Why is it after every three days of enjoying the 25.00 night plan it refuses to work on the fourth day? It deducts my money, sends the confirmatory message but try as I may I can't get it to browse. Calling customer service is out of the question because even the tone of their voice shows displeasure at me for ruining their night.

[b]After d long advertised MTN pulse, I finally migrated to it (by dialing *406#). 3nights ago, which was Sunday morning, by 12am, I subscribed for d night unlimited browsing for N25. This amount was deducted from my account and I got a confirming SMS, which also notified me of my ability to surf d internet till 4am. I had already checked my existing data which was 1063MB as at midnight, but behold at exactly 3.33am I got an SMS alert that my data bundle was remaining 745MB. I was shocked n called their customer care, only to be accused of not switching my phone off/on b4 browsing (which I did). This accusation was followed by unreasonable reasons y I was wrong n they (MTN) were right.

Just this (Tue) morning again, same thing happened, I subscribed 4d night plan, was charged 4it n got an SMS confirming it. I THEN SWITCHED OFF MY PHONE FROM 12AM TILL 12.30AM, when I put it bck on, checked my previously existing data (which was 501MB) n started surfing again. Only for an SMS to be sent that my data remains 81MB.
As I type, I feel cheated by MTN. I've called their customer care again, but they keep posting me, mostly saying that d app "they'll use to confirm is down". Plz Nairalanders beware, this act by MTN is really fraudulent. 07069592966.

Most of our Communication Companies are seen as cooperate thieves organization especially MTN. over a decade I have been using this network the same thing has been happening over and over again. They are fond of deducting you money without any reasonable point to back their obnoxious act of theft up. The only thing they will tell you is that we are very sorry and that doesn't stop them from doing such, and I wonder if they engaged in such act and deduct #100 from 100 people in a day.
My Germaine question is,
Is it the operational system manager that engage in this obnoxious act of theft or is there anybody among the junior staff that carry this act out?

I wonder why our government have not still descend on them in order to know what would have happened. The fact remains that I'm not the only one they have done this to and I can't be the last, until we Nigerians rise up to fight against this legally. We cannot allow an alien company to be cheating on us. This very disgusting!
I call this cooperate theft because is another level of corruption.

I hv always done d renewals very successfully and it automatically occurs between 12:15pm and 1:15pm once there is sufficient airtime balance.

However, since d early hour of yesterday, July 14 2016, say 2am, I had serious challenge on dis said line. I cant recharge airtime in readiness for d renewal, cant even transfer credit to d line, cant make calls, cant text, etc. I initially saw it as normal ntwk problem and expecting it to be over soon.

Trying to frantically guard against unexpected data loss, at about 9am, I had to use another mtn line to call mtn cs 180 lodging my complaints and fears. I was told there had bn such complaints frm other subscribers too and dat I should just relax being a general problem. Dat it wl be resolved before my subscription expires.

Trying to beat d subscription expiration (always between 12:15pm to 1:15pm) and to avoid story dat touches d heart, I called mtn cs again at about 10am but I was still asked to call back, dat their engineers are seriously working on it. Shortly after dis, I got a txt msg frm mtn acknowledging d issue (see screenshot below).

After an hour, nothing seems to have changed. I called again and was told same story. Being now more restless, I kept calling mtn cs almost every 1 hour interval, yet nothing changed.

D most incredible and sad part of dis long story is dat...... at about 1:18pm, mtn had d guts to send me a txt msg dat 'my renewal has failed.....' (See screenshot below) despite d problem to recharge is known to them and moreso dat d issue is not still being resolved. I called mtn immediately I got d txt but still same story of ...... d problem is being worked on.

As early as 3am dis morning (July15 2016) I called mtn cs again only to be told dat they cant access any info on my line at d moment to justify my complaints. And that I should continue to call back until they are able to access info.

Now, d question is when wl I know d time they wl be able to access info? Even if they are able to access info and they still claim they hv nt bn able, hw wl I know? Will over 2gb data go just like dat?

Mtn pls I need my data refund.

I don't know why MTN keep deducting my airtime for services that I never heard of nor subscribed to.

Today, I wanted to recharge again but had to call their customer care because I know what will befall me if I recharge. After wasting my time for up to 20 minutes, they finally picked. After explaining my ordeal to their Customer Service representative, he mentioned one service like that which he claimed I subscribed to. I asked him to help me unsubscribe from it and prevent future automatic subscription which he did and I ended the call. I received a message from them that they have successfully done that.

Believing that my problem is gone, I happily recharged my line and for 30 minutes, my airtime remained intact.
About an hour or so I received a message that I have successfully subscribed to Naijapals entertainment Gist....blah blah blah.
I rushed to check my airtime only to see that N100 has been deducted immediately.
Note: I never browse, call nor send any message after I recharged.
Hence, how did I subscribed to that thinghuh
Am very furious with them(MTN) right now.
Upon on this economic hardship that we found ourself in, I can't even recharge my line and make use of it.
I am thinking of what to do to MTN right now.

I av this peculiar issue on my mtn line since december2015. Every time i load a card say 200naira and i leave my phone for a period of 12hrs with or without using the credit.

I just noticed a multiple of 20naira has been deducted from my phone without receiving any alert as to why it was removed.
Also, daily deduction of 15naira is removed from my line.

have called CC several times, and dey give excuses of 'the app to check my sim is not responding/ dey av directed the issues to their engineers' but yet no changes.
