This boooook!!! You just took me down the sweet memories of my Dad, he introduced me to this book, talked about Robinson Crusoe like as if he was a real person. He kept using the man to illustrate Survival Techniques that one must have. I kept imagining how a man could stay under the sea breathless in order to get supplies up for his solitary life on the island. I had to look for the book myself to buy it and present it to him as a surprise. I bought the one written by Daniel Defoe himself. It was a roller coaster of deeply worded story about the reflection of a young boy while on an adventure of sea travel and eventual casting away to an island where no man lived. The part of Friday was very hilarious!!! I love Friday. The way he was taught to leave his savage life was phenomenal. That book is classic. I can't wait to to introduce to my kids. |

I have used both of them, and this is what I observed, Branch does not approve high amount at initial application, but Fairmoney can approve even 200K on the first try. Meaning that the higher the risk they are taking in giving you a loan, the more interest they charge. So I think they do this to offer comparative advantage over each other, one just have to know which one meets his own needs with less interest. 73O9: |
Yes I am, the sensibility there is comparative advantage, some other Loan Apps charge higher. The person I quoted claimed a high interest rate without mentioning how many month he had to pay the loan, mine was two months. Secondly, the sensible thing in applying for a loan from Fintech is that you have a leverage of technology to get a huge amont of money even for the first time, which is a high risk to the Fintech Banks, so how do you expect them to cover for the high risk? they will of course charge high interest rate per month. Or do you expect them to charge low interest rates like that of NIRSAL or government linked banks that give loans to very few on nepotism? seborrhic: |
From what I heard, GTBank isn't accepted. A few banks like Stanbic, Zenith, Uba are accepted |
mranova:Not true at all. I borrowed 100K and paid back 124K within 2 months. |

[quote author=pragmatistm post=98589273]She felt she might not be AA because she does not often fall sick of malaria like it used to happen to most AAs. That's why she did it repeatedly before marriage. Hmm... what you said here is a huge fallacy. AS are the ones not prone to having Malaria, since the morphology of their Red Blood Cell does not support thriving of malaria parasite. The actual reason for the existence of the Sickle Cell trait is that african body system developed the trait in order to adapt to the perenial Malaria diseases. Hence, for her not have fallen sick all this while when her siblings do is a huge indication that she is AS . |

Hello Nairalanders. Please I am about to pay Mojec meter here in Gbagada, I have been mailed with the account number... They included a number which has been switched off. I need to know what are the differences between Single and Three phase meter... Can I change the Three phase meter approved to single phase.. After payment where should I go to confirm receipt of the payment? How should one link IKEDC with this development so that the meter can be activated. I believe MOJEC or whoever are in charge should have furnished us this info... but here we are ...so clueless about what they are supposed to provide for us. I will appreciate the forum's positive contribution |

OP, it is Lagos State Material Testing Laboratory. NOT Ministry of Solid Material Testing Agency |
ornicus:Well... this will be the first time I am giving credence to a story... This incident happened truly ... on thursday Morning on third mainland bridge, I got to know while urgently responding to a friend of mine that also fell victim of one-chance, while we were close to General Hospital, a lady came looking of Palm Oil, she was amidst tears. She narrated exactly what was posted here... She mentioned his name: Emmanuel and expressed optimism that the boy should survive. She said the doctors were attending to him, trying to purge his system off the Sniper. I was shocked with disbelief how so called humans could be so animalistic, questions raced my my mind as to why a robber woud carry sniper around... I'm like what !!!! Many humans are walking about, but some are hyenas in human skin!! Now this news hit me hard, because this time, it would have happened to my friend also... Only that she was very very very fortunate that she escaped unhurt... only her ATMs were taken from her... Matter of fact, she was almost raped, and as she said they were looking for people that will be taken to a Baba that will harvest their organs!!. She is still traumatises till now... she only felt a bit relieved hearing of this Emmanuel's case that happened the same time and almost the same place. From what the lady narrated, who I believe is Emmanuel's boyfriend, she said Emmanuel took a bike from Iyana Oworo-Berger, he shared the bike with another passenger. In case you don't Iyana Oworo-Berger, Google it. That place is the closest bus stop towards the Third Mainland Bridge, as from 5AM, that place is always filled up with so many commuters, and few buses... So it is always a rush, fight to finish to get a bus. So, people also opt to take bike, sometimes with another person you don't know... (you will of course assume he/she is a fellow passenger), but for Emmanuel's case, the fellow passenger is cohort to the criminal-minded bike man. So he must have been in the middle and when they rode far into the road, they descended on him... God knows what tussle must have ensued leading to forcing Sniper on him and throwing him into the Lagoon. I am typing with urgent fury at the situation of this country, tens if not hundreds of people fall victim of one-chance, kidnapping, organ harvest an so on everyday especially in this Lagos, all because we want to go to work and earn our daily bread!! Nowhere is safe in this country, Public buses: very hard to find, if you get one, just pray you don't encounter accident. Private Cars... At your risk!!! I just pray that the family of Emmanuel are able to find comfort. |
What is the bus doing with delivering diesel .. instead of tanker. |
