There was a thread for non-religious discussions created in the Religion section which was very DRY, so I and a couple of Christian friends went into the thread to party! We wanted to spice things up a bit and enliven the place. Logicboy, as he was known back then took offence and wanted us out, but we ignored him because we are all Nairalanders. Nobody can prohibit anyone from commenting on any thread, not even the mods.

Logicboy became nasty and abusive, and me sef showed him that he doesn't have the monopoly over cussing by giving him his life history. After the history lesson, I reported him and he was banned.

The painment is still alive and active in his soul, that's why he is still stalking and trolling me 5 years on. He metamorphosed from Logicboy, to Logicbwoy, then JackBizzle, and now JeromeBlack, but his man-bitchy, whiny character has remained constant. The day he announced he was deactivating, _Seun said, and I quote: "Good riddance."

The thread that he was crying over sef is no longer dry; it's DEAD. He tried to revive the thread but there are some kinda dry bones that can never rise again.

I used to give it back to him whenever he starts his madness, but nowadays I just ignore the chinch. He loves attention, and I will NOT give it to him. Ain't nobody gat time iranu

She even confirms that she derailed a thread that she was not supposed to be part of.

Ishil.ove and I were friends at the beginning.

However, our beef started when she, her friend and a moderator derailed a thread that I love. There was a time in the religion section that all 3 religious moderators were christian. Ishil.ove is a christian while i am an atheist. Ish.ilove derailed an atheist chat thread and rained abuses on me when I called her out on it. A mod even joined in mocking me. She should have been banned. But of course, christian bias.
I left nairaland in protest, and then came back with an expose of the full story of the derailment of the atheist thread. With the whole story exposed, both ishil.ove and the christian mod were shamed. Ish.ilove lost a lot of christian friends then.

Then, Ishi.love became a mod. Guess what she did as one of her early actions? She derailed one of my threads and banned me for years when I complained about the derailment!

Then ish.ilove got sacked resigned as a mod. I and many other people that she mistreated came back to haunt her. This is why she has many haters and people ready to troll her.

For instance, Star Wars is a franchise with books, movies and animated tv series. The original source is the first star wars movie.

Even before I read his answer, I always knew he'd go for Spielberg. Anyone that knows his onions when it comes to Hollywood movies will choose Spielberg ahead of Cameron based on versatility, consistency and proficiency.

Spielberg does it all no matter the genre. Even if Cameron's movies had more Academy awards than Spielberg's movies, I'd still have chosen Spielberg because of his versatility and consistency.

I remember reading somewhere that Cameron is a perfectionist. This is probably why he doesn't stray away from his genre.

It's tricky because it's not something you can give a straight answer to. There are several variables to consider like consistency, proficiency, niche, best battling average, and sum total. Let's take them one by one.

- Consistency: Stephen Spielberg has been in the business for over 40 years and have been consistently good inspite of not specializing in a specific genre like Cameron. So in terms of consistency, he's the better director
- Proficiency: Spielberg is an highly skilled movie director that is not restricted to a specific genre. He has charted and conquered several genres like Music, Drama, Biography, Period, Action, Adventure, War, etc. So we can authoritatively say Spielberg edged Cameron in Proficiency.
- Versatility: Speilberg is highly skilled in several genres while Cameron is only a grand-master in the Sci-fi genre. Which brings us to...
- Specialist/Niche: Cameron is great with visuals and compelling complex plots that is visionary as they are cutting edge. In the Sci-fi genre he's still unmatched. His directorial style has influenced the great British duo of Christopher Nolan and Ridley Scott. He almost never do any other genres, with only two notable exceptions being True Lies and Titanic. Cameron edged in the Niche department.
- Battling Average: Cameron has a better battling average, helped by the fact that he's very picky, stays on a specific genre, and hasn't done as many movies as Speilberg.
- Sum Total: In terms of sum total of filmography and achievements, Spielberg has more movies, the more proficient, more consistency, and more versatile. Whilst both has the same number of personal wins, Spielberg movies have won more Academy Awards.

Conclusion: James Cameron may be a genius and help revolutionize the way Sci-fis are shot, but Spielberg is the better movie director, overall.

Yes, their marriage failed because they had inlaw issues. The church contributed to the failure of the marriage with the prayers and fake advise. Had the couple settled issues with the parents and elders, they would have been better off. In this case, the redeemed church messed up.

It might sound funny but the title of this thread is true. Whenever I read some of the messages that come out from the social media of the redeemed church, I am happy.

The redeemed church has gotten so fat and pompous on the prosperity gospel that it has now crossed a limit of ridiculousness. Some of the messages that come out from the redeemed church are so terrible that even christians are becoming turned off from the church.

Imagine a pastor saying that couples should discuss their marriage with pastors before their parents! What kind of mental brainwashing is that?

Anyway, I'm glad that people are now truly seeing what the religion is.

Stop defending wrong practices. Parents come before pastors when it comes to family issues like marriage. I know two redeemed members whose marriage failed upon all the blessings from the pastors.
