I never said that Ronaldo owes Cola a duty to drink their product. It's nobody's business what anybody drinks, so far as it isn't illegal. But trying to demarket and make such a popular product lose relevance isn't to be taken lightly.

It's silly to pick a fight for the sake of it. Ronaldo's hints towards better living by avoiding cola products are commendable, but unless he has a beef with the company before and he's trying to get back at them, then his actions are just plain foolish and suicidal.

Because at the end of the day, Cola is a bigger brand than Ronaldo, and it is expected that it would outlast him both in prosperity and influence. As it stands, Ronaldo's influence would begin to wane by the time he hangs his soccer boots.
