Vote4ObiDatti:Owerri is a flat boring town. The only thing that remind me about Owerri is Ofe Owerri. It's road network is nothing to write home about |
Enugu' s beauty is mainly due to its landscape. There is no such a beautiful landscape in whole southern Nigeria. It's like a city between Zurich and Geneva |

Tinubu's interview is gonna be like listening to an angry bird sing songs |
Ugo na abo, Ugo na abo! Ka m mee elee... |
seunayantokun:Bankruptcy is a legal process in a court. Nigeria is yet to file for bankruptcy. |
Folks, it's official: Nigeria is BROKE! It's the economy, stupid!! |

Historically, people of Plateau State have most often aligned with South East in politics. In 1979, Solomon Lar was elected governor of Plateau State under Nnamdi Azikiwe's NPP( Nigeria Peoples Party). It's likely that Obi will get majority votes from Plateau State just like Zik in 1979 and 1983. |
In 2023, it's gonna be about the economy and security for most Nigerians. The APC has nothing to offer Nigerians in these two areas. It's the economy, stupid!! |
ArewaNorth:Please, for historical perspective before 1999, northern Muslims had been in power for over 2 decades ( Shagari, Buhari, Babangida, Abacha and Abubakar). Obasanjo and Falae were allowed by northern politicians to form the then next government after Abiola's ordeal in the hands of northern Muslim soldiers. It was the best and only option the north had then, otherwise Nigeria would have headed for disintegration. One section of Nigeria's 2 big religions can not hijack power for decades and take the other as the big fool. If this country must harness its potentials for the benefit of all, there must be political and social justice. |
It's the economy, stupid!!! For every Nigerian, are you better off now than in 2014 downward?? |
With abundance of coal in Enugu, and now a possibility of some billions of cubic feet of natural gas reserve, 042 is literally a power house. |
I remember this particular OP making noise as usual about 2 years ago. His post then was about Ugwuanyi's contract award for asphalting of Alor street. Alor street links Thinkers Corner with Abakpa Nike. You know what governor Ugwuanyi did? He gave contract for asphalt laying of 150 metres of the street. That road has already collapsed since last year, with dozens of potholes all over the 150m stretch. I hope Enugu will never have such a governor again. The New market expressway he did some years ago is in a terrible state now. What is he actually going to be beautifying on that road? The fatty of a governor is a big disappointment. Look at his senatorial zone. 9th Mile - Ukana - Ukehe - Opi old Road is one of the most important roads in Enugu state, yet this governor has been able to asphalt only about 5km of the 37km road! A journey from 9th Mile to Opi on that road takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes. |
Tinubu is now talking about electricity in Nigeria. He should tell Nigerians his role in the infamous Enron scandal. Lagos state lost millions of dollars to the defunct Chicago based electricity company. In the end, Lagos under Tinubu government was much more in darkness. |
What a beautiful village! Looks like somewhere in Allgäu - between Isny and Leutkirch in Germany. A hilltop Village like this one offers one cool breeze most of the time, and noiseless Moments. |
Where are the rural roads some people claim was constructed by the fat toad governor? 4 corners - Agbani - Amagunze road is a federal project. Ugwuoba - 9th Mile road is another federal government project (ongoing construction). Old 9th Mile - Opi road is a total mess, and the governor stopped work at Abor town. I ask again, where are the rural roads constructed by the current Enugu state governor?? |
The walls of the waterfall remind me about remnants of century old walls in Mainz Germany, during the Roman empire expansion into the middle of Europe. Those waterfall walls are breathtaking - an incredible nature's art of beauty!! |
There are many natural treasures in Igboland. If this particular waterfall is the Caribbeans, the local community will be earning millions in revenue from tourists. |
Who cares about such music? Give me Kofi Olomide, Sunny Ade and George Benson |
Scarcity of water in Enugu is due to failure of leadership. There is abundance of high quality water just about 10km away at 9th mile and it's surroundings. Ama Brewery which is perhaps the most modern brewery in Nigeria was built by Nigeria Breweries due to the rich water quality found at 9th Mile. What Enugu state government should do is to get dozens of deep boreholes drilled and send the water through dedicated pipeline to Enugu city. A few years ago in Hamburg Germany, i was part of a team that drilled 300m deep new boreholes for Hamburg Wasser ( the city's water provider). The new boreholes were kept for future connection to the pipeline that supplies the city water. The company anticipated a rise in water consumption in city of Hamburg and awarded contract for boreholes that would be put to use later in the future. This is even a city that gets its water originally from Elbe river. Enugu state government should think out of the box and find a solution to this embarrassing water situation in the city. I am sure money spent on the 3 pedestrian bridges the state government built last year would have gotten the city more useful boreholes, than bridges nobody is making use of. The state government should be very very ashamed. |

This is quite impressive. In my opinion, the true traffic of passengers through the airport will be determined after this traveling season between mid December to mid January. That not withstanding, all the other airports in the region will continue to have their share of passengers. After all, the airports in Cologne- Bonn and Dusseldorf in Germany, though in the same federal state, still operate independently. There could be another airport in Enyimba city in the future. For goodness sake, ndi Igbo are over 50 million people and counting. Egbe belu, Ugo belu. Ije awele Ka anyi na ayo Olisa!! |

RIP, Obi nwa Akpugo, Nkanu. |
Beautiful!! It reminds me about that stretch on the Autobahn between Lausanne and Geneva, in Switzerland. If it's in Europe, Enugu to Okigwe would have a skyrail taking tourists along the hilltop to explore those beautiful terrains. That could bring in millions of dollars to the communities and investors in the area annually. |
Not again! The one that happened to Ebeano is still fresh in people's minds. Hopefully, the store has a full insurance coverage. |
