Please i would like to know why it's only on Sundays we see post of Christ, of religion on nairaland. I mean post that helps spiritual growth. Is it nairaland laws? Or did our pastors go for holidays on the week days?

Curses exists as well as blessings. A curse can be self inflicted; with speaking negatively about yourself or taking actions that provokes curses. And curses can be spoken into someone's life by another but with an intention to harm.
But curses can not come and stay except there's a reason. And Jesus is the reason why it can't come and stay because he became a curse for human race that is cursed by virtue of sin.
When we believe, repent and accept Jesus as our Saviour, he automatically steps in and destroy whatever curse that's prevalent in our individual life.
Read Galatians 2:20, 3:13.

when a believer begins to speak negatively in his or her life, or when someone negative words is left un-rejected even when its not accepted it would follow that person waiting till it is rejected or accepted, and at that moment it begins its negative spin on ones life. That's why is a necessity to pray for unknown and known curses when you pray so Jesus could cancel them all by nailing it on the cross of Calvary

Once a curse is activated on your life, by accepting the curse of someone or cursing yourself, it would begin a negative spin in your life. And until you reject that curse in your life, that spin that curse we continue to work in the persons life

Unlike my other topic on how to pray. This is another reason some prayers you make are not answered because even as a christain you've been cursed. Cursed by your own words or by another.

This is a discussion class, I would like to know what you know about the power of the tongue, and straighten or broaden your knowledge through the bible on cursed and blessing. And also let you know what your mouth or the mouth of others has made you what you're today

The reason things are not well with you today can be as a reason of the curses laid on you, the worse of it all is that even a christain can surfer this also

This is a teaching on how to pray and recieve your answers from God as a Christian

Good morning nairalanders, hope you guys are getting ready for church.

Today i like to share one of the reason why when we pray as christains our prayers are not answered.

Let's open to mark chapter 9:23-24

If youve read this place before you would know that this is the only place where someone asking for help from Jesus did not only show unbelieve but also pride.

Now if you have also read about the two men who went to pray in the temple there was another truth revealed to us. Without wasting further time, this is are the things to observe before praying if you wantgo receive.

1) FAITH: Hebrew 11:6 said, but without faith it is impossible to please God: for he that cometh to him must believe r that he exist and he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him .

My fellow christain in numerous books of the bible it is written of how Jesus cured, delivered and conquered death. But all this he did because those who asked from him asked believeing that he would be able to answer. Even the 5000 thousand believed that Christ was goin to be able to feed them and that's why they obediently sat down. When they did what happened? They got there miracle. What about the woman with the blood flow? Faith. Blind bathemews? Faith

Sometimes the faith of he that is praying is enough, like in the situation of the man in the synagogue who had a devil, or sometimes it would also take the faith of he that is receiving the prayer, like the man whose son was casted out a devil, the centurion, the people who Jesus fed.

Summary: before you pray or ask to be prayed for it is imperative that you have faith.

2) humility: when you have acquired faith, the next thing you need to look at, is the the way you pray, you can't just go in to the father and begin demanding like you own the world, yes it is your right to ask and receive, but how you ask tells if you would receive.

The situation about the rightous man and the sinner praying in the temple is a perfect example. Even the proud father of the child posessed in mark 9:23-24 crumbled to humility. Even the blind man that met Jesus on the way out of the country. There is no need to go further, if you have read your bible carefully, diligently, you would find out that Jesus dont help the proud. Humility is the key


3) pray: when you pray first, thank God. Do you ever note in the bible anytime Jesus prayed he bless the father? Thats gratefulness. You need to be grateful for everything that has happened, including your life that keeps you here.

Finally my brethren don't pray bad prayers, pray good prayers. So long yiu do so, and what you prayed is right for you, like a kid praying for what his hands has not or is not suppose to reach it won't be answered even when he observes this. But when a young girl who has reached to work or the situation she is in makes it necessary pray for a job opportunity she would receive from the father.


Have a nice Sunday, and pray today, observing this steps. Grow in the spirit, and become a true Christian. The days has become more slippery, and the church has more wolves than sheep's, more Judas as disciples. But the true children of God shall shine forth like the light in the miss of darkness. May the lord Jesus open your eyes to the truth around you, and help you grow in the spirit, he should strengthen your faith through things we see in reality and through his words in Jesus name

His Royal Majesty, Eze Kanu, the father of Nnamdi Kanu, has revealed that he will go as far as abdicating his throne for the actualization of a Biafra republic.

Brethren and family of God, i greet you all in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, who loves us and gave himself for us,an everlasting redemption. As we all understand and see before us today, the glaring evidence of the times of the end out of which is the readiness to believe lies and the tendency to tell these lies,a grotesque distortion of truth, by our so called men of God. Perhaps, God of men.

I find it then a neccessity and as well,a great importance to open our eyes to these lies being told to rob us of the Truth. These lies, in various degrees, on the surface might seem "contemporary" harmless but nevertheless its end result,collectively, are objectively destructive.

Here are few, I have noticed in Nigeria as a Nigerian.


3. Faith: Sparkled many confusion. Alterations has been made several times. Each to suit his purpose.End result, collectively are similar. No word I surnized as suffered abused than the word Faith. Pastor prayed for you and the prayer is not answered pastor will shift the blame on you saying you don't have faith. Whereas Faith is simply Trusting God.

faith has to so with more than trusting in God. You said trusting in God, trusting in him for what purpose?

Faith: this is believing that something is when it yet isn't, it is the evidence of things hoped for.

And yes the pastor could be right. If the person does not belied that Jesus can do it, he won't. René.Ber the man who had a son who was infested with a spirit that made him look epileptic, but was worse. He told him to Believe first. The answers of your prayer comes first from believing, humility, and absence of sin. Plus the aproprate time.

All the aforementioned could be the reason someone's prayer us not answered.

This means you must first belief, then in humility ask, first for the forgiveness of your sin to avoid the evil being a hidge to your answer, then you ask. If what you ask is right for you and is in its appropriate time, you would receive.
