SHARE YOUR EXPERIENCES « on: January 10, 2007, 12:24 PM » -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Is there anyone here who has had or knows anyone else who has any experience with customs at Nigerian Ports and other customs-controlled areas like the airports? Be kind to share your experiences with others. For those of you who have had experiences at the Nigerian ports – how difficult is it to get cleared for imported products (especially banned imports)? Someone told me that the officers go as far as transporting the goods to their “customers” final destination if they are “settled” well (you all know what I mean). And how difficult is it to get through the loop-holes in the Banned Importation List. For example, part 2 of the Banned Imports List 2004 bans the importation of ball-point pens, and not pens in general. Does anyone have an up-to-date list of the current prohibited items? |

HI EVERYONE, ANYONE HERE WANT ANYTHING FROM DUBAI, PLS FEEL FREE TO CONTACT ME. |
globalaid, you say you're based in china. i've been trying to get contacts in china for enquiries relating to trading from china mainland. i trade at the moment from dubai - nigeria, ghana, ivory coast and benin republic. At the moment i'm trying to get conacts for manufacturers of hair accessories in china. I got some information at the chinese embassy here and i've just found out that most of the manufacturers are in china mainland. the products price starts from $7 per piece for human hair products. can you give me some advice on where to get the same items of the same quality, but at cheaper rates. i sent you an email too |
damadsuite can you send me a link to your site. i'm not going to comment on your genuinety as a stock buyer, so i just want to comment again on your claim about making a profit returns of N5 million in 6mnths by selling tops-up cards/ 1. i COMPELETLY support the views of 8oracle and nospecto. just like i'd posted before in my reply, you are not a principal dealer, i assume, so how can you educate us on the persuasive skills that you used in getting the executives to get you off making the payment (and at the same rate) paid by other known principal dealars 2. okay, assuming that your information is correct ( which i truly doubt) what is the minimum percent of cards normally sold by your company in a day. pls nairalanders, i hope you know that because of the competition these phone booths barely even us up to two call cards in a day. 3. because they do not use as much call cards, they'll only buy more when they're supplies are amlmost exhausted. dont tell me thet they buy on a daily basis. these are not poultry or fish sellers. 4. which areas of lagos do you supply in. we're simply too intelligent to believe that you could get up to 700 phone booths in 1 or 2 areas of lagos. they are not even up to this in the markets. PLS BE REALISTIC. 5. how many booths a day do each of your boys (the school leavers) supply? what is the expected travel time to these areas. i suppose that they ride the bikes to other far parts of lagos to supply isnt it. imagine cycling from ikeja to a place like festac. Pls stop trying to deceive us in this forum. we are all nigerias and are too smart for this kind of childish information. and i realize that it annoys you when people like 8oracle and nospecto tell you the reality of what you are trying to do. I hope you guys beware of people like this. |
i think your right loverboy. a friend also told me that a lot of asians are into hair extension biz in london already. but i'm hoping that my price will be competitive at least. are they more commonly into manufacturing or wholeselling? i'm looking to sell to afro-salons. problem is, i dont know where (abroad or in uk) they get they're supplies from. |

It would also be helpful to get your advice on contacts for sellers of GOLD and SILVER (1st hand per gram and 2nd hand per gram) in the UK. |
