PhonesBBM To Be On IOS And Android Soon!! by Jibsonified(op): 10:49pm On Jun 10, 2013
Great news to the android freaks especially...

BlackBerry Messenger will be arriving on iOS and Android in exactly three weeks. T-Mobile UK revealed the date on Twitter, teasing a photo of the previously BlackBerry-exclusive chat service running on a Galaxy S3. BlackBerry announced last month that BBM would be going cross-platform sometime during the summer, and that its first release would support devices running iOS 6 and Android 4.0 or higher. CEO Thorsten Heins said at the time that bringing the chat service to other platforms was a sign of confidence — but while BBM may have been a unique service several years ago, it’s now going up against built-in services like iMessage, whatsapp, Hangouts

This was the tweet posted by T-mobile>>>Great news – BlackBerry Messenger will be available to download on iOS and Android from June 27th! #BBM

— T-MOBILE UK (@TMobileUK) June 6, 2013

However BlackBerry updated that the release date revealed by T-Mobile UK is inaccurate. BlackBerry’s full statement is below¶¶¶

On May 14th, BlackBerry announced plans to make its ground-breaking mobile social network, BlackBerry Messenger (BBM), available to iOS and Android users this summer, subject to approval by the Apple App Store and Google Play. While there have been reports that BBM will be available to iOS and Android on June 27th, this is not accurate. We will communicate an update as soon as we have an availability date to share.

EducationRe: Unilag Students Protest High Cost Of Living by Jibsonified(m): 5:23pm On Jun 10, 2013
Graduated from Unilag n yeah things are expensive but tell me is it their fault?... d school charge shop owners n other provision sellers very high... and that is how the school policy on making money by themselves goes... the auditorium, halls, sport centre, d Unilag consult, ventures n other merchandise account for the money they make.. else the school fees won't b among d cheapest among higher institution esp. for a high class school it is. So d xtra 5N n 10N on price of tinz is a by product of what we enjoy n its typical of any place where Students are found not only Unilag

HealthDrinking Water On An Empty Stomach Cures Alot Of Disease by Jibsonified(op): 8:31pm On Feb 26, 2013
~~DRINK WATER ON EMPTY STOMACH~~

It is popular in Japan today to drink water immediately after waking up every morning. Furthermore, scientific tests have proven its value. I'm sure u must have heard it b4 n maybe u dont take it seriously.. buh my father that lived up to 96 yrs did this regularly

For old and serious diseases as well as modern illnesses the water treatment had been found successful by a Japanese medical society as a 100% cure for the following diseases:

Headache, body ache, heart system, arthritis, fast heart beat, epilepsy, excess fatness, bronchitis asthma, TB, meningitis, kidney and urine diseases, vomiting, gastritis, diarrhea, piles, diabetes, constipation, all eye diseases, womb, cancer and menstrual disorders, ear nose and throat diseases.

METHOD OF TREATMENT
1. As you wake up in the morning before brushing teeth, drink 4 x 160ml glasses of water

2. Brush and clean the mouth but do not eat or drink anything for 45 minute

3.. After 45 minutes you may eat and drink as normal.

4. After 15 minutes of breakfast, lunch and dinner do not eat or drink anything for 2 hours

5. Those who are old or sick and are unable to drink 4 glasses of water at the beginning may commence by taking little water and gradually increase it to 4 glasses per day.

6. The above method of treatment will cure diseases of the sick and others can enjoy a healthy life.

The following list gives the number of days of treatment required to cure/control/reduce main diseases:
1. High Blood Pressure (30 days)
2. Gastric (10 days)
3. Diabetes (30 days)
4. Constipation (10 days)
5. Cancer (180 days)
6. TB (90 days)
7. Arthritis patients should follow the above treatment only for 3 days in the 1st week, and from 2nd week onwards – daily..

This treatment method has no side effects, however at the commencement of treatment you may have to urinate a few times.
It is better if we continue this and make this procedure as a routine work in our life. Drink Water and Stay healthy and Active.

This makes sense .. The Chinese and Japanese drink hot tea with their meals not cold water. Maybe it is time we adopt their drinking habit while eating!!! Nothing to lose, everything to gain...

For those who wouldn't take water or any other drink without it spending life imprisonment in d fridge, this article is applicable to you.
It is nice to have a cup of cold drink after a meal. However, the cold water will solidify the oily stuff that you have just consumed to form a sludge. It will slow down the digestion.

Once this 'sludge' reacts with the acid, it will break down and be absorbed by the intestine faster than the solid food. It will line the intestine.
Very soon, this will turn into fats and lead to cancer. It is best to drink hot soup or warm water after a meal.

A serious note about heart attacks:

· Women should know that not every heart attack symptom is going to be the left arm hurting,
· Be aware of intense pain in the jaw line.
· You may never have the first chest pain during the course of a heart attack.
· Nausea and intense sweating are also common symptoms.
· 60% of people who have a heart attack while they are asleep do not wake up.
· Pain in the jaw can wake you from a sound sleep.

Let's be careful and be aware. pls no negative criticism cos some NLanders put up such and later follow what they criticise but their criticism affects other persons view negatively. The more we know, the better chance we could survive...

PoliticsRe: 20 Interesting Things About Alvan Ikoku by Jibsonified(m): 12:37pm On Feb 23, 2013
I must say this is a great info of our national hero..(though personally m not into patriotism n politics lyk that).. however the life n times of this man is an interesting and inspiring one, I know of Awolowo, Azikwe, Ahmadu Bello, Herbert Macaulay etc (thanks to Social studies in primary school n personall reading) but I've seem to skip Alvan Ikoku, I only vaguely knew he was an educationist.. well thanks OP for this informative post.

I will like to note some things about the man: He had had SG Ikoku at the age of 22 (judging from d fact he was born 1900 and SG Ikoku was born 1922)and from what d OP posted he had an elder son! who was mentioned to b d former FVC of FUT. Abeokuta I'm like wow! so they had early marraige then or what!..well Alvan Ikoku came from a wealthy family tho.. so money no go eva be problem..unlike Awolowo that had a poor begining and even Azikwe that had to try a stowing-away to get to abroad(so I heard o).

Well this life of these people have been full of zeal for a change but reverse is what we find these days.. in fact the Ten Naira where his pix is is about to go into extinction, so is their values in Nigeria.. Only God's Kingdom can bring a change.
