EducationHow To Pass Any Examination: 10 Practical Tips by Jegede26(op): 1:44pm On Aug 09, 2016
There are different kinds of exams, some are more difficult than others but the same techniques can be used to tackle all of them. No matter how difficult an exam may be, there is usually at least one person that gets a pass mark, that person should be you. The techniques in this article are very practical and they are applicable to any exam at all.

Prepare: prior proper planning prevents poor performance. You should always create enough time and space for your preparation. No matter how easy an exam may be, you still need to be well prepared for it. Exams are meant to test your ability and one of the abilities it seeks to test is your ability to read and comprehend. Never go into an exam hall without absolute conviction that you have done your best to prepare for that exam.

Take notes as you read: there are two major benefits of taking notes. The first is that it helps you to better understand what you are reading. Sometimes when you are writing an exam, you may have totally forgotten what you read but you somehow manage to remember what you wrote. Note taking also makes future reading easier. When you are reading for the second, third or fourth time, all you need to do is pick up the notes you have made and read instead of going through the whole book again.

Understand the marking scheme: this is one thing I try to do before sitting for any exam. You should find out which questions carry the most points especially in cases where you have both essay and multiple choice questions. This will help you to set your priorities right and effectively manage your time.

Believe in yourself: this point cannot be overemphasized. Always believe in yourself and your ability. Your attitude to any exam should be; “if only one candidate will pass this exam, it will surely be me”. This kind of faith will put anything you want in your hands.

BusinessSimple Steps To Increase Employee Productivity by Jegede26(op): 10:35am On Aug 09, 2016
Increasing employee productivity is not easy and if you want your employees to be happy and still deliver as much as possible then you should consider changing your company policies to get a boost in production. There are a lot of variables that affect daily productivity and having an unmotivated group of employees can be very detrimental to the health of any company. Let’s take a look at some of the best measures that you can take to boost your employee productivity.

Make employees feel at home

If you want to keep your employees motivated then you should create a family-like atmosphere for all of them. Make your employees know that you feel they are like your extended family and always have a positive approach when having interactions to them to get better results. You should never allow anyone to talk negative about them or ignore their best interests. Employees are the key to the running of any organization and they are more valuable than the end consumers themselves because losing them halts businesses completely.

Background checks

The reason most top tier organizations choose to do background checks is not because they do not trust the people who join their organizations but it is to know how likely the person is to perform well at the workplace. For example, someone who attends college is less likely to be motivated due to career preferences while someone who coming from a financially weak background and has dependents more likely to have a high level of motivation.

Business10 Common Mistakes In Running An Online Business by Jegede26(op): 2:19pm On Mar 22, 2016
Today, anyone can start a successful company that will do its business only in the realm of the Internet. This means that the barriers to starting a business are low and a lot of people have tried it, but failed due to various mistakes that are obvious after they have been made. As any other business, starting an online venture requires building credibility and filling a need, but there are a lot more factors that may stand as an obstacle to reaching business success. These are the 10 common mistakes people make in running an online business.

1. Underestimating the passion, drive and obsession it takes to succeed

Focus on one thing and let other things fade to black. That is when great ideas come, not when you are multitasking or trying to manage every minute of your time. Do not worry about time, and in the first year or two you should forget about the work/life balance and its importance. Being passionate about your project and focusing on it is essential.

2. Wasting too much energy on the little stuff

As a business leader, you need to focus on tasks that will help your business get off the ground and propel it to the next level. Do not get stuck in the sea of details. Business founders should not waste their valuable time on things such as logo design or picking the best promotional material.

3. Ignoring customer service

It is essential for customers to have a good experience with your company, because then they are more likely to return. It is easy to forget that when business is conducted solely online, and not finding a way of interacting with your website visitors is a mistake. Also, use review sites to find out who is not satisfied with your product/service and reach out to them.
