I am sorry that you had such experience, please visit the office where the device was purchased. The bundle was activated without the SIM being in the device. Kindly request that the 10GB be credited to your data account for both lines.

It is so alarming and disheartening that one can get robbed any how and at any time by the so-called "Enriching Lifes" Network Provider, MTN Nigeria in this 21st century where competition for market is on the rise.

Could you believe i just got robbed #90 for a service which was reported to cost #50? A service i never activated with my phone.

It is highly a cheat, the *560*1# they launched to show active/pending subscription is never effective. Dial it from now till next year, you wont get to see the active services but yet, you get charged for useless services rendered. Hmm, are you there? @NCCNigeria

I use a Gionee m5mini. This problem occurs with every device and phone line. Nobody in this neighbourhood is able to get mtn 3G coverage.

my mtn sim got damaged about two months ago .so I went to a nearby office and bought a welcome back pack and filled d form .I was told to insert d sim d next morning which I did but d sim was deactivated I went back to d office.
when I got there I told them d problem I was directed to d agent whom I purchased d welcome pack from but he was unavailable
have been going there consistently but d guy hasn't been around
I stopped going couple of weeks back cause of d high cost of transportation

MTN latest means of stealing from their esteem' customers is through "MTN game+"

I am victim to that game plus nonsense, my brother as well as my dad had been a victim also. This coparate stealing must stop, this is corruption at the highest level and it has to stop as soon as possible...can't just imagine #50 being deducted from over 20millions active lines on a weekly basis, this will surely beat Dasuki's record withing a month.

We all need to stage a protest on the internet, this south african company that is determined to take corruption to another dimension in Nigeria must be stop'.

I called their customer care line and lady who attended to me said she doesn't have to application to refund my money and that there is nothing she could do about it when i requested that my money should be pushed back to my line.
But they developed the application to deduct our account without giving us an option wether to opt in for the game+ fraud or not

This dubious act can only stop via an online protest and we must start it now.

NCC are not on our side, so they can not hear us. But i trust the Presidency, National assembly and EFCC will hear us.

Stealing is corruption and it must stop now.

While surfing the internet in search of a good recharge package on MTN, I came across the Awuf4u pack whereby you load airtime with *888*pin# and you get 3 times bonus plus your original voucher value. It looked attractive so I gave it a try(though I doubted if it would profit me since MTN is involved) with a #100 recharge.

Truthfully I was given (100 * 3) 100 = #400, but it was in a separate account other than the main account (thats not really an issue though).
I decided to make an experimental voice call for analytical purposes and below is my discovery:

I called for 10 seconds and was charged #4.95
therefore a minute(60s) call would cost (4.95 * 60)/10 = #29.7 .
The whole #400 given would therefore make 400/29.7 = 13.468 minutes of voice call.

Ordinarily making a call of 1minute on Mtn zone plan(12k/s) would cost (12 * 60)/100 = #7.2 .
Therefore the #100 would make a call of 100/7.2 =
13.8888888 minutes.

Comparing the above results you can see that the MTN Awuf4u plan is a kinda scam since it ends up profiting MTN instead of the customer.

At last MTN showed once again that they don't have the interest of their subscribers at heart with this SUGAR-COATED Awuf4u package of theirs.

I then subscribe for my monthly data of 1k for 1.5g but to my very surprise I just discovered this mawn that all my bonus is gone overnight. I browsed all night but unknowingly to me MTN deducted my bonus instead of the data I subscribe for and it's really annoying because right now my bal is zero I called their customer care they didn't have anything tangible to say.
