Dear AREWA Youths, Do you know why some of us don't blink anymore at the Boko haram activities and never talk about it? I cannot be crying more than the bereaved. I cringe every time the "bomb goes boom" then I weep for the dead and moved on. The Arewa youths are the blankest people I know. My apologies to the few sensible ones first of all if there are any. Your number is being reduced drastically and under your watch Boko Haram and Fulani herdsmen snatched the first and the fourth position as the most deadly terror groups in the world. Everybody call you names. Your daughters and sons are either being used as bomb detonators or being decimated by bombs. You don't feel ashamed rather you are energized whenever you hear about BIAFRANS’ quest to break away from the shackle called Nigeria (ZOO).
You have never for one day risen in anger against the bastardization of your land. Your land is flowing with blood. Blood that will one day speak against you. You have not asked yourself, why am I not as fearless as Biafrans who criticize their elders whenever they perceive them placing their interest against interest of their people. You see us attack our own and they shake in fear, you never speak against yours because you think it is their sole right to be powerful, while you remain impoverished. Your fellow youths were blown to smithereens days ago because somebody was sharing ordinary five hundred Naira, youths with potentials were killed. Why are you not angry? I wonder why you never protested against injustices, poverty, neglect and senseless deaths in your land rather you are always prompt to hold meetings to issue senseless and ridiculous statements against Biafran youths who are simply asking for freedom of one of their own, perceived injustices in their land and the right for self determination under the international law.
Not a bomb has been dropped, not a single bullet has been fired. That mammoth crowd has been protesting peacefully for three weeks now. Yet you with the Iroko tree in your eyes want to remove tiny grain of sand from Biafran eyes. Then you wonder why we always hold you in contempt and abhor any association with you. Ask yourselves again what the oil has against water. Your region is blessed with so much vast land. You have the real gold in agriculture but your people are suffering most from malnutrition. When there is an outbreak of an epidemic it starts with you. Your leaders have been in power for over 36 years since the zoo (Nigeria) was granted flag independent by her British creator. The Nigerian state is 55 years mind you, yet you are the poorest region. You have children who wake up in the morning and hit the road to beg, yet you are not ashamed. You wanted power so much. It has been given back to you. You have had it for six months now, and guess who is suffering most? You! Have you ever asked yourselves why? The rich among you are very rich and powerful from the money stolen from public treasury. They hand you peanuts and you prostrate for them. They dash you crumbs you rejoice and ready to carry out their instructions to attack anyone or group who speak against their evil.
Out of your ignorant you sing praises and protect those who have impoverished you. Ask those of your brothers who have left to BIAFRALAND to make a living why they never come home unless it is time to find a wife or do something else. They will confirm to you they discovered equity, fairness and motivation to be master of their own because we love liberty and freedom. I can understand your natural system which is feudalism but in today’s advance world you should strive to be self sufficient.
In contrast Biafrans are naturally libertarian. We love freedom and independent, that is the reason our continue existence with people who believe in feudalism in the same country with conflicting values is a very big threat to our continue existence. That is one of the reasons we will do everything to restore our home land stolen from us when the evil British created Nigeria. Mind you Nigeria was created for neither you nor me. Rather it was for British business establishment and interest. I wonder why many of you want to die defending what is alien to you. Wake up!!!! Do the right thing!!! Take the shackles off your feet!!!! Fight for your future!! Stand up for yourselves!!! Reclaim your ancient home; Jettison this white-man enslavement called Nigeria so you could reason like human to build a future for yourselves and generation to come. Nothing will ever improve in your lives if you continue to depend on Biafra oil field and gas because those fossil fuels do not build civilization rather your ability to use your brain.
Finally Biafran youths will never compromise their resolve to restore her nation no matter what anybody does. Tell your Buhari to release our leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu he kidnapped. And if not there is an impending doom that will befall the zoo and everyone will suffer the consequences. http://www.thebiafratimes.co/2015/11/open-letter-to-arewa-youths-wake-up-do.html?m=1 |

However, let me add that in case you fell into immorality and you're still guilty and wobbling, you need not just to repent and confess to God, you must expose your infidelity to your spouse, if you're married, but also to your pastor, in any case. Unconfessed sins of fornication, pornography, and masturbation can never be overcome. Tell your pastor of your shady deeds, and don't just accept a pat on the back. Demand for a good deal of time to seek God and be restored under discipline. Tell your spouse and have a conscience void of offence toward man lest you be rejected on the last day. I'm happy to see someone who has this kind of precepts in his heart. If you practice this also then surely you're in the right track. Add to it meditation in the bible as every christain is expected by God to do this and listen to your conscience. The holy spirit uses that also as a medium to direct us. Have a nice night! Brother |

chuna1985: Jesus was a mere man who walked among us, he is no God. The story of Jesus being a God was created by the Romans. Ask urself, Isreal till today are not Christians n do not believe in Jesus Christ. U non Israeli keep running around shouting Jesus is God, lol I pity u all. and where is your proof that he is not God. All i see is a confused man grasping for straws to authenticate his ideas and beliefs. But mind you i never called Jesus God, although it wouldn't be wrong i called him so, and neither did he call himself that. He said, the son of man. And in john he was made known as the word of God, this means Jesus is the spoken word that give man breath, for his sake you live. And in the prophecy of th Messiah it is clear that Jesus is the son of God. You could allow the vanity of thus world and the devil beguile you (deceive you) or you could wisen up and remember nothing last for ever. And in matters about his country, even Jesus spoke about it, in a parable of the banquet where the children who were chosen for the banquet were egocentric, and blinded by the things of the world to come therefore he extended his grace toward the world wide and accepted as many as were willing. The Kingdom of God is not in favor race, but of Those who believe in the Son of God, Jesus Christ. And by whom only, you might be saved. Accept Jesus in you heart today brother, and may you find the true purpose of living. And if he is just a man as you said. Then by what powers or authority did he cast out demons? If you say by the devil, then you agree that the devil exist? And demons do exist? And by the way, can the devil live more than twenty years without once commiting sin, the nemesis of humanity? The plague he uses to play with humans who dance to the flesh. Jesus is the son of God, and is not just a man. You know this, perhaps you're too ashamed to acknowledge it. But wipe your shame today and accept him, he is ready to start anew with you. Mind you in Israel their are christains. Have a nice night |

The whole fornication thing started n ended with Paul thousands of years after God gave the 10 commandments.

"Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery: But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart."
Adultery, not fornication. Jesus meant a married man should not lust after another married man's wife.
Or are u trying to claim that fornication is same as adultery
As I disvirgined, I was a true child of God.
Are u a virgin? (Very important). for the sake of your christainity, I give you this, http://www.religioustolerance.org/sex_jesu.htm please do browse this sight and read from it. that text you quoted speaks about lust, that's its theme, lust, and he never called the category of person. Here he states when a person lust after another who is not his, that person as also committed a sin like that of adultery. For how prone humans are to this, justifies Paul's deduction that "all has sin". You are looking for a leverage to place the righteousness of fornication, but there exist non in the bible, from lust comes fornication, and if you're not allowed to lust, then how can you fornicate? My sex status contrary to your deduction is of no importance as the truth is. And this is the truth |

No one is an island, to give is a sense of maturity, that only some have, some throw away, and that's why most are poor, and those rich don't live long to enjoy their riches. A portion from what you ain is yours, a modicum of it is for God or the devil you serve, the other is for the people you can enrich. This is the true life. Rukemi291: I work with a very wonderful organization and as my job demands, one of my very crucial academic meetings is always held outside Nigeria.
I am also married with a 1yr 11 month old son and pregnant (few weeks gone).... My husband works and lives in a town that is 4hours away from Lagos where I work.
The need for a house help arose when morning sickness started. So I told a lot of people in the office that I needed a girl. Luckily one of the staff told me she could help me send down her half sister who is 15years old and her mum can no longer carter for because they are poor. She said she's also with the girl's elder sister.
I spoke with the girl's mum, she was so excited and prayed for me and all she requested was for her girl to go to school. I promised her that the girl would go to school. The girl was brought to me on 19th October.
So I went in search of a school and I was lucky she was admited into a Lagos State Government School that is close by. The principal said that it was late actually but she doesn't want the girl to be idle at home, so she could resume immediately but her academic session would be from January. I paid all d fees and got her two sets of uniform. She started school early this month.
My son has also started school, so she drops him in school and picks him up when she's back too.
Fast forward to this time, d official assignment that would take me away from the country was close. I couldn't risk leaving her in Lagos with my super active toddler for almost two weeks that I would be away. I had to take them to my husband.
Early on Thursday, 19th, I received a call that my girl had left home with her belongings and she left a note that she was angry with me that I did not let her go to school and that if not that she loved my son ehn.....
My husband's job is a shift- based job and he was on night duty to be back home by 8am the morning she left.
A neighbour called my husband who was at work that the girl took my son to them very early in d morning that we sent her on an errand and that they should borrow her N500. They took my son from her and told her to wait for my husband to return. They said they did not know when she left.
The girl scattered the whole house took all the pieces of meat in d pot, the juice packs at home. I Knew she wouldn't get money, my husband isn't as careless.
My husband spoke with her mum that didn't sound surprised and all she said was that she would scold her when the girl comes home. Yes, d girl is home now. you also are very detailed to what you and what you did not do for her... And I'm sure if she had done you wrong you wouldnt have forgotten, perhaps wouldnt have forgiven. I do not support what that girl did, totally not. But change your heart (we dont need to know all you did for her for you to win our gratitude, concern, affection. Whatever terminology that you can deal with) pride and ego are mistakened for right and proper |

MeandSum: LOL... here comes another attempt at Pascal's wager. There are a million ways to proof otherwise.
Imagine when your time comes and you die only to find out the Muslim "God" is the right one? what do you think would happen to you...I know ... he'll make you one of Osama's 40 virgins forever.
What if Buddhism is the right way? then, be ready to be made a cow for the rest of eternity. Maybe one of the other 5000 Indian Gods are the right one? you can see endless possibilities here.
A believe in God does not guarantee salvation (if there is one to be had), doing good, on the other hand and living a righteous and just life would guarantee an eternal life after your death (if such exist). That does not include blowing up others, or punishing others for sins you think they committed against your God. the bible never encourages so, punishing people for they dont believe. And other worships have a way they represent God the creator. Like indias diwali yearly celebration is for the most high God. Muslim worship the most high God in a misguided way and belief that Mohammed and Jesus are prophets only their preference i Mohammed. Bottom line why the bible should be read among other reasons and christainity pursued is because the old testament tells you about God the creator and the new testament tells you about the new way and religion of which is acceptable by God the creator. Jesus even said it, their is no other acceptable medium to come to God, he is the door, and who ever beliefs in him shall not perish but have everlasting life. The other religions according to Jesus is the window, and whoever comes true the window in our world is considered a thief, same. And Jesus yoke is very light to bear, all he asks is for you to believe in him, to invite him into your heart, and listen to him, the holy spirits he leaves with you when you belief. And he woukd work out your righteousness, and even when you fall the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross, the blood which he shed is alive and ready to wash you clean if you truly repent of your sin in you. The only sin Jesus said that can't be forgiven is when you speak bad of the holy ghost (holy spirit). That can never be forgiven. For this reason did paul say, if because we have such a grace to be forgiven of our sins, should sin abound? This means we should not intentionally sin because of the grace of forgiveness by Jesus. If you read this with in site, and just challenge me and challenge God, pick a bible, preferable KJV and tell God what's on your mind. Read it, God loves good challenges, like I wantgo be a christain, I want to be sure, convicted in my heart of christainity if it is truly real. It does not hurt to try, and would not hurt you now to give this all you got. I pray that Jesus finds you, and show you the truth about the kingdome of heaven and christainity. And he makes you a true christain indeed. in Jesus name, Amen. |

Mummy, contrary to Aunty's method was totally calm and understanding... She told me things I didn't want to hear, like “My pride, my Joy, when an elder tells you not to do this, listen to them for they know why." "You're still too young to go there, plus I won't advice you to go to such places even when you become a grown up man" "you should focus on your education and seek fun in the birthday parties, marriage parties and the other parties you are allowed to attend. that's the real fun,"
For the sake she was calm and motherly as she always was, which is sweet if I may add, I pretended to listen and na wetin help me succeed in my next plan.
As oluwa may have it, when I went to school the next day I heard one of my friends talking about going to a night party , and that sounded like a club to me. I was excited even before asking him to carry me along. 1 Like |
