Very correct. Those fixed charges are way too high. I can't even understand the logic for paying fixed charges its like paying for what you don't get to use.
I think that if PHCN derives all its fund from money it gets from providing electricity then it will get serious about distributing prepaid metres and providing constant power and not extorting its customers with fixed charges wether they provide light or not.

What do you expect? That they should give away $2million in salaries just to save Nigeria.
It's a pity that Mark doesn't seem to get it. He loyal to his pocket Nigeria is his meal ticket.
I think it's time the house of assembly should reduce its budget by 70%.
So the proceeds can be useful to the majority of Nigerians.

I tried it and it still didn't work. I took to their office and they told me that the decoder is bad that I will have buy a replacement that costs N2,900. For something I didn't spoil. Robbery!

I understand you but the problem is that most people take things for granted. The thing is if she offered to wash her plates and the elder brother said she shouldn't worry that's fine but if she left her plates on the table and expects someone. Else to do the washing up that unacceptable..

It will be highly unlikely that all The Chibok girls will be rescued due to the fact that they have been missing for far too long and their trail has gotten cold. But if they do their work well with captured Boko Haram members maybe we can get some back to their families but to get all of them back is not possible.

Gotv subscribers beware of the latest Gotv software update.
The major aim of the software is to scramble NTA which has been free in the old software. However the new software also comes with changing of the decoder background.

My software has been upgraded but now the decoder has hanged and refuse to work again.
What can I do?

I don't agree with you. The reason why a lot of Nigerians die after accidenta or robbery attacks is because of situations like this. If you help anyone in a critical condition it's either you're the one who put the person in that condition or you're an accomplice.
Our police need to be better at investigating people instead of doing easy thing by assuming every good Samaritan is a criminal.
We can only save lives if we have compassion and if we know that we won't get into trouble for doing a good turn.

What type of country I'd this?
We have been grappling with this power issue for donkey years yet no headway.
Maybe they should get foreign expatriates to run this sector for about ten years then hand over to some well trained Nigerians.
