@Op I think some of your indicated prices are not correct market price of the commodities. Its either you are not able to determine the weight or the stated prices given to your was misinformed. For example you stated that a 50 Kilo of Garri Cost N3,500. This is incorrect as it translate to N70 per kilo which is not possible even if the producers get cassava at a ridiculous low price. I also find similar issues with Tomatoes and Soya bean.
I have been following your thread and all your prices are significantly understated as obtainable from esoko commodity index.
Please double cross and check the correct weight before you post!.

I quote price from my farm area. My quotations are for Saki area of Oyo State. They are perfectly correct sir These are farm gate price directly from farmers in my locality.

I am comparing the growth rate, the yield and profitability of planting different varieties of cucumber. All the seeds are Technisem products. The varieties we are comparing are Hybrid Murano F2, Pointsett and Marketer variety

A pick up of cassava is N20,000
50kg of white Gari is N3,500
120 pieces of yam tuber is between N7,000 -N10,000
A basket of 30Kilo Tomato is N4,000
A bowl of Egusi melon is N500
A kilo of handmade Sheabutter is N300
5 Litre of original honey is N4,000
25 Litre of original honey is N20,000
A kilo of dry Maize is N45
A kilo of Soya beans is N100

The Hybrid Cucumber fruiting at 5 weeks. The pointsett variety is just flowering while the marketer is about to flower. All will be 5 weeks on saturday 1st. The attached picture is of the Hybrid Murano F2

The hybrid Cucumber (Murano F2) Flowering at 4 weeks

The murano species has an exceptional growth rate. It starts flowering at 4 weeks. The other species are just preparing. I will see how to attach the pics later.

Yes it is extremely stressfull Weeding with hoe. There are still a lot of farming aspect in Nigeria that have not been mechanised yet. We hope to get there some day.

Manual weeding? Won't that be stressful? Considering the space of the land.... Please jethro help throw more light.

We are not using herbicide. We will be weeding manually. We have not been able to find a selective herb for vegetables. Till then its manuall weeding.

On a second thought, I think putting the contact no for people that needs the products will do the seller a lot of good cause he will have more customer for his products. Will still like to know how i got the no from you. Then i can decide
