He is just a glorified attention seeker. He can't shock me. He should change his sex and stop fooling around. Then move to San Francisco to be with his kind.
Orikinla: Dear Nigerian Press, Please Stop Insulting Onyeka Onwenu By Calling Her "Elegant Stallion"
For decades since our days at the Nigeria Television Authority (NTA) to date, I have been hearing and reading members of the Nigerian press and entertainment industry calling Nigerian music diva Onyeka Onwenu, the "Elegant Stallion" and she always seemed to have agreed and nodded in approval.
How could she accept such an insult when she knows what a stallion is?
A Stallion is a male horse that has not been gelded (castrated). Stallion is also a male who is able to conduct sexual intercourse for hours on end. Calling any woman a stallion, elegant or not is an insult and not a compliment.
A prominent Nigerian actor made the same mistake live on stage at the much publicized Showbiz Interactive with former President Goodluck Jonathan on March 15, 2015 at the Eko Hotel & Suites on Victoria Island, Lagos. And she still did not correct him. The erroneous description is now in her biographical profiles in the encyclopedia and Wikipedia!
Please, Onyeka Onwenu is not an elegant stallion. You can call her elegant diva or elegant songstress.
I will agree with you on this but I also think that the moniker has nothing to do with the sex of a stallion but rather it's qualities. It is strong, graceful and beautiful in motion.
londonrivals: Super Eagles Coach Sunday Oliseh has revealed that Mikel Obi snubbed all attempts to reach him before the compilation of the list of foreign based players for the Afcon qualifier against Tanzania.
Oliseh told journalists that he invited the Chelsea duo of Mikel and Victor Moses for an appointment but only the latter honored the call.
” I went to make contact, but I never got a reply or call back whereas Victor Moses came, we traveled to London and he (Mikel) was the only player that did not come for the appointment.”
brixton: That's my president! While bubu kardashian and chanji clowns are shouting probe in newspapers, President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan is enjoying his well deserved retirement life.
God bless my amiable PGEJ!!
Children of hate, how do u like d below pic and Linda' comment?
If he had done so well as president he wouldn't have to go to another man's country to enjoy tourism.
Smoke2015: Yesterday evening an MDB reader forwarded the picture and video which was trending on WhatsApp, of this lady pictured above who allegedly committed suicide in the US after finding out that her husband was sleeping with her mum. The lady who according to unconfirmed reports circulating online is Ghanaian, and she jumped from a high rise to her death and nobody was able to save her. Don't know how recent the story is though, but see the very sad, and chilling video after the cut. Viewer descretion.
After watching the video, the following questions came to mind, regardless of the facts surrounding the case. Why did the Police and other officials not make effort to get some form mattress(es), or foam around the point she may have landed? From the video it was obvious that she must have been seen dangling on the balcony for a while which led to the Police been alerted in the first place. Why didn't any one make any sort of effort to catch the individual or is that possible only in movies? I honestly do not understand this video and I think rather that just stand around and watch the balcony, perhaps more could have been done to save the victims life. On the other hand, if the story been circulated is by any chance true, why in the world will anyone commit suicide for this reason, especially a mother who has a baby? How does suicide solve the problem? I really do NOT understand this. The sound of the person landing alone is very chilling and sad. Do leave your comments.
She should have thrown her mum over the balcony instead. But seriously I think it's a crazy thing to do. She should have thought about her child above everything else. Leave her cheating husband and mother and don't look back. So sad.
ROSSIKE: I think we can stop blaming Mourinho now, even though it is true, what you said about him. Fact is Mikel STILL has the ability to be a great attacking midfielder, but is simply not taking the steps to move to a club where he can show his ability.
Did you watch Nigeria v Spain at the last Confederations Cup?
Mikel was the best player on the pitch in my view. Playing as an attacking midfielder, he completely dominated the midfield against the then world champions.
So he still has it.
For his sake, let's hope so...but I won't hold my breath..
[quote author=emorse post=36766037]No na. Mourinho bought him injured in 2009. He had recovered but had not gained match fitness in 2010 when Mourinho left to Inter. He was sold to Benfica in 2011 by Scolari and not by Mourinho. Ozil, Modric, Sneijder,, Essien, Milito, are a few names who shone brightly under Mourinho but not as much afterwards. Mikel's destiny, like everyone else's, is in his own hands. Not Mourinho's.[/quote
Well he is getting to the end of career. That is his path. We will look ahead for a Nigerian Messi. Nice talking to you.
emorse: Taiye Taiwo was the third best player in that tournament. Obasi was brilliant. Ibrahim Affelay (made a big-money move to barca afterwards), Ryan Babel (went to Liverpool afterwards), Filipe Luis, Fernando Llorente, Raphael, Ezequel Garay, Fernando Gago to name a few were prominent features of that tournament. A good number of them kept their playing positions yet only a few of them have been as successful as Mikel. Cut the lad some slack. Its not easy to play top level football in any capacity for ten years stretch. Not everyone can be like the Messis and Ronaldos of this world.
This is not to say Mikel is as good as he could have ever been. A bit of hard work from him can still make him better. Blaming Mourinho is just misplaced in my opinion.
So who do you want to blame? I think Mourinho is the most selfish and despotic managers around. He has ruined a good many players in his mad desire to win. He forgets about the human factor in football. Look at Mohammed Salah he snatched him from his club used and dumped him. What about Matic who he dumped early in his career with Chelsea then some coach picked him up and made him shine. Mourinho shamelessly bought him again! Curadado all of a sudden is not good also Kevin de Bruyne too. As far as I am concerned he is responsible for Mikel's career even though part of the blame goes to Mikel because he just refused to improve on his attacking ability. I can't imagine why he is so content being such a timid player. I'm really sad for him because he could have been a mega star like Messi.
Cdstars: Do you know that Mikel may now be playing for MK dons if he signed for Manchester United.
Anything is possible but if his creative ability was nurtured he might have been playing for Real Madrid. If you watched Mikel during the 2005 u 20 world cup he was a fantastic attacking midfielder. But Mourinho turned him into the most timid and boring defensive midfielder. In fact he one of the only midfielders in the league that doesn't score goals. Just a dire boring player that spends most of time shinning the bench. What a waste.
timijoseph01: Ok... Letz hope he doesnt turn out to be a ''Mikel''.. Wud be 9ce watching him play evry week in the best league in d world.. Cogratz little boy
My guy it's all over for Mikel. He has put money before fame. So he has the money but he will never be a. messi. I hope Ihenacho will stay true to his abilities Because fame will come first before the money tumbles in!
jidebaba69: That's true. I think he has done this before.
I just got the real gist of the matter!
When my wife saw the picture of the boy holding the dead child she pointed out that there were no blood stains on the boy clothes also on his hands. I thought it strange, since the police said he caught in the act. I later found out that boy is a little slow and even though he was 16 he has the intelligence of a 5 year old. He is known to play with children of 4-5yrs. On that day he went with the little boy to play and met some men. On noticing that he was slow they asked him to help them buy food. Which he did. On his return he could not find the men or the boy he came with. He ate the food and then went home. Later in the day the parents of little boy began searching for their child. The dimwit boy then remembered that he and the child were playing and he went to look for him. He found the lifeless body of the child in the nearby Bush. The funny thing is that he had no idea that the boy was dead. He just picked up the body and went to return the boy to his parents. The police then arrested him and spun the story we heard before. This is the true story! I just wish our police would investigate properly before arresting and parading people before the press!
realtestament: Op Which of the community shield are u talking about?? Because the one i watched arsene Wenger flogged mourinho...
#2nd leg no dey o
You mind them. I always say that life is about cycles. Arsenal went unbeaten in 2004 they were in top of their cycle but the players got old and either left the team or retired. Another cycle started and we were building a new stadium so there were no funds to compete with other top clubs even at that we never fell below fourth and hence always qualified for the champions league. Now there's another cycle and we will make full use of it because we now have the financial clout to compete with our competitors and players that are ready to challenge for trophies. In other words a new cycle has begun. Watch out!
This is not the first time this animal has done this.
How can he identify the internal organs and the precision of the cut indicates that he went through some form of informal training on how to dissect a body and remove internal organs
This happened near where I live. My neighbour showed me the pictures from her phone. I can't believe that some one could so heartless as to kill a child! Just because of money. He says that he is sorry but I think that he was sorry because he was caught. He should be sentenced to death for this crime.
samobaba: The leadership crisis in the House of Representatives appears to have been resolved as the member, representing Surulere Federal Constituency of Lagos, Mr. Femi Gbajabiamila, has emerged the Majority Leader of the House.
President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday met the representatives ahead of their resumption today but the federal lawmakers emerged from the meeting singing discordant tunes, suggesting that the meeting with the president had failed.
