I've carefully examined this topic and I'm really shocked. Not even one response from first bank. I need to move my employees account to gtb after all if I truly look back I haven't gotten any additional financial service after 10yrs of banking with them. They have never even approached me for a loan and I don't owe them anything. The country is hard enough on start-ups trying to survive and financial institutions shouldn't make it harder.

Good day Nairalanders ,please I need to know about this.
I created this New Account to talk about this.
I’m from Delta state, I grew up in the north most of my life , so I don’t know much about Delta, am not happy about that right now.
I want to propose to a Nigerian girl from Delta state she’s from Ukwani Ndokwa West .
Please do anyone knows about this part of Delta state, how they behave, all information is welcome.please no insults
Thanks
are you dating the girl or her tribe or kinsmen? Sorry. Just saw no insults pardon me but really this is 21st century you cant really judge girls by their tribe for instance a delta girl born and bred in london may not necessarily adopt deltan characteristics 100 percent as she may be more enlightened and vast based on experience so you may miss out on a lot of good things she has to offer by limiting the tribe.

i see you have a sweet mouth. Try pinot noir or moscato still. Its sweetened so you will love it. You can just Chen it out in your nearest mall.

I understand , the traffic on that ligali road alone , what I normally do is move up towards fourpoint then come in through water cooperation, that's from landmark towers , anyway maybe they will charge soon or they are trying not to disturb what's happening around other event centers they have around , like film house and hard rock cafe

Hmmm. I think I've found a new route to that axis but you you sure its safe at night because it somewhat looks lonely.

Oh great. Thanks
you know there are different types of red wine with different tones - merlot, syrah, sauvignon, cabernet, petite etc. Try them out and stick to a type. They all have different feel. If you get what vibes you. Once in a while you can treat yourself to it but moscato red or white mostly white summarizes me.

try moscato "white wine"

Nice thread I must admit, albeit your photographing skills needs to be worked on. It wasn't neutrally documented. If you could publicize the faces of the tax collectors, I see no reason why you should blur the face of that fair waitress on white and blue bumshot.

That's aside anyway!

But if truth must be told; a typical Onitsha brought up will choose and prefer to catch his/her fun in River Niger rather than spending at least 10k to visit Oniru Beach just for snapping sake without enjoying the beach.

The only thing they can spend upto 10k for is Biafran Flag.
Are you sure you've been to oniru because I don't think you will remember to snap. Probably it was just her prerogative, its actually interesting.

Don't get me wrong I like landmark but you know how Lagos is. How can a beach close by 10? I had an issue recently. We were supposed to hook up for a party there which we organized and paid for only for us to get there late because of the usual traffic on that road. I had to park and trek down to the beach From ajose that day. Only to get there and they said they had closed by 10pm. A lot of other people who had similar issues were there as well explaining that the traffic was still long and people were still coming all to no avail. Do you know we had to organize another one without refund in oniru. One has to understand the terrain when doing business. Sometimes you can be in traffic at that axis for 3-5 hours.

Chief its money, There are some ladies that wont even listen to you because they can see you cant possibly match up with them financially or even handle their needs. Every lady wants progression. There are ladies you may not even be able to hold conversations with no matter how funny or smart you are but when they know deep down within them that you can make them comfortable they will lower their standards. Many ladies are not broke o forget looks.

Crime / Re: My Recent Tragic Experience With The Police by jeyselassie(m): 2:33pm On Jan 08, 2020
solotutu:
My Experience with Nigerian Police officers on my way to PPA.
A Real Life Experience as Narrated to closest Description.

So yesterday I and my friend who are graduated from EKSU who are NYSC corpers resuming in ENUGU for Posting from Ekiti state were stopped AT A CHECKPOINT by The NPF in the bus and one of us was accused of being a fraudster (Yahoo Yahoo) cos he carried a Laptop and there was tape on the webcam.

He was first suspected cos of his Looks. One of the most insane and annoying Reasons to accuse or suspect someone for fraud.
He was separated from all the passengers and our bus was delayed for 30mins everyone had to alight from the bus.

After denying or agreeing to their forceful advise to confess to what he didn't do. The driver of the bus was asked to drop his load.
And they ordered the bus to go. After paying bus fare and our Destination was still far away imagine such cruelty.

I agreed to stay with my friend and refused to agree with their claims. His phone was Seized and denied access to any of his things. I started to make calls but MTN network was so poor in the region, we were at UDI, FRSC Enugu.

I already knew all these was a ploy to extort money from us so I kept vouching for my friend and saying I can't leave him for them to carry on their threat to take him to EFCC office for questioning Without any evidence seen or gotten from their claim, It was a very messed up situation.

After few mins his load was put in their honda car and the Police in charge said they should take him to EFCC.

My friend agreed to accompany them since they started to talk aggressively and forceful.. note: they were armed and it's early 2020. We know what I'm trying to say.

So I went to talk to the officer in command to let us know how my friend can be freed from whatever crime they said he committed, he said my friend and the two other officers would settle it in the car, that any arrangement (bribe/ Extortion) he wants to do he should settle it with them. He said if my friend had agreed to their claim and not played smart he would just leave us to go (A ploy again for us to implicate ourselves) I was so furious inside me but I kept my cool.

They took my friend and were already driving when I refused to let him go alone the oga called them and said I should go with them.
I had already updated my NYSC group chat and asked people to start calling whoever they could to help us out. The Local Gov Inspector was msgd and called, but he was not answering calls, and the corpers were already active to solve the situation we were facing.

In the car the officer asked my friend to open his phone hoping to see any evidence but he found none. They searched even his bank alert notification and were probably disappointed.

He was allowed to make a phone call after much protesting so he called his mum, and explained what happened... She requested to speak to the officer and she did. She told them we are just coming from Ekiti state and that they should check us well and if there was nothing to say we were Yahoo boys we must be released. She told my friend she would start to make calls... That must have scared them.

We both kept our story straight and telling them that we are not fraudsters and by now they would have seen or gotten what they wanted. I explained that I was a photographer and A PR/ influencer and that our dressing or gadgets is not evidence of us as Yahoo boys. My friend also explained to them that he was a computer science graduate and webcams are usually hacked that's why the webcam was covered. By then they had driven us 20 mins away and passed their Police station already when they said we would pay 100,000 to clear ourselves that we have hidden all the evidence. Such bullshit!!! We told them they'll have to kill us to get the 100k that we came to Enugu to get cleared for the allowance from Fed govt.

The officer driving called the oga and spoke their dialect, I was sure he was saying that the ploy or operation was not successful and that we weren't Yahoo boys they wouldn't get any big payday money from us either ways. So I'm sure he was instructed to return, The car was turned around and we headed back to the checkpoint the Oga was waiting.

Well they got tired I guess and the Oga started to say that we must pay for the fuel in their car since we wasted their time... wow another stunner. Inside life.. I thanked God that my thinking and Jasi was like a marlian...

My friend paid 3,000 as bail/fuel money that's what they called it we were released. All this had happened and then calls started to come in. The LI called me to ask what was happening, I was just furious cos his call came in Late after all had happened. I just replied we had been released. He didn't even ask any more questions he just dropped the call. Mtcheewww.
My friend was pissed and frustrated. A bus was stopped for us and we boarded and left.

It's sad how things like this keep happening daily and in the face of the Government and
Top Officials of the Nigerian police force.
Unapproved Checkpoints of which the main purpose is not carried out.
- Unlawful stop and search of passengers based on appearances,
- - checking of people's phones without warrant or real evidence that the owner is a fraudster or Yahoo whatever.
- Brutal assault to unarmed citizens and youths without cause.
The List goes on and on. Something need to be done. And whoever is ready to do the right thing should start with the little they can do.

Your suggestions are welcomed.

next time chief get 1 name of the officer if possible 2 and their chest tag and paste it here. Guy believe me they will call you bac

Romance / Re: Don't Accuse A Lady Of Cheating If You Won't Marry Her by jeyselassie(m): 7:13am On Jan 06, 2020
Rapmoney:
Recently, I was having a discussion with a younger colleague who confided in me about some relationship issues he has been having with his girlfriend of 4 years.

They young man was of the opinion that his girlfriend has been cheating on him. According to him, she receives long and suspicious calls from 'male admirers' and this gives him worries that she could fall for any of them anytime soon. He had accosted her several times about this act and it had always ended with the response that they are 'mere admirers' and this has led to numerous quarrels between them. Some even turned physical!!!

First, I tried as much as possible to be very objective and logical. I really did not want to be biased despite the work relationship we share. As a realist, I would always state the truth even if it comes out bitter like the gall of a chicken.

From what he told me, he has been dating the girl for 4 years. I asked him if he had made any concrete plan towards tying the knot with her and his response was a negative one. After 4 years, you still dey calculate, dey estimate and approximate whether na she go be your wife or not. Ogbeni, which level you sef dey operate on? I made him to understand that problems are either caused by commission or omission. In his case, the inability or reluctance (omission) to define the relationship and attach a final destination to it through concrete visible plans is the remote cause of the problems.

Women are like flowers; they blossom today and wither away soonest when they are not plucked. You cannot date a lady for years without any concrete plans of marrying her and still turn around and accuse her of cheating on you. What would you expect her to do? If she pressures you to do the needful, you will still be the one who will quickly see her as someone trying to chain you down with marriage.

We should accept truths, no matter how painful they are. I am not in support of cheating in relationships but you do not have any right as a man, be it customary, legal or religious to demand faithfulness from a lady if you are not formally engaged to her. If the finance to coordinate a family is absent and she understands that, two of you can put heads together to see how to reach a compromise. If she is not in, then leave her and let her find her way. Don't leave her on the fence. Work harder and smarter and create a life for yourself.

Marriage is not for boys and girls. Nor be bobo and cheeseballs business. You might make her miss eligible suitors. You should not be the one to be blamed if things later go south for her.

If your inability to tie the knot stems from the fact that you are still young and want to enjoy your life, then you have no business with committed relationships. Get yourself a fvckmate on contract basis to satisfy your sexual urge. E nor dey expensive. If your inability stems from the fact that you are still watching to know whether she is the one or not after couple of years, you are not a serious fellow! Na spectator you be? Let her go. Don't be an obstacle to her marital prospects. You have no authority backed by law or custom to go haywire if you suspect she is cheating on you. My brother, her papa and mama nor know you. Na who bring drinks and kolanut come deh know. Nor be fight.

The socio-economic system witnessed by our parents is far different from what is obtainable today. Things are really not smooth for many young people. Na the one you know you sabi.

This ugly situation has made it difficult for many young ladies to meet eligible suitors. Gone are the days when people date for 7years, 8 years and 10 years. Making your girlfriend commit to only you for couple of years without her seeing any good plan of a future together with you is as bad as evil.

Time waits for nobody. If e no gree you do, ogbeni leave am. Somebody dey for everybody.
what of if she gives you an std before you propose?

I don't see how any sane individual can support the US who are known for war mongering.

First of all the United state are wrong to enter an international air space to fire using a drone on a citizen of another country.

I don't see in the news where a foreign government come into the USA to unleash a weapon. It never happen.

Why does the United state feel they can do that and get away with it?

Did Iran government ask for help before firing that drone?

How ever I you loom at it the United state are wrong.

Up until yesterday this was the first time I'm hear of that man.. And from images and videos I've seen he seem like a man who was loved by Iranian citizens.

If y'all support this.. I hope y'all are gonna support the USA when they come in here and fire a weapon killing Nnamdi kanu or sowore simply because someone labeled them terrorist.
