This week has been really nasty. The bank portals seem to have convened a meeting and decided to misbehave more than usual this week. It now takes almost 24 hours for interbank transfers to reflect. Even their junior brothers Opay, Carbon and co have joined them.

I don't know what is happening in Nigeria.

I don't support violence. What we need to do is engage in civil disobedience. Block the roads, protest in front of the government houses, shut down intuitions etc. That is what serious people do, but alas, Nigerians are too divided to be serious about anything

Initially, I thought it was the shock of who won the Presidential elections. But by now the thing should have worn off. I expect people to demand that the government to get things back to normal again.

I don't even want to start with its effects on SME businesses in the country. Almost everyone now has an outstanding issue that takes them to the bank. The way everyone kept quiet, I initially thought everyone has found a way around the situation and I'm the only one behind. But then, I still see them come around to beg me for even as little as one #500 new note so that they can eat and feed their family. And of course they'd pay back through transfer. But as it stands now, the new notes seem to be more valuable than their equivalent in bank transfers. I now wonder why they don't employ the same energy to get this government to do the right thing.

Even in advanced countries, their currency notes are not these scarce to the populace. And the servers enabling bank/fiscal transactions are working optimally. Here, the servers have been overloaded beyond their capacity, and upgrade is not yet in sight. Yet this silly government deems it fit to cause untold hardship on its citizens. I don't even want to get started with the disregard of the Supreme Court ruling on the matter.

I don talk too much abeg. Let all responsible Nigerians rise up to the occasion and do the right thing. This government provides next to nothing for us. I don't see reasons why they would now act as obstacle to the little comfort and decency that we are trying to provide for ourselves without their help.

Guy this one shock me to the marrow. I never understand wetin dey play out. Maybe we the masses dey under the influence of very powerful juju from the high places.

3. Educationally, he met Anambra at 26th position in 2006 and left it at 1st by 2014 when he was leaving.

4. He was the only governor that met the millennium development goal in Nigeria in both education and health. In fact, Melinda and Bill Gate foundation gave him a personal gift of 1 million dollars for his achievement. Which he dropped in the state account rather than putting in his own private account.

5. He is the only former governor today that does not collect pension, gratuity, land gift and allowances since he left the govt in 2014.

6. When he became SEC chairman under President Jonathan, he told SEC to hold back all his allowance and entitlement as a Board chairman. He left without nothing. He said he does not need them.

7. When he was chairman of fidelity bank , he was entitled to two brand new cars annually. He told the board. I don't need them. Let me just come for meetings and go home.

They should have protected the authority of the Supreme Court by not getting involved in this roforofo. You don't warn someone not to do something when you don't have authority to deliver the consequences. Your judgement should be Supreme, protect ur supremacy first. Don't bark at who you cannot bite.
