strictly for non-students either. Besides, whatever the case, emotional maturity plays a vital role in neighborhood romance |
It depends. Mine worked successfully. In fact everyone thought we'd marry each other. But I graduated and went back home...and the distance took its toll on the relationship. The key thing here is maturity. I won't try such with someone who's clingy and too emotionally dependent. |
victorazyvictor:Not the point of singing self-praises to someone who's not worth it. What would he then do if he meet his equals? |
victorazyvictor:My issue with the Senator was that he was busy singing his praises himself to the bolt driver. That was so unnecessary. I don't know how someone can be powerful and yet be a talkative at the same time. That bolt driver acted as if he was really sent by the Senator's political enemies to piss him off and score cheap points against him. Now the driver has a video of a ranting politician who boasted that he makes people disappear without trace. This is Nigeria, and here we treat our elites with profound respect. If the driver feels that all men are equal and thus should not act beyond his job's description even when an elite is involved, then he should have avoided anything that would make him deal with an elite. He deserves a stay in the politician's gen house for at least a month. I'm sure his employers are already making plans to fire him, if they haven't done already |
MadPolitician:This response is goated. Don't mind those quasi "human rights" activists |
mrjoeblinks:Those guys are bloody cheats |
mrjoeblinks:Winning Eleven. PS2. We still dey rock am for my side |
Namaster:Even the mind wey she dey use imagine her lofty imaginations go be like "Madam why you dey stress me ![]() |
. And by then, there would be very few of your teammates stopping him from showing you how to "attack"
