The OP has made her points...in as much as I have seen some very favourable comments complimenting the Op, I'd like to say just like I told the Op of the other thread...U can't change people, u can only change yourself! U can't put a topic out and say silly things girls should/must stop...look, humans will be humans, we always agree to disagree...u can make ur topic present itself more like an advise, observation nd so NOT like a LAW u expect every girl to comply with...stay bless Handysuzy

RomanceRe: Some Very Silly Things Guys Should Stop Doing by jibsai(m):
God bless U bro...great response...none of my bidness if any1 decides to say thank u to a lady on facebook or in fact toast her sef(ko kan aye o). If I meet a gurl in transit and I'd like to meet her again. Is it a crime to collect her number? Nothing like its early mr Op, this is 2014, its better u collect number politely and run your game...
In conclusion Op, I know you are only trying to make some points, its good but, u cannot try and change people, u can only change yourself, if its not working for u, its working for many people out there...Capish!

striktlymi: To stare may just be pushing it but asking guys not to look (at least a glance) would be to deny the very thing that makes us men. We do it out of impulse.

I think it's cool. Some guys do that when they have nothing much to say to the lady. Probably their way of letting the lady know that they are thinking of her. Better to call and say that than not call at all. Nothing wrong there.

I think it's courteous and gentlemanly to say thank you, even when it's something as trivial as getting added on facebook. Though the world need not know. A private message would do just fine.

I don't think any time is too early to ask for a lady's number as long as it is done politely, such that the lady is not embarrassed in the process.

I agree that one shouldn't do wrong to please anyone (male of female), but we are obligated as men to try and make ladies reasonably comfortable.

That's called prostitution I guess.

Politics4 Years After Pact With Chinese…where Is The FG’s N3.7tr Refineries Project? by jibsai(op): 8:55am On Sep 01, 2014
shocked
4 years after the FG & a Chinese consortium signed an agreement for the construction of three greenfield refineries in Lagos,Balyesa & Kogi states, no construction work has
started at the sites of the project
The refineries project, which is to cost $23 Billion (N3.7 trillion), was initiated to shore up the nation’s petroleum refining capacity that has for decades remained at 445,000 barrels per day
My Source is from a pressure group I joined online, I know I have heard this News before but, I don't recollect opening of any of the project...Um! So can anyone shed more light on this.

Thanks

Daninya1: Dt was an emotional one @op...for me,i fell in love with a naive and innocent young girl who was really shy of the male folk and will even run with the speed of Usain bolt when any guy tries to woo her..her bro wu was a medical doctor was a deep disciplinarian who monitored her everymove like a C.I.D...the 1st day i saw her,i wrote a love poem abt her in my song notebook...she started noticing me from afar n we never crossed path ..most tyms,we will catch a glimpse of each other, wen we r streets apart..d 1st day,we came very close to each other,i felt a strong bond taking hold of me..she greeted wit a gud mrn wereas it was ivnin alredy..i just smiled n passed by..der was a day i was singing merrily like a canary bird on d street, all of a sudden she complimented my sweet vocals..we got to knw each other n we got closer..all of a sudden, she started acting strange n evryfyn fell apart...i later discovered dat her mood swing was as a result of some olofofo guards men who reported me to her bro n he threatened to send her back to their family house in southern kaduna...i had to let go cux i dnt wnt to jeopardise her education..love is not selfish...i havn't even stolen a kiss from her till date..we just greet each oda casually wen we meet cux she is always in a hurry not to give me her tym...as i type dix,my hat still beats for her but i gat to let go..

RomanceWhen U Love That Person You Can't Have(will U Settle For Sex??) by jibsai(op):
When you love that special someone that you cannot have, someone you will gladly take a bullet for, you will do insane stuffs to make them feel loved. But yet you can't have them for unjust reasons. I want you fellows to share your experience about how madly you have loved someone at some point but they can't just be yours. I will share mine and I hope you share yours too. Share how you have moved on and how you have wished things were different.

I was madly in love with my Secondary school girlfriend. Funke was really pretty, the first time she worked into my class I felt it within me I gotta get her, I immediately moved my chair to her roll. She was calm, really cute, she only relates with her few friends she was all I hoped for in a woman. Few weeks later I told some of my friends I have fallen in love with her, one of them laughed hard and said am not her type "mehn am a cute boy" I was already the ladies man so why will she wanna say no that was my thought. To cut it shot it took me the whole of that class year. She was cool with me, many times she would tell me how much she cares about me, but she just wouldn't date a guy like me. Her reasons was she wouldn't fight another girl because of a boy in her young life, she told me she doesn't see the great push in me that I wanted her and I should try next term, that will be our SS2 third Term. During the vacation I decided to pull a stunt and I hoped it worked, when resumption day came, back in school as I saw her beautiful face from afar for the first time that faithful monday, I took my eyes away and greeted her casually with her friends. As I worked up the stairs she called me "jibola" she said you asked me for something before the break ain't you gonna ask me again now. I melted at that point, it was unexpected then, I recalled telling her I was a confident boy. I told her "funke be my girl friend, make me complete, occupy your place in my heart" then I walked close to her, held her hands and I told her look in my eyes and said "say you don't love me and I will keep your space empty in my heart hoping you come calling and I'll stop disturbing you". (Lol I must have gotten that line from a Ramsey noah movie)

The thing is she never said YES but I assume the Kiss she gave me meant YES. It was passionate, we both felt it.
Till we both finished SS3 we were the love birds of the school, we sat together, launch breaks she never left my side one moment, on fridays we participated in sports and had plenty of fun. A day to valedatory she said she would follow me home if I want and we can plan our future together...so 3 days after the val party, I took her home ofcos, my parents weren't home, I just finished school so I was super free at home. While @ my crib She told me:
how she wanted to have my kids (3), how my first son will be called Beckham, how we are gonna relocate and live in the U.K, Oh she had plans and she was gonna make it work or so we hoped. There and then I was forced to kiss her lips, that was the first time we were alone in a free house, it was her first time in my house. we did so many things that day, while on my bed she was gonna put off her Panties and allow me have sex with her, it was gonna be our first (both of us were virgins)...But i chickened out when I said I had no condoms and she wouldn't allow me stand up and go buy some. I was scared to have sex, my first without condom, I just don't want a baby after my first sex. I don't know if I'd say I regretted not having that particular ELUSIVE sex that day. Things changed months later she got into a private university, I waited few months to get into school as well. We spoke on phone all the time then things changed, she stopped calling nor texting, if I call she wanna make it fast and brief that was how it was till I jammed her at a club on a sunday evening....I was so stoned that I cried, she took me out and said she was sorry, that the guy met her at her lowest time, she told me the distance between us was chief in the whole event. She did called a couple of times after that and I never saw her again, After about 4 years we were both outta university and doing our different stuffs, I ran into her at a junction while driving with my friend, I screamed her name and she dropped from the bike she was gonna take, she was just has pretty as ever, she told me to take her home so I can know their new house and see her mum and all...After all that and I was gonna leave she dropped the bomb that a week ago she did her introduction and guess what it was the guy that I have seen with her in the club that nite she made me cried. I was calm, smiled and said congrats and wished her all the best. Just as I was gonna enter the car I asked "for old time sake, can I kiss you" she got close and gave me that same type of kiss she gave me 7years earlier ooooh Funke why will you marry now? why not me? You promised me forever, how about my son (beckham). All she did was cry and ran inside, before her wedding day she invited me and added I wish that you do not come. Ofcos I didn't I can't take, that same month she sent pictures and messages. Later she sent some more she was Pregnant, she stays in the UK and guess want she later gave birth and named the baby Beckham
I loved her so much and the truth is that we were age mate and I have come to realise that I was not ready when she got married and now am still not...she was a girl I loved so much but I cant just be with her forever because of the timing...That sex I didn't have with her had at times made me feel like going back in time and have it with or without condom.
Well, we still have contact tho, but I think she is avoiding bin close to me, I was in london for days in transit and she gave all sort of excuses so that we couldn't see. Trust me if I did see her then, sex would have been on my mind. I thank God I didn't

PoliticsRe: Ibadan Isn't, Lagos Is The Largest City In Africa. by jibsai(m):
Well ...all the above is a baseless talk, if you wanna argue city/town I believe u should spend time to observe, u can't say "so I was ibadan" and think you are making any sensible point. In south korea(anywhere with 150k population becomes a city google that.) In the UK (a small place could be a city by right or special grant e.g lister city or hull city, u can't compare it to london or manchester..london city refers to the commercial hub of london alone and not the whole greater london which means london city is a borough council with a mayor and greater london has Lord mayor mind u dats how LG are broken down in the UK) Greater london is a county and london city, fulham, westminster with about 20+ borough council are LG within london nd they work as a cooperation google that too))) now u don't know ibadan so, lemme start ma counter argument
1. Ibadan has more than 2 institutions, I hear of some myself I don't kno all... Few of them are the premier Nigerian versity Ui, Poly ib, leadcity university (Now these ones am gonna list research them and see what they do, u might need it later--->IITA, Niser, institute of agric more plantation, CRIN (cocoa reseash inst of nigeria) school of nursing eleyele, UCH has several colleges awarding various medical/health certificates including nursing, medical biology, chemistry etc nigerian school of jornalism, institute of mathematics and statistics...Ibadan is regarded as the educational capital of Nigeria just like lagos is commercial/financial capital...u displayed your ignorance by not knowing this bro, every informed person know ibadan is home to top schools and hundreds of reseaching centres
Now what do u mean by Mini zoo? UI is one of the very few higher schools in nigeria with a standard and functioning zoological garden (I challenge you to mention others if u know?) There is another zoo inside Agodi gardens so which one are u calling mini most def not UI's and am sure u didn't enter agodi garden so which ZOO are u talking about?

*Landmass of ibadan metropolitan area is largest in nigeria, you are the only one that wanna dispute dat not even kano or kaduna learned peeps will argue. Lagos can't fight us, cos they gat too much water am sure u can check an atlas map to verify. Ibadan is situated inland so we gat land plenty.
What is mini in a museum u def don't know what you are talkin about so I'll let dat pass. Now the fact is "ibadan city" is only 5LGAs of ibadan metropolitan area. An area that start just after fiditi town in Afijio LGA in Oyo zone of Oyo state. Akinyele LGs(northern most part of ibadan) covers over a thousand villages and settlements and has its boundry to ibadan north LGA at Orogun junction just near UI's 2nd gate. The largest LGA in the metropolitan area is Iddo(iddo is the largest town here) just after ibarapa axis of oyo state covering hundreds of towns and settlement including omi adio, apata gaga, kuola all the way to Eleyele/ologun eru area closing boundry with ibadan north and ibadan south west. If u read the below carefully then you might understad that ibadan has gone beyond just a city, it is an international mega city, a city state and a traditional state. An Historical settlement of highest order

What we refer to as "ibadan city" is the 5LGAs dat make up d Metropolitan area.

1. Ibadan north IBNLG--->Areas of Bodija( old bodija, New bodija, University of ibadan, Samonda estate (u can't even buy land here if ur not holding at least 35m cool cash ask around), Mokola axis very big area because there we have mokola hills and downBelow (on the hill, we have the famous Premier hotel am sure u didn't get there!, festac town where we have d cultural centre, the proposed site of ibadan hilton hotel, dandaru dam, down d hill is mokola roundabout and the new mokola overHead bridge, ibnLG is home to sango, Oke-itunu and the great Poly ibadan.

2. Ibadan north east IBNELG (Agodi where we have Government secretariat, it was also used for old westen region, Agodi gardens is near, there is a zoo in it and amazing botanical landscape (so which mini zoo are u talking about?) There is agodi GRA (where the Governor stays, Top guns live here, trust me u must be filty rich to live there, Ibadan civic centre is here Odua shopping center is next to it) Abayomi, Agodi Gate where we have the imposing Abdulazeez arisekola mosque with a massive expansive gold Dome) agodi/gate is a commercial hub leading to ife road, iwo road this road leads to Ibadan Airport where flights are operating daily. Massive populations in all these places bro)

3.Ibadan North West IBNW: (The area links part of old ibadan city ((where you people that are ignorant of our city call dusty/muddy)) to d commercial/financial hub of ibadan. These newer and reservered places are super cool from d old side like opo, orita-merin, inalende, oniyanrin where we had Nitel SW HQ, to d popuplar markets of Ogunpa, old gbagi, agbeni, oke padre, ifeleye, amunigun, Dugbe CBD where we have d bank road, cocoa house HQ of Odua investment company, the heritage mall and cocoamall where we have shoprite, filmhouse, mr price, and several international offices and outlets, Radio Nigeria ibadan national station, CBN tower, Aje house, Towers of UBA, Union bank, Skye bank, Oxford, leventis and the famous Femi johnson Glass house Ibadan's oldest night club CocoA DOME owned by the lebanese is near cocoa house ...These places further links the white/lebanese/chinese dominated areas of Onireke there is a chinese resturant here, Onireke GRA where several foreign schools are. There is Sabo wigatap estate its owned by LG its a bulk of 2 and 3bedroom flats all in 3_4 storey rumours has it dat u will need to pay heavy for it. Then, Adamasigba is d border mokola which is in IBN. Adamasigba is famous for lekan salami ssport complex, home of 3sc team. Also @ IbNw Jericho where we have d popular magazine road dat houses many leading publishing firms, jericho nursing home, Dstv sw Office is also here.

4. Ibadan south east IBSELG(This is the core old city area like Mapo u must have heard of famous Mapo Hall ofcos everybody knows it, Oja'ba where olubadan's palace is located, kudeti where we have the first church in ibadan an anglican church, Yejide, Elekuro where we have d prestigeous Wesley college, sanyo, soka(u heard of soka saga), ode aje, Molete, the palacial residence of late lamidi Adedibu is here the molete overhead bridge is d boundry that leads U into Newer, Fresher Ibadan (I.e Ibadan south west.) SE is densely populated and that's where u find majority of old buildings and brown roofs

5. Ibadan South West IBSW: (This is one of the most choiced area, its the area for the big men am not sure u got here during your visit OP? You can never explore only this LGA in a year. This is where we have Bola ige international market aleshinloye, Alalubosa GRA wow! Bro if u have 40-50m u can get a land there too, we have the famous Ring Road lenting about 10-15km and on the road you will find thousands of modern sophisticated buildings public and private..Examples? Newly opened biggest Shoprite inside the Ibadan city mall is on this road, High court is opposite, Wallans hotel(formally D.rovans) is on d road, travel house the only hotel that charge u 9k/nite no matter which room u are staying is on Ring road, crownTrust, Dhl, fedex, Kfc, Mtn ibadan office, honda motors, kia motors, the concord shool, several banks, law firms and commercial firm are on the ring road...now off ring road I.e the inner streets my brother those places are massive IBsw is one of the most industrialized places in nigeria cos there is Oluyole industrial extention and several industries are here summal, yale foods, ok foods, zartech, pepsi, rcc, pw..e.t.c, Oluyole estate is residential area the governor of d state has his home here, oluyole extention is different, that place is rapidly growing all these are on your right inward as u move on the ringroad starting from the 1st ring(if u don't get it don't worry, just ask where the the ring is starting from. On the left inward you have the famous oni and sons, Ajeigbe and joiceB residential areas its made up of houses for middle class family or persons and many top guys too, mostly bulk of flats, 3storey room apartments...so u can say the left of ringroad inward is for middle class and right inward for big boys...also at IBsw we have the famous oke-bola where we have st james cathedral, the great ibadan boys high school Baptist building etc, @oke-bola-dugbe road is the boundry btw IBNW and IBSW oke-ado where we have the famous and first standard nigerian stadium liberty stadium, prestigous jogor centre is here, ibsw is home to Nigeria tobacco company thats why we have NTC road, near it is Olubadan stadium 2 stadia in one LGA lol, ibsw is home to the fabulous Kakanfo inn @joiceB off ringroad, ibsw is home splash fm. 105.5 most listened radio in Southwest nigeria @felele this area is massive and thousands of peeps live here. Several foreigners especially Americans and britts stay @iyaganku GRA, they even have a private bar and chill center @ iyaganku GRA where a bottle of beer is 1k ask around, Rotary club house is somewhere around,am sure u didn't get there, iyanganku is badass area u need money to survive here brother, ibsw is home to the popular Challege and Orita challenge areas, here you have yinka Ayefele's music house, the road network of ibsw from ringroad---orita challenge is amazing u should ask need to see it
This is Ibadan city if you can cover these 5LGAs the remaining 6 LGAs that surround the city are metropolitan areas...
NB a place with a population of over 3million people is a city no matter what your argument can be...Ibadan has history, landmass, massive population, Technology, mobility, great educational culture, nature and ofcos we gat sweggggg..Whatelse shall we call ibadan If not a cityhuh
SportsKeshi’s Contract Will Be Resolved Soon<<--minister by jibsai(op): 6:29am On Aug 29, 2014
Coach Stephen Keshi’scontract negotiations will be fully resolved soon, Sports Minister Tammy Danagogo has revealed. The minister also said that Keshi actually requested for a monthly salary of 6million Naira contrary to the N15m he was rumoured to have demanded forHowever, he blamed the NFF crisis for the delay in sealing the Coach’s contract.

“The NFF has been negotiating with Stephen Keshi but apparently because of the situation on ground the negotiation has not been very successful. If you look at it, his contract expired about when we just exited the 2014 World Cup in Brazil,” Danagogo said.

“Apparently the NFF as at then was not very eager to re-negotiate with him. So we (National Sports Commission) were trying to see whether the NFF will negotiate with him. They were on that when a few things stated coming up. Then Maigari left, Maigari was suspended and Mike Umeh came in. Umeh then commenced negotiation with him (Keshi) but negotiation was stalled because they couldn’t agree on the remuneration.

“We again told Umeh to allow Maigari to come in to finish his tenure and do a peaceful election. From that Maigari came back and they too said that that amount of money they won’t be able to agree with it.

“Then I look at it that we have a match on the 6th of September, why do we unduly delay the contract. So I called Keshi personally to know what the issues were. He told me what they have offered him and what he has asked to be paid.

“I asked him if he is desirous to do the job. He said he is desirous and I told him I will undertake to see that when the dust is settled on the NFF issue we will get him and the NFF to sit down and sign the contract. I then asked him to come and do the work and if need be the Ministry can pay him. I told him if the NFF cannot pay him the NSC can pay for things to be done.

“He then told me for the love of his country he will come and start and when the NFF is settled they can agree. What they have offered and what Keshi is demanding is not even more than a million naira difference. It is just for the NFF to be settled and then Keshi’s contract will be signed.  The issue of what to pay Keshi is no longer a challenge.

“Even with what I have discussed with him now he can even waive that. So it is now left for the two sides to sit down, sign the contract and also agree on other issues in the contract. The issues to be resolved are assistant coaches, and so on. These are the details to be sorted out,” Danagogo concluded.

ravingfred: Exactly. Nothing is free in ANY industry. My services are free now because I'm just starting out. There is no "catch", no secret charge and no competitions but you can't expect me to pay for the expenses of someone else's video.

A person who thinks he can run the music industry with exactly N0.00 is seriously dreaming.

This is as free as it gets and this is what I'm offering.
Goodluck!!!
