Christianity EtcHow To Grow As A Child Of God by Jetjacky(op):
I remember last Sunday about crossing a topic that discussed how a Christian should read his bible, although this person had a point, I have to expatiate on what he said.

First I would like to ask you all the same question I asked my junior siblings last week. Why do you read the bible? And why are you a christain?

If someone asks you, an unbeliever perhaps, or if the devil decides to tempt you as he tempted Jesus, and he targets your root in Christianity by asking this simple question, why are you a Christian, what would be your answer?

My sister (junior) said, so she could make heaven. my junior brother could not answer this simple question, despite pondering on the matter.

Truth be told most Christian have no idea why they're who they are. This is why most easily fall from the faith, or do what they are doing today to shame christain race.

Ask yourself.

I know why I'm a Christian, and that is what drives me on even when my pairs in live are frolicking in sin, (things we term immoral, and some we term inappropriate in the time frame we wish to do the did).

And the same happens to every one that knows why he is a Christian, it would make when Satan uses the things of life, both uprising and down rising of situation to tempt you, you won't waiver.

So why are you a christain? Is it so you could escape the damnation that is to come, to make heaven. Or is it because many are doing the same, most of your pairs have the tag Christian on their head. Is that why?

When you've answered this question, let's move to the second.

Why do you read the scripture (the holy bible)?

Jesus told us we should listen to his words and apply them in our life. When you as a christain or an unbeliever reads the Bible, it is the reason why you read the bible that would determine what you get from it. If yours is to read it as a story, well when you're done you would still remain you, if you're the one that wants to read it to find faults, believe me you would find that, because the Bible doesn't come to pretend, it pours out the honest truth that would both hurt a christain and non christain.

Remember the bible is a mirror that shows you who you are, there is a portion for everyone in the bible, both the little sinner, the serious christain, the worldly christain, the true christain, the unbeliever. Which ever category you're in the bible has truth to tell you, which aims at making you a better human being, and a child of God.

THE BEST WAY TO READ THE BIBLE FOR ALL.

Next time you pick a bible to read. Have this objective in heart: I want go be a better person in live, i want to read to understand how to live a good christain life.

The above is for all, whether a christain or not, whether you're what they now call aspiring christain or not. Whether you support religion or not. Read it this way.

STEPS TO AN EFFECTIVE READING.

1) open the bible deliberately, and having the above in mind read a chapter of your choice, flowingly and uninterruptedly(meaning don't stop to pounder or get distracted). I prefer the new testament, for that deals with the grace and the new method of serving God. You can ask me for expatiation.

2) now you're done, reflect on the passage with this question on mind: what are the things this passage is telling me to do and not do as a Christian. Reflect on it thoroughly, if its the new testament, and Jesus is speaking or taking an action, look at it from his view and ask that question, look at it from the people he is admonishing and ask that same question.

3). Now you know what the passage opened your eyes to. Pray. Pray about the passage and what you want God to do for you on that passage. Now invite him, invite his presence, and anointing. Most especially invite the holy spirit. We know we sin one way or the other. And those of us who have the holy spirit in us, this would cause his voice in us to dull, and in no time he would depart from us. That's why its important to invite him in, every time and ask him to direct you, why doing this, you must be serious and determined to listen to him when he speaks. He is the only way you can be able to observe all the instruction giving to us by God. Because we all know that since the days of Adam man has been begatted in sin. This is why it is imperative for us to allow the spirit to lead us. He does this either by speaking to us, if you've that grace, or via your conscience, instinct and dreams. If we listen we would die to our fleshy overwhelming desire, and become more goodly. Besides no be good people way everybody want now?

Plus there is a joy and peace that comes with this obedience that makes us feel complete at that moment. Have you ever felt it? Like you know inside you that you did the right thing.

4) and now is the next important thing, for the soul sake. This is called the quiet time, or meditation. This is when you allow the word of God you read to settle down within you. You keep calm in this moment, close your eyes and ask God to reveal to you his wishes. What you should be doing with your eyes close, is to let the word of God settle in you, then you begin to cross check your life with his word. You branch far and near in his word and your life, notice what he has done for you, and the mistakes you've made. You could play a christain music while you do this to aid your meditation.

Please for your tight schedules read your Bible morning and night, and meditate on it, ponder on it on every leisure time you've. And each situation you face, or rather as you face the day, ask yourself what would Christ want me to do in this situation, and surely by his grace, you would grow to be a good christain and a good person. Have a nice day, and may God bless you and your journey as a christain. Amen

It was around 6pm that we finally left Felix house for the club activity. And by that time my phone battery was already at 15% this was due to the numbers of calls I had been receiving from my worried family. After lots of ignoring the call I ended up lying that I went to night vigil in Felix church. And he was the one that helped me form the lie but I knew my father Mr. Emeka would not buy it. If anything he would be trying every means right now to locate Felix house because he knew I don't usually attend the activities in our church talk more of going to someone else's, but na the lie way come up that time. The case just hopeless.

As NEPA took light felix gave up on going, I had to consistently persuade him before he finally rummaged his wardrobe for a new outfit. But clearly I could see he was mainly doing this for me now and not for him. All the signs I should have placed into consideration, but I did not because I was blinded by my goal.

We boarded a bus to Galax bar. Make una know say I no go write out the real name to avoid putting the club owner in unnecessary problems.

So, it turned out that my conclusion was misplaced for immediately my nerves calmed down and Cynthia had left, Felix told me who she was: his neighbour, and his own free of charge chef. Plus say she was an aspiring girlfriend. Which one be aspiring girlfriend again?

And to show me a proof, there on the small stool was a coated iron plate with cover, (although already opened) with stew and rice plus three meats that was brought by Cynthia for Felix. Chai and immediately the newly made Jocy ship sank.

Felix further infuriated me when he said he could give her to me when he was done with her. Can you imagine? Abi em think say I be second best kind of guy?

I for even slap am that day if not for the clubbing stuff, which made me remember the clothes. “felix iron the clothes na,"

“Guy I day hungry, make I chop finish. Come make we chaw oh," I no need wait make em tell me a second time, I grabbed the spoon he handed over and began my assault on the food.

When we were done eating and clearing the place, Felix began pressing the clothes. I was happy, and dreamy of how my first clubbing activity would be when the room got dark! I looked up to confirm the nightmare, NEPA had indeed taken the light. Omo C Yawa!!!

The British incited the Nigerian civil war simply by saying “that means only them will take the oil” and that was enough to trigger the massacre. For those who still think the British meant well, remember the same British has super interest in a landlocked Zimbabwe and it is outside oil, so why can't they develop such enterprise in the North?
A number of people have suggested true federalism, fiscal federalism, regionalism but that will never work instead the North will be incited to war by the British.
A little look at history shows they were incited to the last war by oil where the British said “it means they will take all the oil alone” and that oil has been embedded on the mind of every Northerner you see.
Only recently, Buhari came into power at a time the same British and Americans stopped buying Nigeria's oil apparently in a bid to create chaos and force Jonathan out. The prices of oil have fallen and oil may soon end up like slaves, palm oil, coal or limestone in the Bight of Biafra still you notice that's where Buhari’s priority is. He also retained the oil ministry because that's how “deep” or otherwise their brain is.Ordinarily. if Buhari was not the character described by Frederick Lugard in his book, shouldn't he be looking to be Agric minister or any other ministry he thinks would be the next?
You may sometimes hear Northerners claim they are being marginalized and other times they say why should Igbos blame us for the situation in Nigeria when their Governors are Igbo. The question remains - if indeed they do not like the situation why do they not want it changed? For a nation that since 1960 till date has been in decline and yet some people claim there is hope is shameful.
Nigeria is being controlled by the British unfortunately and their romance with the Hausa/Fulani is a master/Slave relationship that holds no promise for the Northerners as it were and for black people. The only reason the North copes with the British subjugation of blacks is because the British has identified the North as lacking in aspiration, vision, goal or any destination and they are feudal. The feudalism mentality of the North makes them see the British as God and that we are created to worship them. No matter how bad things are, the Northerners see it as how God has planned it for the blackman and there is nothing that can be done about it.
This is why the likes of Gowon, Obasanjo and Buhari are still proud today to be seen as war heros because they were used by the oyibos to slaughter fellow blacks in a war that was incited by the same oyibos.
The only reason they are not willing to talk about the war is because it is a black man's war. No war has ever been fought with starvation and without adhering to the geneva convention except the Biafran war because it was fought with a group of “incited” folks with no brains of their own.
Please research the number of military contracts and others that the British has gotten since Buhari became President. How can a government that is struggling to pay minimum wage be spending the little money it has on military training? Is it not because the blacks are considered animals like Frederick Lugard said?
In case you quarrel with calling Nigeria a zoo, Frederick Lugard that created Nigeria which you are ready to kill fellow blacks for, assessed blacks as near animals, Fela called Nigeria a zoo, Buhari classified Nigerians as Baboons and Monkeys and Nnamdi Kanu’s tagging of Nigeria as a zoo is neither new nor far from the truth.
Buhari went all the way to New York with taxpayers money to demand the rights of Palestinians as indigenous people, but turns around to arrest Nnamdi Kanu for demanding the rights of Biafrans as indigenous people, is it not because Buhari thinks the Palestinians are oyibo while blacks are of less value.Biafra is a matter of historical record and should have been preserved as such. Please note that the Biafra and Bight of Biafra was what united the people of the old Eastern region before the British created Nigeria and gave them the name “Eastern region”. See maps http:///BVG3CS
You may be doubting what I am saying, but take time and study Oyibo handling of our affairs.
Black people kill fellow blacks with weapons manufactured by oyibo - what do you call that?
Black people kill fellow blacks for oyibo to have oil and power their industries, what do you call that?
I hear some people thinking Obama will offer them some hope, but he is a lackey and the iranians made the same observation few years ago. You can read it at http:///xqAwDf
In summary, before you blame Nnamdi Kanu ask yourself why is Nigeria so unwilling to talk about the war but instead threatens to kill more people?
In your defence of Nigeria, remember One Nigeria favours oyibo than it favours Nigerians.Above all the Frederick Lugard that created Nigeria classified blacks as near animals so why on earth can't black people use their brains? You can read the book at https:///Cev5xg
Nnamdi Kanu’s message is an emancipation of blacks from mental slavery. The British removed competition to destroy black people and surprising they can't see. competition is the biggest driving force for any society but the British using the Hausa/Fulani removed that.Nnamdi Kanu had said the dream is to build a country that can compete with any other country in the world, but those for ONE NIGERIA have neither provided a plan nor a future look ahead for Nigeria.
PoliticsBiafra: Nnamdi Kanu - Beyond The Propaganda By News24 by Jetjacky(op): 8:41pm On Nov 27, 2015
For anyone following events in Nigeria today and the Biafra question, some of the things easily heard are Nnamdi Kanu and Radio Biafra was preaching hate but not too many take time to look at the message in detail.
One of the legacies of the British which they built into the foundation of Nigeria is “lies and fraud” which they did deliberately. This technique was used by the British to totally destroy the North and then use them to destroy black people as much as they could.
Just before you challenge me, ask anyone who tells you Nnamdi Kanu was preaching hate for an example and you hear them.
Let us quickly see the British serpent and their modus operandi and before you criticize me in your mental slavery to the British, look at the North who are supposedly a British friend to understand how a “black friend of the British” looks like - poverty, sickness and disease.
The Portuguese arrived the Bight of Biafra before the British and were buying slaves as they buy oil today. Many local chiefs opposed the slave trade but the Portuguese bought slaves on willing seller and buyer basis to a large extent until the British arrived. When the British arrived they started killing the chiefs that opposed the slave trade.

Also Read: Nigeria faces separatist pressure over oil wealth sharing

The British were brutal and their subjugation of blacks and infact Igbos or Eboes did not start today. The slave ports were like the oil terminals today -still in the Bight of Biafra.Within the Bight of Biafra just two venues - Old Calabar on the Cross River and Bonny in the Niger Delta - supplied the great majority of slaves entering British ships. Overall, Igbos from the Bight of Biafra constituted probably the largest single ethnic group of enslaved Africans entering the British Slave Trade.Further reading is available at http:///NTNNsl. You may read some of the treaties signed with the British at https:///U8AcRR
The British not supporting Biafra did not start today, and the idea of making it look like a Southeast affair is purely a British engineered fraud using their lackeys. The British will never support Biafra as they are happy with their Hausa/Fulani lackeys and their gullibility in the British subjugation of blacks. The British actually referred to the entire Bight of Biafra as Eboes and it is their ability to brainwash black people that has changed the Igbos to South-East only. You can read the Ethnograpy of the African races 3d ed. 1837 - James Cowles Prichard describing the Eboes up to the boundary with Yarriba(Yoruba) -https:///sXo4Sp
It must be noted clearly that the British are all the problems Nigeria has and they use the North to achieve their goal of subjugating black people. Any black person you see violently against Biafra is doing so out of mental slavery. Anywhere you check slavery and the Bight of Biafra, you will see that it was all about the evil of the slave trade and should be preserved.
To examine Nnamdi Kanu’s message beyond the propaganda and see if he is saying the truth or not.We must first remember that mental slavery gives you the illusion of freedom, makes you trust, love and defend your oppressor while making an enemy of those who are trying to free you or open your eyes.
We all saw that during the civil rights movement in the USA, while Martin Luther was fighting for basic rights for blacks Obasanjo, Gowon and Buhari were on the side of the same oyibos slaughtering fellow blacks for oyibo to have oil-- Is this not a shame? Was it not when the Steven Biko and Nelson Mandela were fighting Apartheid in South Africa that the same Obasanjo, Buhari, Adekunle and Gowon sided with the same oppressor to slaughter fellow blacks?
Many Nigerians today hate Nnamdi Kanu simply for trying to open their eyes. The idea of preaching hate follows the British type of lies to justify any action they want to take.
From the history given above, the British has been exploiting the Bight of Biafra since they got there be it Slaves, Coal, Palmoil, Lime and today oil and Gas - thats the British game.

Also Read: South East traders disown Biafra

The Bight of Biafra is so important to the blackman that Obasanjo and other British lackeys should not have been allowed to change it to Bight of Bonny. The Bight of Biafra provided a large number of slaves from Africa more than anywhere else and should have enjoyed preservation. See map at http:///BVG3CS
Nnamdi Kanu criticized both the British and Nigeria but Cameron knowing what type of brain black people have, needed Buhari to stop him and that was what he did. The North that is angry with Nnamdi Kanu, cannot boast of anything they have gained from the service of the British, but they are willing to die for the British to have their way.
Nigeria was never designed to work and will never work and if it has not worked in 100 years, anyone that thinks it will work should give us a date when he or she feels it will start working.
I want to enjoin you the reader to carefully follow the BBC and their reporting of the Biafra protests, the things that happen in Nigeria and how they appear to be siding the North.
I have given the history so you know they don't support the North out of love but because they see them as gullible and easier to incite than any other group. Some people had wondered why won't the British support Biafra and they can have the oil, this is impossible because with the North, all they need is give them the bone to get more wives and they kill anyone who tries to ask questions.

The government should just allow Biafra its freedom!!! Are they blind or do they want to give the citizen of Nigeria another reason to cry?
PoliticsBiafra: Go Your Own Way Says The Economist Newspaper by Jetjacky(op): 3:27pm On Nov 27, 2015
MOST Nigerians do not remember their country’s civil war. A large majority were born years after the 30-month fight between Nigeria and the breakaway region of Biafra, which ended when the secessionists surrendered in 1970. Yet over the past month independence protests have erupted in cities across the south-east, where the self-declared state once was. Agitators say that this time they will not be beaten. “Biafra is a country to be restored,” declares one of them. “We are determined to fight to the end.”

This is a concern for Nigeria’s new government. Secessionist organisations in Biafra have been agitating for years, but analysts reckon the scale of the current marches is unprecedented. Superficially, they were sparked by the arrest of Nnamdi Kanu, the outspoken head of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) movement, and director of Radio Biafra, a pirate station. But the grievances run deep.

Nigeria did not exist until British colonialists drew a line around hundreds of fractious ethnic groups dominated by the Igbo in the east, the Yoruba in the west, and the Hausa-Fulani in the north. The country’s regions have jostled for power ever since. Predominantly Igbo protesters have not forgotten that tens of thousands of their people were killed before Biafra unilaterally declared independence in 1967. Between 1m and 3m people died during the war, many as the rebel territory was starved into defeat. In the 45 years since the war ended, they feel they have been blocked from senior political posts, denied public services, and impoverished by a post-war programme that they say auctioned off their houses and returned just £20 ($320, in today’s money) to them.

In the presidential election in March most south-easterners voted for the incumbent, Goodluck Jonathan, who comes from their region. He lost to Muhammadu Buhari, a Muslim from the north. “#NigeriaWillRot”, Mr Kanu’s radio station declared after the results were announced. Politicians have fired up impressionable agitators by claiming that the new government is marginalising Igbos, says Nnamdi Obasi of the International Crisis Group, a think-tank. In the oil-rich Niger Delta, a revolt beginning in the 1990s was focused more on winning power and a share of the spoils than on ideology. Many analysts think the same is true today.

So far the demonstrations have been mostly peaceful, though locals say shops have been looted and tyres set ablaze, and protesters claim police have killed several of their crew (the police deny those charges). That could change if Mr Kanu is killed or mistreated by Nigerian security agents. Boko Haram sets an unhappy precedent. The Islamist movement became a full-scale insurgency only after its leader, Mohammed Yusuf, was shot in police detention in 2009. Another worry is the impending end of a six-year-old amnesty for militants from the Delta. They could return to violence if it is not extended next month, spelling wider instability in the region.

In charts: Explore Nigeria’s economy and politics
Mr Kanu is not averse to playing with fire. He called for arms earlier this year and an unverified Twitter page in his name is full of extreme rhetoric and images of mutilated Biafrans, which Mr Obasi says often seem to be fake. Last week, his radio station inferred from a Boko Haram bombing that the “killing of Igbos in large scale has already commenced”. Many of his followers speak with an equally intimidating tone. “Give us Biafra or we all die getting Biafra,” one of them proclaims.

The real concern is not alleged government brutality but poor governance. Despite huge oil wealth, Nigerians were twice as likely to be poor in 2010 as they were in 1980. Frustration is not confined to the south-east. Poverty and joblessness have driven conscripts into the arms of Boko Haram terrorists, who want to establish a caliphate in the mostly Muslim north-east. Insurgents battled for self-rule in the Delta until they were paid to stop. Over the years, too many of Nigeria’s politicians have been too busy filling their pockets to think of solving the common underlying problems, ignoring them until they got out of control.

immediately Felix brought out his iron from his wardrobe together with his outfit to begin the work of pressing, person come nock on the door oh. And at that time I was angry toward whoever the knocker was. But by the time Felix pulled the door open to reveal Cynthia, a reddish skin girl, who looked like she was crafted out from the quality beauty itself, I lost my conscious self having been projected to an imaginatory scene of her and I in a field of yellow and green grasses, with the sun reflecting so bright that it made her skin glow, like the goddess she was. She wore a silvery sexy gown, that showed her cleavage and ample amount of her thigh through the v cut. And she had on her a star shaped flower of white and green, and to crown it all up she was smiling at me from far calling me to come catch. Oh my God she had sexy dimples on her.

I quickly texted her “ehe ma pickin" with a smirk emoticon just to get on her nerves. The thunder way person day call a knock on the door strike my heart with fear and I almost jump, but as a big boy way in few hours go dey swim in a river of sweet alluring and radient fermenine bodies I Gaz to calm down. ”who? Is it morning devotion?"

“Yes! Come to the sitting room now," the voice was that of Nkechi my big sister.

Shey una no how God dey use style give us sign say wetin we wan do no good and we go say na ordinary mistake, and continue? I believe the same thing happened to me, how did I ever forget that I never dress this early for school? This almost ruined my plan for me.

As soon as Mumsy and Pupsy saw me, they thought I must be an alien invading their home and their son had travelled to Jupiter. When I insisted it was me, omo you need to see the 120 Q&A I was obliged to answer just to calm down their suspicion.

But finally finally just like superman and those other hero's, I came out victorious.

Now it was time to face destiny, Phyno Iji oku. And fine babes here I come!

Me its originals. I love vampire diary too, but in originals mosttimes the situations theyfacd is totally impossible, and the way they get saved? Almost impossible and risky. But in vd na... Sometimes the way they escape is just easy, and the time they waste in taken answers... And freemanan I hate Bunnys character, at the end.

Nigeria has giant bats...

just saw a couple of giant bats this night at my backyard...

the picture below may not be as clear as you want... the camera strength is the cause

gush they keep running off each time i point a bright touch at them for long... dunno why

they look adorable and large 👍👍😘 @Nationalgeoworld you need to see this...

plus they seem to also eat fruits.. I guess they are among the fruit eaters bat and not vampire bats.. Their eyes glow like the son when light reflect on them, but on picture its all reddish.

Salvation is not for all. If you see yourself rejecting the idea of salvation, then you are most likely not an elect of God. Some people are just born to be fire wood on the judgement day grin

1 Corinthians 2:14

But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
talking to that man or woman is a waste of your anointing, all you can do is to pray if he is a seed of God for the lord jesus to find him, just as he found paul, just as he found Mathew. But if he be not, he can't prevail againsy the word of God. For jesus said i shall build my church on this rock and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

Tell me what you know Mr! Smh...this one na strong meat no be for shildren brah grin. What I wrote is 100% truth, God bears me witness in the holy ghost.... The Antichrist sold the world lies and errors that's why every true child of God needs the spirit of truth (Holy ghost) to distinguish between truth and lies.

The deep calleth the deep...if you see yourself rejecting the truth and clinging to lies, then it's obvious you don't have have the holy spirit. So, go and pray/fast for the baptism of the holy ghost first, then when you receive it discerning the truth wouldn't be a problem.

Shalom.
i percieve you a teacher of the word of God, or one who deeply read and read and follow up the directions of God through the scriptures and your conscience

Majority of Christians don't know what happened in the garden of Eden that's why it's difficult for them to understand why Jesus Christ went to calvary.

People (Especially Christians who are supposed to be in the light) are blind and ignorant of the mystery behind the original sin that's why they don't take their salvation seriously.

When you preach truth, they reject it. Serpent seeds!! no wonder Jesus Christ was calling the Pharisees and Sadducees a generation of vipers....because they are of their Father Cain grin John 8:39-44

Wen people who have no knowledge speak, there's usually no way to help dem.

I am.not alive today because of Jesus, get that into ur thick skull.

Just go n educate urself n stop all these rubbish.
i just cant understand why you choose to be blinded to the truth. So then youre an animal? Who gave you that breath you breath? Why hasn't science been able to proof there is no God and absolutely proof that Humans are animals and not gods. Remember all things were created by God, no matter which theory you chose as your way of human origin God still created them all.

Youre the one in need of an awakening. This dialogue is over. I pray God shows you the light, for I fear the outcome of the path you thread. In Jesus name, Amen
