And also the one for edification of the body of Christ which comes with interpretation either from you or another person. This comes as God wills.

There is a prayer and worship one, you can start it as you will and can also be in others peoples languages or tongues of angels. This is spoken to God and not men. And received at the baptism.
This was the one Jesus said, in My Name they will do.

The Corinthian church messed everything up and mixed it. So Paul had to correct it.

No, I have not. Its only an image to help me remember them. I haven't seen Buhari before, but I have his image in my room. Anytime I see it I remember the president and I pray for my country. I have never seen the pope before, there is an image they say is him, whether picture or on TV screen. Image is image.

What you call your image is what it answers. If you make an image of a goat, and say this represents a lion, if you see it, you think of a lion.

And how do you know the faces represented on the statue is Mary or Jesus? Have you seen them before? What if those images were made after that of Roman gods or a man? Then you would be bowing down to a man.

There is ONLY one gift of tongues not two. Whether praying, praising, or worshiping in tongues, they should be strictly PRIVATE unless there is interpretation

There are people who spoke in the tongues prayer language before God gave them the gift for edification of believers that comes with interpretation. Not all have the latter. That was Paul said, do all speak? And do all interprete? Which is to show you it was the ministry gift he spoke about.

The 120 disciples in the upper room, where all of them interpreting their tongues? Cornelius and his household. Did they?

Paul wrote that letter because there was confusion on the issue.

Many like me received the gift of tongues within 24 hours of receiving Christ. Tongues are no maturity. Maturity is measured by the fruit of the Spirit

God's power does not respond to anxiousness in prayers or even worry. But in releasing of ones faith through rejoicing in His word concerning the situation.

I don't doubt the testimonies, but it wasn't the tongues.

My point was that tongues was involved. If not for it, there wouldn't have been a miracle in those cases. The tongues was involved in the release of power.

If you want to enjoy wealth from God, then you've to be willing to pay the price. Mt 6:33.

And most Christians in this generation are not willing. Its all word of mouth.

So until then, its either you have a talent or skill (e.g. Bill Gates) that can fetch you wealth, or you bow your knees to the devil so you can get it from him. Because God says the devil is the god of this world's system.

So three ways u can get wealth:

From God, From your talent or skill (not every talent or skill can fetch wealth) and from the devil.

BTW, there are mutli millionaires in dollars that got their wealth from God only. And I am not talking of pastors.

I am actually afraid for most of them. What if at the end Jesus says what they've been doing all along was idolatery. And they thought they will make heaven.

Remember Jesus said "Many will say on to me in that day, Lord, Lord..." And notice some of the people in this group did mighty miracles in His Name.

So some of this Catholics thinking they are seeing small manifestations here and there, think God might be pleased. Not knowing what might await them.

Keep on exposing false doctrines brother. He that hath ears to hear let him ear.

In as much as I don't quite agree with the OP, that is his own opinion. I still deem it necessary to disagree with your last statement @bold.

Its not the tongues that are used in casting out demons and healing! It is the power of God (in the Name of Jesus) that heals and delivers. The tongues are only but gifts, and the bible clearly stated that "by their fruits 'not gifts' you know them".

Think, those that feed people snakes and grass and petrol are all speaking in tongues.

Those that make people suck their manhood are speaking in tongues.

I know its power in Jesus Name that brings miracles.

But there has also been situations when God commanded that tongues be spoken in order to drive out a demon or to bring healing and even to raise the dead.

That happens because its not every time we what we should pray for as we ought to.

I will give you an example that happened.

A woman was dying of cancer and after all said and done in prayers and commands nothing happened to cure it. So God told the minister there to lay his chest on the woman's abdomen and speak in tongues. So he did that, later on he said he felt something transfer from him to the woman. The woman then cried out loud that she now knew why she had cancer, it was because of an unforgiveness she had from when she was little, because of abuse. She released that unforgiveness and instantly became healed.

You see its not everything you think you know how to solve. That was why tongues was given to help in our infirmities. Tongues has also been used by some group people to cast out a devil from someone who was a devil worshiper.

If you still doubt, you can go online and check for testimonies regarding tongues.
