Dismissal will be right for these offenders. They become too big in their Uniform assault civilians and intimidate them, they have never fought a war since being engaged as Military. the only war they love is beating helpless citizen who most time leave thing to God.

Romance / Re: Wanted To Marry Her But Found Out She Is Older by Jettage: 9:55am On Jul 13, 2012
http://africanissuestoday./2011/08/04/i-will-marry-tomorrow-2/

I will marry tomorrow
My wedding is tomorrow!
Foul, these vain desires;
Blame it on me.
Maybe tomorrow
To the altar’s oath.
Like many,
We shall walk the aisle.
I, grinning in my genteel gaunt beside blanched ebony.

I will this honour bequeath my beloved tomorrow.

Tomorrow,

The lure of untainted flower,

Its sweet perfume encased in a whorl.

Alas! That which I await is scarce.
This memory will be banished tomorrow.

Tomorrow ,

I must satisfy her.
My labour waits for her belly:
The weary days
The sun

The rains of my struggles
Bear fruit tomorrow.

Tomorrow.

She said, “I will come tomorrow”
Her many delays must end tomorrow
‘cos her quest for vanities are fully spent.
Our wedding shall be tomorrow.

Tomorrow,

Her lust shall be feted
Her feathers of courtship plucked!
The downs, I know, shall be not be rubied
But tomorrow we shall deceitfully walk to the altar.

Tomorrow.
I bid you, wait till tomorrow.
She goes home now to break her bond
With him that was in her dreams only yesterday.

I, shall wait till tomorrow

To make her drink from her fountain of lust.
Her secret desire of a ride to a far country
On her lover’s back, a wish not penny can grant.

Tomorrow.
I must nurture the wounds and scars of another
And regret I never made the first cut.
Yet, she must do it again as before.
But we shall start tomorrow.

Tomorrow
She shall dance like a maiden untouched;
All her lovers in the pew,
Mocking my folly with unspoken memories of their voyages
And I, a victim of blemished womanhood,
Ready to fool the world in “unholy matrimony.”

Tomorrow,
When she parades foolishness for fashion

Then, call her not my wife.
When she fights on the street in rage and fury
Oh, call her not my wife.
When she slips into darkness to drink from the cup of a rival
Please, call her not my wife.
When the stench of her reputation chokes the neighbourhood
Then, remember her not as my wife.
When she regales her mates with tall tales to my hurt
Please, call her not my wife,
When she wraps herself in fineries yet uglier than a mummy
Please, call her not my wife,
When godliness is exited and the fear of God abolished
Please, call her not my wife
Think no shame on me
Then, when she becomes a Matron over innocent children.

But,
I must marry

Tomorrow

Be it for a day before I die.

When honor is bestowed by GEJ should we clap? This administration gave Stephanie a National award and and several others and made Honor like a cheap thing sold in the market. Don't fool yourself, someone is suggesting this compensation to get a Political pass mark and be shielded from his perceived enemies, some Reputable men should have thrown the Honor back Like University of Lagos did in the Case of their "gift Horse" I will only compare a SAN under this Government as cheap. It is better to be honored by the masses than to be honored by the enemy of the masses
SAN rubish, I don't care after all the Judiciary is also in mess

Foreign Affairs / Dame Faka Jonathan Embarrassed Nigerians At The Youth Infusion Summit by Jettage: 9:45am On Jul 11, 2012
It was a Shame watching the embarrassment of Nigerians at the Just concluded Youth infusion Summit in Maryland USA. The wife of Ghanian President read an unscripted speech after which she received applause from the Audience. Our own Fashion faka Dame had a different story despite reading from a Prepared speech, it was dull and drab without any inspiration. It was a great embarrassment for the 350 Million of Nigerians both home and abroad

At the INTERNATIONAL UNESCO Youth Infusion Summit recently held in Maryland, USA
whilst Nigeria's First Lady struggled through her script, Ghana's Mrs Atta Mills gave an inspiring, rousing unscripted delivery to general applause of the audience.

the Script of Mrs Dame Patience Jonathan was scripted but her delivery was Ouch!

Even in small details, Nigeria disappoints. SMH.the problem with typical, traditional Nigerian is mental shallowness and material heaviness. Nigerians must learn to surmount the decency and refinement in appreciating strengths and weaknesses, and avoid embarrassing SELF and ALL.

"Much has been written in the formal and informal media about Nigerian’s most popular blogger Linda Ikeji, this last Monday was a memorable opportunity for a personal conversation with the famous blogger, I took a deliberate swipe on her on personal issues.
I am most happy and comfortable, I could not be more so until I forced every word out from her in a clandestine type of interview. it was for me the most revealing conversation recorded, we had a Long chat as my midget captured every dots of the J and every tittle of the T leaving no stone unturned."

Her Fears are real, I can relate with it. I had a friend who traveled to the UK to find greener pasture after her work gained relevance. she was interview on major media, she decided to stay because her previous life in Lagos was not palatable. she waited for too long for a husband and the people she got were either 419 or struggles. most of the people that comes her way do not have rights of stay in Europe and because she is more materialistic, not wanting to return to her poverty Documents mattered a lot to her.
The last i heard of her is that she got pregnant the Nigerian way and decided to have the baby without wedding
I can name three others who desires to return to Nigeria. but are also not happy about the condition of our lives. the Electricity, the Joblessness, the insecurity and all. I think it is easier to marry here where you have more Blacks than wait for desperate people in Europe and America

Politics / Aregbesola Tricked Pastor Adeboye To Osun State For His Image Laundry by Jettage: 3:06am On May 17, 2012
You may recall that The Presidency sent SSS to OSUN state to monitor the activities of Rauf Aregbesola otherwise known as "Ogbeni" there was an allegation that he was raising Religious Army in south west, an allegation which the governor promptly denied and claiming his association to Christian leaders, especially mentioning Pastor E. A Adeboye and W. F Kumuyi, he also stated that he was supporting the church leaders in a project that will accommodate Christian worshipers in the state

consequently he made a visit to a either a Baptist Church or Anglican Church in the state to affirm his point.
I guess the Governor in a bid to make a public show of his affiliation to men of God, extended a special invitation to the "shon" of the "shoil" Daddy G O. and Baba Not suspecting any Political connotation to the Visit Traveled to Osun state, where as you can see Rauf Aregbesola prepared a ready Paparazzi who ensured that the Pictures taken are words enough to the Public.

One of the pictures is suggesting that a Cheque is being tucked in Baba's pocket. Please don't quote me oo I said "Suggest"

I thought you would add DEEPER LIFE bible church. So you see nothing wrong with the superficial type of Holiness in Deeper Life, where they Tell you "Your spiritual life is our concern" and they do not care what happens to your material life and every other thing. Where the Founder is worshiped as a type of God. where when you are disciplined for rumor, you are treated like a leprous person, Imagine if Jesus were to discipline Peter who denied him and even went a fishing
Don't be deceived. A lot of the people in Mountain of Fire are those who fell out of Deeper Life. Dr. D.K Olukoya is not so good with expounding scriptures, The Dagon Priest Type of Violent prayer seems to be working for them MFM with so much Noise and public prayers and a defeated christian life.
Your List should include Deeper life. They missed the mark too and THERE is no gainsaying this fact

Religion / Bishop Oyedepo Faces N2 Billion Lawsuit For Assaulting Female Church Member by Jettage: 2:32pm On Apr 20, 2012
'SLAPSGIVIN' Pastor David Oyedepo Dragged To Court:

Popular pastor and founder of the Living Faith Christian Church International, David Oyedepo, will face a legal action for slapping a young lady during church service, last year.

Robert Igbinedion, a Lagos based lawyer, confirmed to Premium Times Friday that he had filed a suit, on behalf of the young lady, at the Ogun State High Court for the enforcement of the lady's fundamental rights to freedom from inhuman and degrading treatment, human dignity, fair hearing, and freedom from discrimination.

Mr. Igbinedion is seeking an award of N2bn as 'general and exemplary damages' against Mr. Oyedepo.

"If a wrong is done to the young lady, she is bound to receive justice for that wrong," said Mr. Igbinedion, a Solicitor at Salus Populi Chambers.

In the suit, Mr. Igbinedion said that the young lady, while answering an "illegal" alter call, was trying to explain herself when the pastor gave her "a dirty and thunderous slap."

"The respondent (Mr. Oyedepo) made the alter call for witches to come out, he did not make a similar call for other categories of sinners like illicit drug dealers, contract inflators, fraudsters, adulterers, and fornicators in the church," read the suit.

Mr. Igbinedion, who represented the victims of the celebrated Pastor Emeka Ezeugo (popularly known as Reverend King) at the Magistrate court, in 2006; stated that cases of violence in the place of worship if not nipped in the bud could escalate into 'uncountable' dimensions.

Furthermore, he said the calling out of the young lady (and others) as witches are illegal, unconstitutional, and a breach of Section 34 of the Constitution of Nigeria, African Charter on Human and People's Right, and United Nations Universal Declaration on Human Right.

The suit asked the court to compel Mr. Oyedepo to issue a self-signed public apology to be published in two national dailies and one international satellite television station.

It also wants the respondent to issue a similar alter call for drug dealers, corrupt government officials, bribe-giving contractors, and other category of sinners who are members of the church.

In December last year, a video of Mr. Oyedepo viciously slapping a teenage girl during church service for saying she is "a witch for Jesus" appeared on popular site You Tube.

Though later removed, the video went viral within days with the pastor, fondly called Papa, receiving a lot of stick from outraged viewers and members of the public.

One viewer described the act as "unbiblical, barbaric, and a disgrace."

Days later, another video surfaced in which Mr. Oyedepo tried to justify his action saying "it is my ministry to slap" and that the fact that the witch, rather than going to court, apologized showed his superiority.

"People now complain on the Internet that I slapped a witch. If I see another one, I'll slap," he said in the video

"Who in the world is These?
Toke Makinwa and her ignorance of Linda Ikeji
I read with dismay the seemingly proficient prophylactic deflection tactics of Toke Makinwa on the personality of revered Linda Ikeji. I observed that she practised the craft of crying “Foul” even before the stone that was first cast by her reverberations and turning herself to a target,
When I looked to find her in the chronicle of reputable reference, all that cropped up was odium and rude shock of her vanities, I was compelled by this short response to compare her to Linda, I found no place for comparison for she was of Yesterday and like children of modern days have no regards for the elder thus her vituperation of ignorance
Let me tell you about Linda that you do not know,
The Name has become a household name NOT only in Nigeria, but in Nations of your imaginations, the fact that she started out as a beauty queen is a confirmation of her relevance appreciated when beauty was Natural without the plastic realities, and if you are ever privileged to stand side by side with her, she maintained a rare consistency of her elegance as simple as International celebrity enough to dumbfound critics
Linda Ikeji as a Blogger rules practically in the Google world in Africa and beyond, there is not a search on any matter where Linda is not represented, if there is a way to do gossip, this indeed is the best way to do gossip, You must understand that the fact that the caption on her Blog carries a title “News, Events, Entertainment, Lifestyle, Fashion, Beauty, Inspiration and yes… Gossip! *Wink*” the mention of gossip which was used as derogatory on the personality of Linda in your interview is a tool for little mind who ignores the other information. It show how you feel qualified to speak on matters without knowledge
Apart from being a “GOSIPPER” as you ignorantly concocted Linda is a Celebrity, in fact more celebrated than unknown TV presenter who rides on denigration to get media attention, Linda is also a Philanthropist, of-course you do not know about that, an accomplished entrepreneur
You seemed to use your hatred of her success well in that short piece, with the mention of her relationship with Dan Foster, You should have probed further to know why Linda did not continue with Dan, If you care to Know, It is for her Good Reputation, Linda left Dan on the premise of her Reputation and I am fully aware of it, a commendable thing for a Young charming most sought Lady, Cheap characters like you would rather die having Dan than loose him at the time Linda did
Please desist from your billingsgate ignorance of a renowned Celebrity like Linda Ikeji, work hard to be respected by the internet community and informed readers, rather than granting media interview to gain relevance in the public eye riding on the wings of Linda"

Culture / Are They Leaders? Men Of God Or Rulers And Men Of Greed? by Jettage: 9:57am On Apr 19, 2012
I hate to call it success, The man had no visible investment before becoming President, Governor Minister or Senator, he spent four years or greedily spent 8 years in power, at the end of his tenure, he build a gigantic business estate or empire Called it a Name and yet people grovel around him as a hero, I call him a Thief, because his salary in eight years even if they were saved unspent cannot build such great business empire
Oriental Hotel, Airline and so on……………
Or The Man who claimed he was called by God from the ordinary life to Preach to the Poor, only to lose his focus on his Mandate as a Minister rolling out business empires for selfish gain
Some have Universities, some added Laboratories, secondary schools, Nursery schools, Guest houses, Transport Businesses, they still manage to preach and shout on their pulpits, but you can tell that most of them have become Ichabod “The Glory is departed”
I have lost count of the Church Universities today, Unlike Jesus,
I searched the bible to see if there could be a justification for empires now sending Men agog, one striking scripture that runs against it is
2Tim 2;4 “No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.”
All these scripture speaks against it Yet men are bent in following some men who have left God
Deu 20:5-7; Luk 9:59-62 2Ti 4:10; Luk 8:14; 1Co 9:25-26; 1Ti 6:9-12; 2Pe 2:20 1Co_7:22-23; 2Co_5:9;

Travel / A Thief Passenger On Abuja- Lagos Bound “arik” Airplane On 4th April Instant by Jettage: 11:33am On Apr 05, 2012
A mild drama played out yesterday at the Murtala Mo-hammed Airport, Lagos when one of the passen-gers of Arik Air (names withheld) was accused of stealing a co-passenger’s N200, 000 while onboard the aircraft. The aircraft had de-parted the Nnamdi Aziki-we International Airport, Abuja to MMA. Both pas-sengers were on the business class of the airline when the alleged incident occurred. A source close to the airline confided in Nation-al Mirror that the accused passenger had stood up in the aircraft, opened the overhead cabin, as if he was searching for missing items in his luggage, but allegedly picked the N200, 000 belonging to another passenger in the cabin.

Unfortunately for him, the accused was sighted by other passengers in the cabin when he alleg-edly stole the money and attempted to divert it into his own luggage.

The passengers were said to have immediately informed the cabin crew members of the develop-ment, who, our correspon-dent gathered, swung into action immediately by ac-costing the male suspect, who occupied seat 3C in the aircraft.

On touching down at the Lagos Airport, the passenger was immedi-ately reported to security officials of the airline who transferred him to the avi-ation security personnel of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria.

Politics / Babangida’s Letter To Bola TINUBU, Does The Letter Expose The Pride Of IBB? by Jettage: 3:16am On Mar 31, 2012
A LOVE LETTER FROM GENERAL IBRAHIM B. BABANGIDA, Mni., GCFR..TO ASIWAJU AHMED TINUBU

My dear Asiwaju, today marks your 60th birthday on this putrid plane. There is every need to give thanks to almighty Allah for his care, concern, guidance, and love over you and your family. Since Mama Abibatu Mogaji, our symbol of women activism, introduced you to me for over three decades ago, you have greatly impressed me with your ebullient lifestyle, peculiar politics of convictions, and above all, your strong determination to make the country effectively governed through your management of human and material resources.

As the years grow by, you have continued to show a stronger zeal and determination to make democracy grow by providing alternative platform to engage the ruling party. Your role as an opposition party chieftain and player has remained essential enthralling and significantly illustrative of your human capacity to make things happen. Those kind words of mama Abibatu Mogaji at our first meeting keep echoing in my innermost self, reminding me of the saying that those who succeed in life are those who stoop to conquer. You have remained a strong voice from the south west, reminding all of us of the politics of the second republic when Chief Obafemi Awolowo called the shots and gave voice to the voiceless majority..

I am kind of imagining how it would have been, if your group had not created the opposition Action Congress of Nigeria, to provide a platform to other Nigerians who are not in agreement with the PDP’s exclusive politics. You are not only doing the country a great deal of good, you are creating a political ideology that is driven by convictions to make democracy more attractive to the discerning and ordinary minds. I am further impressed by your clear cut resolve to insist that politics cannot be played as a zero-sum game in such a manner that may plunge the country into one party state. Your style might not be agreeable to everyone, but the message and end product of your struggles and political exploits, leave very positive landmarks for this and unborn generations.

Words alone may not not convey my commendable impressions about you, but at this wonderful celebration of three scores on earth, it is my onerous prayers that Allah will give you stronger and more eventful years ahead in service to our fatherland….

The comments were not very good about the Ruben, Please tell me all you know about Ruben of the Poem on Sahara Reporters

You never get that feeling of appreciation for the people you are standing for. When you stand for the truth, you do not see anyone there for you on the day of attack. Rather, they will all be jostling for political appointments and avoid you like plague. How many people wanted to be associated with Fela Ransome-Kuti? At whatever level you find yourself fighting for Nigerians, you end up feeling so empty because they are never there to join you to fight the fight. So why not Reuben? I am sure years of emptiness finally took their toll on the poor man. It takes courage to fight for Nigerians. You either decide to go about it expecting no appreciation except the presence of students at your burial. OR you decide to go on fighting in loneliness, emptiness and expect beautiful words you will not see at your grave or give up and do Reuben style. Why not, if not?

Are you surporting the government that does not care about you? Just imagine breaking the Law of a Vaccine card otherwhise known as Yellow Paper to gain entry into South Africa, were they wrong to deport your foolish travellers who sees nothing good in Nigeria, or rather damaged Nigeria while seeking greener pastures elsewhere.
Trust me,
My MTN line will be ON against Nigeria.
Our foolish Rulers should hide their shame in the mud
I surport South Africa,
Politics / President Jonathan’s Letter To Pastor Adeboye, He Also Quotes The Bible by Jettage: 4:08am On Mar 04, 2012
President Goodluck Jonathan has congratulated Pastor Enoch Adeboye on the occasion of his 70th birthday.
The president in his letter described pastor Adeboye as a truly inspirational and inspiring leader who has dedicated his life to service in the vineyard of the Lord.
He also described the phenomenal growth of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, (RCCG) as a clear testimony of God’s hand upon the pastor's life and his productive leadership qualities.
He also commended the General Overseer of RCCG for his spiritual and prayerful support to the nation’s leadership at all levels.
"As you attain the highly symbolic landmark age of three-score-and-ten on Friday, March 2, 2012, it is with profound joy that I write on behalf of my family, the Government and people of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and on my own behalf, to express very warm felicitations to you.
"You have lived a truly inspirational and inspiring life of dedicated service in the vineyard of the Lord. Rising above the limitations of a background of deprivation to thrive in academics before going into full time ministry, the phenomenal growth of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, of which you are the General Overseer, clearly testifies to God’s hand upon your life and your productive leadership qualities.
"In these critical times in Nigeria’s developmental history, we need, more than ever before, to seek the face of the Lord. Your readiness at all times to offer spiritual and prayerful support to the nation’s leadership at all levels deserves special commendation.
"As your celebrate this historic day with your nuclear family, your numerous children-in the-Lord, friends and well-wishers, I would like to paraphrase Apostle Paul in his second letter to Timothy by praying that Almighty God continues to empower you to successfully fight the good fight, fruitfully run the course, and continue to keep the faith, until that day when you shall receive the crown of righteousness laid up for you," the president said.

Travel / Re: Driving From Lagos To Abuja by Jettage: 2:00am On Mar 03, 2012
I twice drove to Abuja from Lagos and drove back, it was a great experience for me, when I did, I had no girlfriend to accompany me and still do not have, I do not envy those who have them
But I think it is a good idea to drive in the company of a friend so that you would have someone to discuss with in the journey
The only problem was the Police mounting road blocks, they can be so scary when you are alone, they stop you for no offence and look around for things to STEAL or covet,
On the second occasion, they arrested me for no reason and took me to their police station around after Ibadan, I had to call a Colonel who spoke with them and they let me go
They capitalized on the fact of my being alone because they saw little money which they coveted with me, I was delayed and that made my journey a bit longer than normal
Beware of some Police on that way; they are not friend on that road,
Road safety are too catholic than the Pope on that road
If you don’t drive at Night, you would be 70% safe
I love to do it again, If you have a good car and intend to drive to Abuja, Call me up. Let us do it together it’s Fun +2348095325810
Pls Note: Automatic Cars Only. I stopped driving Manuals some years Backs
