@vicjustice, don't worry i know the difference between you and justwise. lol. actually i hope that what you just said wont apply to me by God's Grace because my appointment was for 22nd - 26th of September 2011. i applied way ahead of time on the 26th of august and according to the basic information, the processing time takes 14 working days (even though it is more than that now). Justwise what is your opinion? |
Hello house, I applied for a tiurist visa on the 26th of August 2011 and still have not gotten a feedback from the UK embassy. I went to the VFS last week thursday to find out the reason for the delay and was told that it is a general problem with applications sent to the High Commission in abuja. How true is this? I have already missed my appointment in the UK and my leave period is almost coming to end. meanwhile, i emailed the same VFS at few days ago and was told that that the "application is still undergoing verification at the visa section of the high embassy" . hOw long does this whole process take. its really frustrating. pls who else is experiencing the same delay. Justwise where are you when i need your advise? |
pls is anyone experiencing delays in their UK visa application? i applied since 26th august and still have not gotten my passport back. I went to VFS and they said that they are experiencing delays with applications sent to the high commission in abuja. how true is this pls? i've already missed my UK appointment due to this delay. anyone going through the same issue here? |
hello people, Pls i ned urgent advice. I want apply for a short-term visit visa (6 months). I have a two year student's visa to the UK which was valid between 2001 - 2003, ever since i came back after my studies i have not travelled back to the UK. Now my question is what documents do i need to apply as a visitor. I am going to be on a paid leave from work, meaning that funds available for my trip would be made available by my employers. So pls what documents would i need in applying for this visa. I am really confused. |

Guys I need ur opinion, like seriously pls. |
Hi everyone, Just thought I should get your view on this topic. Am a marketing executive in an energy company and meet a lot of peole including foreigners due to the nature Of my job. am in a relationship with an arab presently, a lebanese. I truly luv him. This man is like the most kind-hearted man on the planet.he's an Engineer and was born in nigeria. He speak yoruba fluently (though am igbo and teaching him the language Too. Am learning arabic myself). Now the issue is that it is popular knowledge that arabs don't Marry black women. They can be very racist too and some of them see Black women only as sex objects. My man's friends think this way but my man Has never given me a reason to to believe that he's a racist. He respects me completely. But still am worried becos my other arab friends who I have spoken too tell me that an arab marrying A black woman is almost like a taboo. Is this true? |
Pls I got information that there's going to be another supplementary admission list for LASU. Anyone know if this is true? |
Dr ekeinde how come u help in all admissions for all universities in and out of the country. Thief |
Hello everyone, I am travelling to paris for the first time this xmas. I'm on a tight budget and would like to get information on cheap but decent hotels in paris. |
Yes so wot. Nigeria lost de match but hey argentina is a toff team and dey only scored us 1 nil. Enyeama is definatly so on point in dat match. |
is it possible to get student loans and bursaries in Nigerian universities. I heard that there's a Students loan board in abuja. is this true? |
the show is boring compared to last year's big brother nigeria though its totally different concepts. i like adesewa. she's a good actress i think . uti is the best to win. i'm tired of seeing enoch or wotever he's called always talking about ghana. |
and i really thought that this woman will take a leadership example from okonjo-iweala. wot a shame |
@ udezij: your last post says that you need a visa for sweden, now you have one for the UK. So which is the authentic post. Or are you going to be visiting both countries? |
@ Topic; I HATE GHANAIANS . If you've been to Ghana before - i was there a few wks last year - and have been labeled all sort of rude names becos you are nigerian then i think that you'll understand me. Ghanians are actually the ones that hate Nigerians because they feel threatened by us. There's this kind of overwhelming presence that nigerians carry around with them, and i mean positively overwhelming! Many Nigerians don't even remember that Ghana even exists and i am one of them, definitely ! ![]() |
@ caradona; looks like, from ur posts, u've been havin git difficult with the guys eh, ? |
@kelechiodo; nice to know that there's someone from Enugu here. i feel at 'home' kind of! ![]() @busygal: OMG!!! ![]() |
all i can say is, ''why are you talking about marriage at 18? ''. Give us an answer please! ![]() |
i just try to relax by eating chocolate or listening to music. Most importantly i try not to make decisions when i'm angry so that i don't end up regretting |
Pls post us the source of the news. it may be a rumour! ![]() |
when will there ever be a low-cost hypermarket in Nigeria like Asda and Tescos in the UK? I spend very little there but get more for my money in those shops. Shoprite should not make their products at least reachable to the even the averagely paid - 9 to 5 employee - in nigeria. ![]() |
naijaking1 took the words right out of my mouth! . 1m is too small though but i fit manage am, but who brought up this very silly idea of paying them N1m when what they are fighting for is the liberation of the Niger-Delta? The money is a good bait for more militancy too |

Alhaji Dangote was quoted saying that he should be the richest man in Africa and worth more than Oprah Winfrey. Richest man in Africa? I wouldn’t call myself the richest man in Africa. I would allow Forbes magazine to say so. But I have seen them saying Oprah Winfrey is the richest black person in the world, and she is worth $1.5billion. I think by the grace of God I am much, much, richer than her. But the other one about Africa, I would wait for Forbes magazine to come out with their rating. I think the picture would become clearer towards the end of the year. And they would publish by February. So we keep our fingers crossed See http://sunnewsonline.com/webpages/news/national/2007/july/09/national-09-07-2007-001.htm for the complete interview |
