Person A is on track, employment letter and LOE are fine, I suggest the LOE just says the company doesn't provide reference letter to unconfirmed employee. If there is not yet a formal job description include a summary of your current duties and the applicable NOC. If you are comfortable including your direct boss contact details you can include if not leave out. I assume the NOC of your new job is same as your previous job or an allowable NOC for express entry
geebaby10:
Thanksss for the response. @yimiton it took about 6 working days to get a response.

Please I have a question

Person A had over 3 years in one job then started a new job post ITA. Because new job is less than two months at the time 90 days is up, a reference letter cannot be obtained as Peron A is still in training in the new job.

For documentation Person A uploads a proper reference letter for the first job (this is the work experience that points were claimed for before ITA) and for the second one, uploads just the employment letter. In the LOE, the person explains that as the job is new and training is still ongoing, roles and responsibilities have not been properly defined and includes other details about the job like hours a week etc.

Both jobs were listed in the employment place and personal history place. Documents have already been submitted.

Please what are the implications of this?

Even though it may not be picked up on your payslip, since you are concerned and genuinely so, I suggest you include an LOE saying your POF is unencumbered and the loan on your payslip will be paid from your gratuity on exit. Also attach a statement of your gratuity and policy document on above.
ken2sure:
Good day house. I have a question about POF. I am aware I will have to submit my payslip as part of the documents required post ITA. However, I have accrued loan liability obtained from my place of work over the years which is almost equivalent to what i have as my POF.Though the total loan liability is covered by my accrued gratuity as at today, and my employment policy is to deduct all outstanding loan from accrued gratuity at the point of exit from the job which is clearly stated in the total emolument advice, I am wondering if this will in anyway affect my POF.

Birth certificate is not required for adults only children

hello house.

I just recieved my ITA.

CAN I CHOOSE NOT TO UPLOAD MY BIRTH CERTIFICATE?

Also, my BA certificate has my middle name as Aminatu while all other docs state same middle name as Aminat. Do i need to validate this with something legal?

I just saw my IELTS results now:

Listening: 7.0
Reading: 7.0
Writing: 7.0
Speaking: 8.0

But am very sure there is error somewhere in my reading and listening score. I will wait for the actual TRF. No way i can even score less than 8.0 in reading. Will keep everyone updated

MW, Has anyone had a case of differences in the provisional online result and the actual TRF?

No issue, just get an affidavit saying your names with middle name and without are same person
cochtrane:
Abeg I have one question concerning my application.

I dropped my middle name sometime after university and have not used it since then. That means my middle name is on my transcript, certificate and of course ECA. All docs appearing after uni, like coy docs, bank acc docs after uni, newest passport & ielts etc, don't have this middle name. Is this an issue or non-issue for this Canadian PR thing?

Advise pls.

Yes its possible to apply from Canada however l suggest you defer your admission and start the EE process here with your age and experience your score should be quite high to get an ITA soon. However if funds is not an issue and you will still have POF required after paying fees you can go ahead with your masters and apply from Canada. Either way all the best
kalohenic:
Good day house.

This is my first post here, I have tried to read through earlier pages of this thread, you'll have been doing a great job here.

I need clarification to ascertain if I can apply for EE. Below is my profile:

I am 29 years old and single

I recently got study permit for a two years master's program (Control Systems) at University of Alberta in Canada to commence 5th of September 2017.

I am currently working in a multinational manufacturing company here in Nigeria and recently got an outstanding appraisal report that sees my pay upto NGN 550K monthly.

I have four years experience in the field of Control Systems (Automation Engineer and Instrumentation Engineer in two household name multinational firms).

If I go for the masters I would sponsor myself, and the cost is quite high. But with a PR the cost would drastically reduce.

Now the questions:

Is it possible to start the application for EE entry while I am already in Canada? (As I plan to get my transcript sent to WES before leaving for the masters program)

would you advise based on the experience of those already in Canada, I quit my job for the masters with the hope of securing a PR and good job over there?

I had a similar experience, used my brother's Bank of America visa card, payment declined but he told me he received email to confirm which he did and said I should try again. I waited till my account reset to show make payment then tried again, payment was successful. You need to make payment again as the initial payment didn't go through
walexlo78:
My Peeps in the house, good day to you all. Please I have a dilemma here and will like your comments especially from anyone who has experienced same or similar.

I submitted and paid for my application yesterday morning using my friends Bank Of America card. I got a transaction decline message while application page got stuck on ''payment processing''. The Bank sent a message to my friend to authorize which he did and he has seen the amount debited in his account. However, my status changed to ''continue application'' again and still same as I write now meaning application is not submitted yet.

Should it still be so?, I thought the status should have changed, probably to application submitted and payment received while I get the payment receipt. The main challenge is that I have as at now just 2days remaining to the submission deadline. Is the submission not happening or payment not reflecting because it is a weekend?? What can I do to solve this before the 2days deadline??

I'll go with Yay, a bird in hand is worth more than all the beautiful birds flying in the sky. No one can say for certain how low the scores will go. Yes it will cost an extra $1,500 but I think its worth it. Also since you were selected based on specific jobs required in the province, you should get a job quite easily on arrival. Congrats and All the best

Yes because spouse experience outside Canada doesn't give points, so you don't need to start getting references /documentation for the work experience
crazyinlove:
Hi guys,
In my EE I recorded my spouse work experience (not Canadian) got ITA last week and there is a placeholder for her work experience. But someone is advising me to take it out.
Travel / Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by jenny3(f): 9:00am On Jul 04, 2017
Sister but you are not getting any points for this so why risk having an uncooperative step brother in law have access to your application. You won't be able to view whatever he uploads. It is very possible to edit your profile after after receiving ITA. All the best

winter:
Thanks everyone for your response on the step sibling that changed his mind about sending us his docs.
We decided to give our log in details so he uploads himself and hope its the right docs that's uploaded.

Not sure we can view the docs. Thanks again

You don't need ECA or LOE since points were not claimed, a copy of his degree certificate is sufficient
nastyesco:
Hello House, need to ask a q? I recently got an ITA however, I didn't do a ECA for my spouse, no points was claimed for it on CRS tho. But ofcourse filled it in while filling my profile. My concern is due to time constraint its too late to start her ECA, can I upload her degree and state a case in LOE, since we didn't claim point with it. Has anyone been in a similar situation, kindly advise.

You will need a dollar denominated card, usual ATM cards won't work
Saturi:
Please, how can one make payment for the OINP $1500 processing fee? Can either of these banks ATM card suffice cause am aware the request is to use a credit card and as some of us don't have credit cards can the debit card suffice? How have people crossed this hurdle?
Travel / Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by jenny3(f): 5:19pm On Jun 16, 2017
Yes for the 2 questions that mention visa refusal and provide same explanation, you can also include an LOE on visa refusal. I don't know about schedule A
Peaceful2016:
Congrats to everyone who has received PPR recently...

I'm in the process of filling my e-APR and I have been rejected a UK visa in the past,

Please confirm if I will be answering YES to two statutory questions on the online form. Online there are two questions relating to refused visa but on the Schedule A form (hard copy), there is only one refused visa related question
