Ferotex construction company is cutting a big chunk of the cake! Just yesterday the company got a huge road contract in Enugu State, and now another one in Anambra State.

It's good indigenous Igbo construction company like Ferotex is playing a big role in fixing our infrastructure.

It was because you had the best team that worked for a better economy. Soludo and Okonji Iweala were very active in shaping your economic policy.

Those economic policies were instrumental in pulling many Nigerians out of poverty.

Since 2015, lizard people took over power in Nigeria, and the results are what this country is experiencing today.

It's a good project if realised but I must admit that the present Enugu government cannot be trusted.

Hardly completing any project and hardly giving quality project. I am still monitoring Mba. He is behaving like he is serious but I'm a lot disappointed on the way he fails on promises.

Last year, he said he will deliver 85 roads before December. None delivered after December. Only 30 percent completed till now.

He also promised water project, not achieved till now.

He started Eke flyover, not 10% done.

No single big project completed. Only inferior and poorly executed internal roads

Alex Otti and Fr Alia have completed many. On top that, he is over taxing Enugu people. I understand he spent a lot to get to the seat but he should not punish ndi Enugu because of that

15billon giving to Ugwuanyi to cling Enugu PDP ticket. 7billion paid to INEC to get declared in Abuja. 5billion to win at Enugu tribunal and 10billlon to win at Supreme court.

I believe he can turn things around with all these projects initiated but we will wait if he achieves them with quality. They are laudable projects I must say

Eke Obinagu flyover is a federal government project, not Enugu state. It seems Umahi owns the company that got the contract to build the flyover.

Between 1981 and 1986, he was a guest performer on NTA channel 6 Aba. His music was Egwu Une, and he was a solo Übö player. He was telling stories and folklore through his music. He was telling stories like Mike Ejeagha of Akukö na Egwu genre.

I grew up in Enyimba city and watched this man play during Ukonu's club on NTA channel 6 Aba.

The present government has also gone back to another APC's vomit by selling US dollars cheaper to BDCs at about 1, 350 Naira per 1 USD. 10,000 USD for each registered BDC 2x a week will definitely run into a big amount annually. In other words, Mr. Tinubu has secretly gone back to defend the Naira he floated. What a flip flopping government!

I am not in Enugu. I have no clue on what's happening there. I read in the news last week about dozens of pigs and thousands of chickens destroyed by Enugu state government agency at Nchatancha, Nike, in a bid to drive people away from " new Enugu territory".

There is no where called Trans - Ekulu road in Enugu. The road you people here call Trans - Ekulu road is actually from Parklane/ShopRite Roundabout, Nwodo Street ( GRA) , linking Ekulu Bridge/ Billante Flyover to Damija Junction( Trans- Ekulu side). What the company awarded the contract has done are provision of Sidewalks and scrapping of the damaged Asphalt top layer. Finally, the company will provide fresh smooth binding top layer of Asphalt on the road. That road is about 750 metres long, with about 70% located in GRA part of Coal City. Unu aghotago? Onwe ndi mma ogbe ofuma. Oburo Nwa 042 na onu. Kedu ebe ima na Enugu?

Dee Sam Mbakwe will so much be proud of the current governor of Abia state.

In the 80s, when folks like me were growing up in Enyimba city, Governor Sam Onunaka Mbakwe made sure Aba had a cool image. Ime town Aba, up to Ogbor Hill had brand well paved roads, both on dual roads and inner streets.

You guys forget that gas supply for power plants in Nigeria is erratic.

The best bet, in my opinion, is to activate the coal mines in Enugu. Igbo and other investors ( like ENBW or Eeon Germany or any other from North America), can build coal powered plants that can supply electricity to the whole South East, and export the excess to neighboring states.

This is a long term sustainable power source for Igboland. Thousands of people will be employed by the coal mines.
