I had an Extratalk subscription that was to expire on 24th of this month,
called your cc to renew the subscription on the 23rd cos I wanted the balances rolled over into the new cycle.

After the subscription, yes my previous balances were rolled over, but only to be cleared the following morning.

The information on your website clearly says balances would be rolled over into the new cycle if renewed before expiration.

Please return my balances.

I checked my balance 3am this morning And I had a data balance of 463.06 day time data and 102mb(1.00am to 7am)

Then I subscribed immediately for happy hour plan...25naira for 500mb..... And before I could download 3 files of 70mb....i was told all my data had exhausted....the happy hour ,day time and night time data plan....and this happened within 20minutes!

I have been calling customer care representatives and one insisted they can only see the last time I used my data plan which was the time before I used it 3am...and this was 9.58pm....

Then others said they can see that i had data and then they would pretend that can't hear me again and cut the call.....


Dear Mtn please I need a refund of my data.....i didn't even plan to subscribe, I was sent 1000naira airtime to call and you people used it up as an auto renewal which I didn't activate on my phone ....please and please I need my data ..... I have no tree nor snake giving me money please!!!

I hv dis mtn sim (0803...080) with over 10gb active data got frm diff previous roll-over, being reserved for a particular project work. This was to expire Feb.4 but I did a top up dat extended it to Feb.5-2018 @ 00:21hrs And I always ensure I have enough airtime balance to enable auto-renewal and to avoid data loss.

However, in readiness for d auto renewal I tried recharging my line since late last night of Feb.4 breaking till early hour of d today (Feb.5) but dis wasn't successful. With several attempts it persisted. I saw it as d usual ntwk problem and expecting it to be over soon, at least before d expiration. Tried calling mtn 180 still no way through.

While still on this @ 00:22hrs, I received a txt msg frm mtn "Oops! Renewal of 1.5gb...... was not successful". While attempting to reach mtn CS again, @ 00:24hrs I got another txt msg frm mtn "Renewal of 1.5gb.... successful". (See all screenshots below wt time received).

Relieved dat d airtime has eventually recharged and d data auto-renewal done, I went ahead to check my data balance but to my utmost surprise, mtn only credited me with d usual 1.5gb data and its bonus BUT NEVER ROLLED OVER MY EXISTING DATA.

Mtn pls I need my data refund.

Thanks Jide but I have already tried that option in addition to the Web self service.

I have tried many times to explain to your agents on your website chat but somehow they only respond by referring me to the app or the self service.

The app will not open as it keeps returning an error "server inaccessible". The self service on the other hand keeps saying eCare services not available now.

So kindly help to check from your end.
