back it up on your old whatsapp, go to your file manager check under media and database, copy them to your new device and create a new folder 'WhatsApp backup' then install on your new device to the point that your backup will be found, then click restore....

And for those mentioning that it's probably the website how do I justify the fact I'm downloading from Google Playstore, whenever I switch on and off my data the speed for the first few seconds reaches 2MB/s and after that, it drops gradually to 100kb/s. I had to turn on and off my data repeatedly to exhaust the plan.
