I hear Nigerians always in a hurry to offer prayers for and or stand with an international cause or event mostly on social media with trendy hastags like #PrayforUkraine, #Blacklivesmatters, etc, etc. At times, it gets me wondering if Nigeria and Nigerians are the most peaceful, least afflicted, most prosperous and most loving Nation on God's good earth. I have tried to rationalize all the subs but found out that we do not measure up in any. So my question is, where is our humanity and love for all these causes coming from?. Do not get me wrong, it is not a bad thing to let's say, #PrayforUkraine which is being invaded by Putin's Russian troops but with the way Nigerians are going about the whole thing and more, you'd think Nigeria has gotten zero problems. War is relative in definition. I saw a video of a group of Ukrainians numbering about 500 being evacuated and how they organized themselves even when they had all the excuse in the world to be disorganized and I mirrored it with the Nigerian situation across cities and even the FCT Abuja at our said "Peace time", I discovered that Nigeria needed the #PrayforNigeria hastag even more. Most public primary schools in Nigeria and that of the FCT as a matter of fact have been on strike since the beginning of academic sessions this year with no end in sight anytime soon and not to talk about our public universities and the ASUU impasse. All these are happening during "Peace time". By implication, the foundation (primary education) and the "roofing" ( University education) in Nigeria are experiencing some kind of war! Industrial war you may want to call it, truth is, war is war. Do you get the picture? You think it is "Peace time" because you do not hear the fire cracks of gunshots (we do by the way) or the boom, boom of bombs going off. I bet the the Ukrainians we are in a hurry to pray for can still have access to fuel for cars and other sundry uses if they care and are still enjoying 24hours of electricity in areas that have not been shelled yet by Russian forces. Much can be said about their universities. At least, with the number of Nigerians that were stranded at the beginning of hostilities. Once again, I would love to make it clear that I have nothing against the Ukrainians, I'm just drawing comparisons between a "war torn" country and a "peaceful" one. Nigeria is so peaceful that Nigerians thronged the Ukrainian embassy in Abuja looking for a way out. So much for "peaceful", abeg my people, #PrayforNigeria. To a people that the #BlackLivesMatters trended amongst the most and most populated black nation, you'd think these guys actually love themselves, YES THEMSELVES!!! From cult wars to drug wars and human trafficking, Nigerians are known to have no mercies when dealing in the above mentioned. In Ukraine and other regions of conflicts, there exist some kind of rules of engagement where women and children are spared, not in Nigeria. People vanish everyday never to be ever seen or heard from again or at "best" found dead, decomposing, badly mutilated and or missing vital organs and privates. Ritual killings and organ harvesting trade are one of the major threats to women and children in Nigeria as at now. In "war torn" Ukraine, even women and children are given some sort of protection from the direct impact of the war. Not in Nigeria. Yet we are at peace. Let us #PrayforUkraine #BlackLivesMatters indeed. #Umoren #Tina #Hanifa #Bamise. In "war torn" Ukraine, people hide in sub stations, underground tunnels and other places that if they exist in Nigeria would be considered extremely dangerous. Yet we are yet to hear of a single person missing and being found with eyes and privates missing. Who did we offend? In "Peace time" a citizen will board a bus and wind up dead! Not by accident or any other natural cause and we all feel indifferent because we have been disensitized. She's definitely not the first and same not going to be the last. We are doing what Putin is doing to Ukraine to ourselves and worse, we are cold, self conceited and undeniably brutal. We are at war!!! #PrayforUkraine |

In a sane country, heads will roll. But for here? Together they "roll". |
HeDied:This is the early stage of what will later be known as "Bumps" in your case, lemme (God forbid) on your behalf. It is usually caused by an unsterilized clipper blade starting as a mild skin irritation which itchies and when aided by scrathing, results to something like on OP's back head. If it remains untreated or treated with levity or badly, can quickly degenerate into "Keliods". Quick home remedy. Get some lemons (not lime), cut and scrub surface with it. Do that whenever you finish bathing. Always use medicated soap. Toilet soaps tends to irritate bumps like this. I'd recommend Delta or Dettol soaps. After this, try and get a personal clipper and or reduce its sharpness if you already have one. One final thing. Try and keep your hair for a while (trim if possible) but do not base your backline. It will help your heal on the inside as well. Note: Lemon will dry up that up and coming bump in less than a week of religious application but e go pepper you at first. Get well soon. |

“If your enemy asks you to join him to scatter your father’s house, can you support him to break your father’s house? You shouldn’t do that. But if he overshadows you and you help him to accomplish that, you would cry later" Southern people una dey hear sense ![]() You joined "enemies" to destroy your own in 2015 with a "promise". Una eye go open and una doubt cleared last last!!! |
inoki247:One thing I admire about the igbos is, they will not market a bad product because he's their brother (political wise though). Even this okorocha's news is irritating to any sensible human. Tueh!!! |
I didn't really think a day would come when I would quote someone like Portable.... "Apart from biscuit, Toetoe is the second cheapest thing" |

As funny as the lord bishop is sounding, he has spoken nothing but the truth. |
Funny how nobody is talking about the sacrilege of rape. It is rather centered on not being screwed on the ground. Whatever happened to “not sleeping with a married woman” talk more a pregnant one. |
igwedehxy:All the best bro Exchanging words with you will be a waste of time. You are so arrogant and proud. Still, I wish your bro the best. |
Angelacruz:281 for UDUOSK medicine??.... From my deductions, I can tell he's from the south south region and taking such score to Sokoto is kind of risky. |
pegix:Open up to them bro, if they share in your dream, they will accept it. It's your life and it's what you've always wanted, make them understand that it's the only place you can find joy. The truth is that you fvcked up. You should have spoken to one of them about your interest in taking another jamb or maybe your brother or a close relative, it would have been easier for you. On a second thought, how come you're just saying this??.. Has it not been long you got the admission, has Unijos not started 100l already??... You may want to create a thread to get audience tho. All the best |
igwedehxy:Sorry to say but you're very rude and impolite!!. You came here to seek advise and opinion of others and someone told you what he felt he knew about both schools and that's all you can say?. He gave a honest opinion and I really cannot see anywhere he killed your hope there. This is someone who has tested both schools from experience and he's telling you what he knows and you're busy "shading" him. It's obvious you already had ANSU in mind, why then did you come here to seek advise when you've already made up your mind?. If I were you, I'd have thought about it carefully using what he's told you to judge and make a reasonable decision. What will be his gain if he deceives you?. You should apologize to him because what you did was totally wrong. Well, that's totally up to You. Good day!!!! |
igwedehxy:ANSU to me is a better option here. He has better chances there |
