Despite the fact that I was banned because of you, I still went as far as sending the direct links of about 4 movies to directly to your email account yet ordinary "thank you" you couldn't send back as an acknowledgement that you received my messages. undecided
grin
A good reason why I stopped posting links. The bans and the aftermath.

I once posted a link to a film on another thread for one clown like this. I got banned for posting the link. When I came back from the ban, I asked the clown if he enjoyed the movie because it came at a cost. The clown first ignored me. Four weeks later, the clown came begging for another link.

I just finished watching "searching". Beorn is right! The movie is a great movie.

It shows the issues with social media and also the conviction of a loving parent.

I like how the movie was shot withe the use of webcams and facetime.

Welcome home, man. The remaining 50% must still be a pretty tidy sum though. Nonetheless, I'm sure your reasons were good for you.

How come you're still on Nairaland? But for a weird combination of factors, I wouldn't even have been back here.
Some nairalanders are cool in real life. Forget all the crazy teenagers. There are some nairalanders that can really impart knowledge into your life here.

Are you serious that Adam and Eve were immature
or you are deliberately trying to display a wack sense of humour here?

And they were both nâked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.
- Genesis 2:25

And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were nâked;
and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.

- Genesis 3:7

In Genesis 2:25, they knew they were nâked and nâked to the elements
but since they had, what is akin to, spiritual/glorified bodies and protective "white garment" covering, it wasnt a problem
They werent ashamed to rely and depend on God

Getting to Genesis 3:7, they, by now, have eaten of the fruit of the tree
They are not just embarrassed and guilty by their actions, but also they had to hide
because they realised they have lost the spiritual/glorified body and their protective "white garment" covering
What? Adam and Eve were wearing cele white garment? Cherubim and Seraphim? Aladura?

Who knew that Adam and Eve had Yoruba Christian swag!

Bro, Jokes apart, Adam and Eve were ignorant of their unclothedness. They did not have any clothes. Stop lying that they had garments on.

Adam and Eve were immature.

Adam and Eve were made fully grown or developed to be responsible for their actions
They are completely responsible for what they did or not do

Their minds were endowed with accelerated knowledge

Unlike johnydon22 who doesnt, I am glad you accept and agree they were not children

Adam was a grown man. He and Eve were not made children nor childish

Adam and Eve did not gradually change physically or progress to maturity as a child would do

Man's knowledge can go beyond his experience
The acquistion of knowledge doesnt all have to be experiential (i.e. first-hand)
People are known to learn from other people's experience.
Besides God taught Adam well and well enough.
Adam had the best Teacher, at his disposal to throw questions at in a quest to gain more knowledge.

Evidently, Adam was subjected to an accelerated learning process or program,
which purposeful was to allow him to think and make reflective judgment(s) concerning what to believe or what not to believe.

So Adam was imparted with enough information by God to make informed decisions
like whether or not, to choose to eat the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good or evil

Inspite of their thinking or reasoning abilities, Eve was deceived
but as for Adam, he wasnt deceived, he, Adam, deliberately decided to mis-behave
Adam and Eve were immature. They did not realize that they were naked.
Christianity Etc › Re: Why Are Nigerian Atheist Cowards? by JeromeBlack: 1:27am On Oct 14, 2018
Zoologists point out that if you take a clean, domesticated dog and put it amongst wild dogs, the clean dog will not survive.

You want atheists to come out in a country where religious people run amok. A country where the current president is a religious bigot. A country where you can be killed in the North for being a christian or the wrong type of muslim. A country with no security. A country where the rule of law cannot guarantee you your human rights (especially freedom from religion).

We live among millions of illiterates and religious bigots in Nigeria. A softer and more intelligent approach is warranted. One cannot afford to be direct.

OK. The two top anime's at the moment are;

Death note - 9/10 (love the intellect twist and mind games)

Attack on Titan- 8/10 (action and gore)

PS: Both anime are not meant for children as i rate them +16. So don't watch it in the presence of a young child.

Watch death note first
I finished death note almost 10 years ago. Damn. Time flies.

Season 3 of attack on Titan just finished.

Both anime have live action films (movies)

Do I really need an explanation? Black Widow has proven herself to be a very valuable member of the Avengers, and all the more remarkable because she doesn't have any powers, or gadgets to help her out and even out the odds. I think she more than deserves a movie of her own. Besides, she looks great in leathers. She will make a remarkably sexy heroin.
She proved nothing. She is just a hot piece of ass.

You haven't really watched a lot of Tom Hardy, have you? No one does crazy better than good old Tommy.

There's a 2008 British biopic named Bronson. It's basically a bio depicting the very interesting life of Charles Bronson. Guess who played the crazy Bronson? Yup, Tom Hardy in the flesh. It's the role that incidentally made his career. Go and watch it, and see what method acting is all about. Manic grin and all. Tom Hardy is enormously talented.

Beautiful thing about Tom is the fact that he doesn't need to talk much to sell any role he plays. He let his voice and body language do the talking. I mean, he can talk your ears off if the role requires it (like in Bronson and Bane), but generally, he chose roles he doesn't have to talk much. He completely transforms himself into these assigned characters.

He can practically play anything, and that's where the acting range comes in. For instance, he went from playing a crazy violent career criminal known as Charles Bronson, to playing a mysterious runaway soldier turned MMA fighter in the movie, Warrior. Two completely different roles in the sense that one is a crazy and unpredictable bipolar character, and the other is a grounded, and kind-hearted character. But Tom Hardy made both characters very compelling and sympathetic.

A schizo crazy face? Bullocks. It's basically what I call overacting. Have you come face to face with a schizo? Believe me, you won't be able to tell a high functional schizo from Adam (a normal person). For one, they don't think they are crazy, thus, their facial expression don't in any way reflect their emotional disquiet. Suffice to say, Jim Carrey would have ruined Venom with his ridiculous unrealistic facial expressions. Glad he wasn't even considered.

And for the record, Legion (a very powerful mutant) in the tv show, Legion, isn't schizophrenic. He thought he was, but really isn't. It's merely Shadow King (a parasitic mutant with telepathy powers) playing a mind trick on him.
grin

Your analysis is deeply flawed. I just watched clips of Bronson. That is not the kind of crazy I am talking about. Bronson is no madder than the average criminally depraved gangster.

A good example is Nicholas Cage in Ghost rider. You can see elements of fear and madness when he realises that the ghost rider is part of him. Look at the scene where he is in his apartment and looks in the mirror. Compare that to when Brock looks at the mirror before seeing venom. This is a scene to scene comparison.

Tom Hardy is a great actor but no one is perfect.

Talking about legion, everyone understands the plot. It was even hammered many times that he was falsely made to believe that he had mental issues. Don't be a smartass. Furthermore, he did act like he was schizophrenic in the beginning. And he still has mental problems according to the comics

And lastly, you seem not to know that schizophrenic people have thier manic states. You will know them if you stay long enough.

Criminally overrated. Started with a bang, fizzled out in the middle, and ended with a whimper.
Wonderwoman was overrated. Maybe because people were happy that a good DC movie arrived and with the plus of being a feminist movie.

Honestly, I want captain marvel and black widow to flop.

I want truly powerful heroines to get movies. Wonderwoman is powerful and has had a great history in DC comics.she is fresh and had an original story.

Black widow is an overhyped dominatrix-looking spy. The sexy Russian spy thing has been done to death. She has no powers. We already have agent carter- which was average.

Captain marvel is a great example of forced diversity. Her origin story was ripped from a male Captain marvel. She was never truly popular in comics. If I remember clearly, her comics never had strong sales. She kept being pushed and pushed to the front for diversity reasons.

A phoenix movie is what I would like to see. Or the Valkyries in Thor. Or the adventures of Gammora and her sister.

I disagree. No other person would have done that role justice as Tom Hardy did. A witty side character?? Are you sh*tting me. The man practically exudes an angst (for lack of better word) vibe, that ultimately makes him a great villainous character or some kind of anti-hero. Take a gander at his filmography, and you'll see what I'm on about.

Tom Hardy has too much screen charisma, and acting range to be just a witty side piece, bud.
I disagree. Inception, Dark Knight Rises, Mad Max Fury Road. All great performances from Tom Hardy, few lines.

Tom Hardy works best with few lines. His humor is just like Alfred in Batman- a few witty quips here and there.

Tom Hardy also lacks a 'crazy face'. Take a look at the guy in Legion series- when he is full on emotions and mental power, he has a manic smile. Jim Carrey has that ability too.

Christianity has been in Africa from the very first century it came into existence, in fact the Ethiopian Eunuch is a good example. It was also in Egypt, and I am very sure that people spread the message even to our fore fathers, the white man is not the first person the bring christianity into Africa. A black man did.

So the hallmark of a successful country is when a usless man inserts his pen1s into another man's rectum? The so called gay rights is just a very new thing, in fact it was Obama (how I hate that man) that began to use it as a political weapon against perceived enemies of the Left, before he began his madness, homos were not even regarded as humans by majority of Americans but still the US made a lot of progress both in technology and otherwise. How were the homos treated in the US during the course if the twentieth century? Homosexuality is an ABOMINATION.

No! Don't mix things up, CAN for instance opposed the use of condoms initially because some people thought that if they use condoms they are commiting no sin because there in no physical contact between the peni5 and the vulva, CAN said no, the best thing is to abstain from sex until you marry. Sex should be between a husband and his wife ONLY! It has ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with overpopulation.

I am yet to see anywhere in the bible that says one must be poor to serve God, or that we must remain poor, instead we are told not love money, because if you do, you will only end up stabbing yourself all over with many pains.

So my dear your misery stems from the fact that you choose to remain docile in face if bad leadership. Tribalism is also another problem. I don't know about Islam though.
Your problem is that you make up nonsense to defend your points. Christianity was brought to Nigeria by slave trading Europeans. Nigeria is not in north africa.

Christianity is a problem

VENOM

The movie is not bad, it is just that it is not a blockbuster. The movie is your typical marvel action-comedy. Unfortunately, the comedy is not so strong. Tom Hardy is a sarcastic kinda guy, he works better as a witty side character. I feel that the guy was miscast as venom/Eddy Brock. If Jim Carrey was younger, he would make a great venom as he is good at schizophrenic roles.

The action sequences in the movie are solid. So the film gets a 5.5/10

Average action-comedy.

Your problem is your inability to kickstart a revolution and effect change, because you are docile and a coward, then instead of accepting that fact you begin to point fingers. These corrupt leaders, are they from Mars? Every society deserves the kind of leadership they get, until they DECIDE otherwise. Christianity has ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with your misery.
Christianity has a lot to do with the problems in Nigeria.

First of all, a country that forgets history will remain a slave to its past. If Nigerians were aware that christianity supported the enslavement and colonization of Nigerians in the past, christianity would be dead in Nigeria.

Gay rights. Thanks to christianity and islam informing the morality of Nigerians, Nigerians hate homosexuals. In other successful countries, gays rights have been guaranteed by the government.

Overpopulation and child breeding. Thanks to christianity, condoms and child planning are unpopular. Leaving poor people to have numerous children that they cannot care fore.
