Globad:Please, for God's sake, don't involve tribalism into this. I don't know if you're paid to cause confusion here, but please stop. The welfare of the common masses are at stake here. Let me tell you, even if God himself rules this country, if the lives of the masses are not positively affected by his reign, then his mandate is useless. This policy is wrecking people by God's sake |

Ishilove:Initially, I thought it was the shock of who won the Presidential elections. But by now the thing should have worn off. I expect people to demand that the government to get things back to normal again. I don't even want to start with its effects on SME businesses in the country. Almost everyone now has an outstanding issue that takes them to the bank. The way everyone kept quiet, I initially thought everyone has found a way around the situation and I'm the only one behind. But then, I still see them come around to beg me for even as little as one #500 new note so that they can eat and feed their family. And of course they'd pay back through transfer. But as it stands now, the new notes seem to be more valuable than their equivalent in bank transfers. I now wonder why they don't employ the same energy to get this government to do the right thing. Even in advanced countries, their currency notes are not these scarce to the populace. And the servers enabling bank/fiscal transactions are working optimally. Here, the servers have been overloaded beyond their capacity, and upgrade is not yet in sight. Yet this silly government deems it fit to cause untold hardship on its citizens. I don't even want to get started with the disregard of the Supreme Court ruling on the matter. I don talk too much abeg. Let all responsible Nigerians rise up to the occasion and do the right thing. This government provides next to nothing for us. I don't see reasons why they would now act as obstacle to the little comfort and decency that we are trying to provide for ourselves without their help. 6 Likes 1 Share |

tunapawizzy:The bolded is why I label Nigeria a jungle. In a sane society, the Judiciary is empowered to check the Executive where there is alleged abuse of power. Together with the legislature, they all are three distinct and equal arms of government. But in Nigeria, the judiciary is in a subdued position. That's why things have turned out this way. The whole legal profession needs real re-orientation and reform. All the voluminous works read, critical legal analyses done and strict etiquette observed means nothing if the Profession doesn't get the respect it deserves |

Blizzy9ja:Na for who get time to dey read law books, dey brag about LLB. From 300L, wise men don know say Nigeria is not for the book smart. Here na jungle. Bag the degree, but be confirmed in the street. And las las, make the mulla. It's not my intention to undermine the profession, but the Nigerian syndrome has made it a laughingstock. Janesouthall:Your second paragraph....I used to think like you, until I came to the understanding that there are heights in business that you'd either not reach, or take much longer time to reach...if you don't have a line of credit that you meet during times of financial need. Even Dangote borrows. The main principles still remain...borrow what you can conveniently and comfortably repay, and make sure the borrowed funds are reinvested to generate more profits. Spend the funds wisely. I suggest you try AB microfinance bank if you really know what you want to do the funds 2 Likes |

paradigmshift:Once Messi is in your team, he'd somehow become your focal point. And please stop saying that the entire Argentine team is trash. Those guys might not be scoring goals, but they are really securing the bag match after match after that Saudi loss. The way they try to recover the ball after they have lost it is really commendable. Without the ball, they are like Simeone's Atletico Madrid |

Charly500:If Messi, Neymar and Mbappe are in their elements, as well as would cooperate with each other, then I see PSG winning the tie. A Bayern without Lewandowski should only scare teams like Barca and the Serie A teams. I pray the three Musketeers are available. Kimmich is good, but Verrati learnt the midfield trade better. The only problem is PSG's defence. Ramos, Marquinhos and Kimpembe are all world-class. I wonder why they won't stop conceding. |

Romance / Re: Guys How Do You Find It Comfortable To Stop A Stranger And Start To Woo Them by Jeferious: 7:23pm On Oct 14, 2022 |
How a thing starts....matters a lot. Sometimes it's easy to predict the end of a thing through its beginning. Sometimes, the unpredictable can happen too. Life no balance. But from a personal view, approaching a stranger with the intent to woo is awkward, and something I won't subscribe to. Mutualism is the soul of any good relationship. Ok, a guy likes a girl who's a total stranger and builds some nerves to approach her. The next question is, does she have the same feelings for him? ........Alright. I get it now. The guy would impress her with what he's got till she falls for him......Foolish peopt I no sabi for una, but I dey fall for who don fall for me. As for the emotional and romantic gamblers, only God can help them. As far as attraction and romance is concerned, if it doesn't happen naturally, I don't even give it a half-thought |
