Obviously, your monthly stipend can go a long way to establish you on your return to home country. 240k is approximately 3million annually. You can save ur stipend to have its equivalent with a reputable cert on return. Be wise!

Op, even though you've just been notified about the interview cos the results of successful candidates are coming out by June, have it in mind that you are accepting the offer. You'll never understand the benefit until you get there. Scholarships are the best.

bank rates are different for such transactions. If u want to change your dollar to Naira at the same GTB it'll be below 320naira/$. We're both right tho

Tuition fee is £12000 = 4.8M Naira
Country Bursary is £1000 = 400k
Total Fee due is £11000 = 4.4M Naira
Estimated Living Cost is £1015 per Month = 406k per Month

To accept your unconditional offer, you’re expected to pay a minimum non-refundable deposit of £5500 = 2.2M Naira to reserve a place on the programme.
The Scholarship programme you were looking up to is on hold (till no date given).

All you have is 1.1M Naira. Your expecting 1.1M from your family but it’s on probability. After looking for a Job in Abuja, haven’t found one.
Your major challenge for Visa Requirements is a Bank Statement with minimum balance of 9M Naira. How will you get yourself sorted out with Brexit wahala in UK and Foreign Exchange wahala in Nigeria and age not being on my side!

For me, I'll advise you contact the school that you would not be available to start your journey to the school yet cos of some unforeseen circumstances, tell them to differ your offer till the next academic session which is usually after 5-6 months or thereabout, your scholarship should be ready by then I believe. Besides, it's always very easy to get an admission in the UK at the Msc level as long as you have the requirements. Just continue to believe in God for the scholarship, scholarships are the best.

you should ask yourself that question young man, what is a scholarship all about?
I'll help you out sha, there are many types of scholarship, you do not have to be the best student in your class or school b4 u get a scholarship, scholarship isn't only for academic excellence. There are Academic scholarships (merit based), example is the one those best students won, then there are unusual scholarships (it might be for those that are bottom of their class, and it is to encourage them and not make them useless. Then there is a need-based scholarship which is for poor people basically. Sports/Athletic scholarship too, there are even scholarships meant for women only.
I hope I have passed a message here, you do not have to be the best b4 winning a scholarship.

Nice points OP, do you have any idea what i could do in this scenario; I applied for an Msc scholarship and sent an application to the same school. Fortunately and unfortunately, i missed out on the scholarship but was offered a place to study my desired course.
Not i have to decline the offer as i do not have any means of paying the fees. What do you think?
